Review of ADYPU School of Design, Ajeenkya DY Patil University.
Placements: Our college has excellent placements. Top recruiting companies like BMW, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good. Our rooms are hygienic, large, and comfortable. They are expensive, as their fees include the hostel. Wi-Fi is not available throughout the hostel.
Faculty: Our faculty members are excellent. They have experience in teaching and are good communicators. They are friendly with students. My favorite sir is C.P. Sir, the HOD of the design course. There is no written exam but at the end of the semester, there is a jury-style presentation.
Other: The campus is excellent and has a wide area to walk and enjoy. The entire campus is excellent and has a cool atmosphere.

No campus placements are provided, and faculty members change frequently.
Placements: No campus placements are offered, so we do not get an opportunity to present our work or secure an internship or job. Very few students get internships or jobs through the college. I know from my friend studying at MIT University that big automotive companies come there for campus placements, whereas no one comes to our college.
Infrastructure: They show a good room when you come to see the hostel, but when the room is allotted, it is below average and definitely not like the sample room. The bathrooms are the worst. Only one toilet out of ten is on the second floor. The same applies to the bathrooms. Only the rooms are decent but normal.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, but many leave after every semester and are replaced by new ones. So, it is hard to build a good rapport. Faculty members help and explain concepts well, but before we get familiar with them, they leave, and new ones join.
Other: During my semester break after completing the 3rd year, I did a three-month internship through the college with an assured compensation of Rs. 10,000 per month. It has been more than a year since completing the internship, and I have asked the relevant people about the payment, but I still have not received it. In my last year, my clay model was showcased at the AUTO EXPO 2025. Since the model is fragile and made out of clay, it was transported to Delhi by air cargo, but on the return, it was transported by road, and unfortunately, the model broke.

Zero value and endless frustration is experienced.
Placements: The batch was poorly managed, placements were almost zero, and barely anyone got placed with the help of the college. Students did everything themselves, found internships and placements themselves, and the college wants credit for it. The packages range from nothing to nothing, recruiters never came, fake promised and total disappointment.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were good, hostel wasn’t much maintained, hostel was average basically, quite expensive for the quality provided. Canteen was available, but there was no proper mess facility available. Overall, infrastructure-related facilities were okay. Labs are okay, some devices won’t work, license keys for design related software’s were provided in the last six months, which should have been given to us in the first year itself.
Faculty: Faculty members kept changing, which made learning quite messy and inconsistent. Most of the time, we had to self-study. A few teachers were helpful, but they left the university quickly. The ex-dean was excellent but couldn’t continue due to personal reasons. The curriculum wasn’t industry-ready, and preparation support was poor.
Other: I chose this course hoping for learning and growth, but it turned out to be a complete waste of money, time, and our parents’ hard work. Events existed, and we had to do everything without a proper budget and support. Reasonable backlogs were gifted to certain students, despite no fault of the students, forcing students to visit campus countless times, even after 4 years of spending our own money. Students get no respect or value, and even after countless mistakes not being corrected, the college does not seem to stop asking for fee reminders the moment the next semester starts. Convocation is near, and yet we haven’t received the corrected mark sheet. Some students represented the university internationally, and they still had to visit the college countless times for reimbursement. Emotionally exhausting and deeply disappointing.

Good placement opportunities for MBA, Automobile design, product designing students.
Placements: Above 80% of students get placements and internships in great companies. The package can be between 1.5 to 15 LPA. Companies like TATA STEEL, TCS, KOTAK MAHINDRA, WIPRO, and INFOSYS recruit from our university.
Infrastructure: There's an availability of Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, music room. The quality of food served in the mess is good. The campus is full of greenery and there's sufficient ventilation in hostel rooms and classrooms. Many interesting sports and yoga facilities are available in the campus infrastructure as well.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and always available for help. The environment is so friendly and the staff is also supportive. The semester exams are always based on the things that have already been taught by the teachers. The exams aren't that difficult.
Other: I was interested in the Graphic Design course and found this college worth getting admission to. All fests and occasions are celebrated every year.
