Review of ADYPU School of Design, Ajeenkya DY Patil University.

Faculty: Our faculty members are excellent. They have experience in teaching and are good communicators. They are friendly with students. My favorite sir is C.P. Sir, the HOD of the design course. There is no written exam but at the end of the semester, there is a jury-style presentation.

A College once considered a Premier Institution.

Faculty: 1. Teachers were quite good and but can't be fully dependent on the Teachers. Some were strict and some were really very helpful and available at any times 2. The course curriculum is relevant enough but some of the subjects were for the sake of credits. Students need to make themselves industry ready by themselves, can't be dependant on the Teachers.

It is the worst college you can ever imagine.

Faculty: Faculty are the worst. This college does not even have a single good faculty. The person who addresses themselves as faculty members doesn't know anything about design. It is like a government job for them. They come whenever they want, do whatever they want and leave. They don't give a damn about the students at all. The only thing they care about is money, and they will go to any extent to take money from the students. They will easily fail student to charge credit penalty from them. These peo...

The college provided really good infrastructure for students.

Faculty: Every teacher helps all the students, and they resolve if anyone has any doubt. Teachers decided their teaching strategy according to the weakest students of the class, and by that, every student was able to understand what they taught us. By motivating and removing stage fear among students, they improved everyone. There are 41 students in my class, and everyone scored well in their semester exams.

DYPDC is a college that has been set up by Dilip Chabriya (one of the best automobile designers in India.). As I was inspired by him I joined this college, but later came to know that the college had some issues and Dilip Chabriya left, now there is no proper faculty to teach (in fact there is only one faculty left now for product design) neither the facilities are good. So there are no juniors as well. We are the only pilot batch and the last batch till now. Campus placements is zero.

No campus placements are provided, and faculty members change frequently.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, but many leave after every semester and are replaced by new ones. So, it is hard to build a good rapport. Faculty members help and explain concepts well, but before we get familiar with them, they leave, and new ones join.

Zero value and endless frustration is experienced.

Faculty: Faculty members kept changing, which made learning quite messy and inconsistent. Most of the time, we had to self-study. A few teachers were helpful, but they left the university quickly. The ex-dean was excellent but couldn’t continue due to personal reasons. The curriculum wasn’t industry-ready, and preparation support was poor.

Good placement opportunities for MBA, Automobile design, product designing students.

Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and always available for help. The environment is so friendly and the staff is also supportive. The semester exams are always based on the things that have already been taught by the teachers. The exams aren't that difficult.

I am satisfied because of the facilities provided by the college.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good. Teachers are also good, knowledgeable, and highly qualified. They teach very well to all students, especially for weak students. They make students independent and sharp. The college is right to get an education and to get a proper job.

No, direct admissions are not offered at ADYPU School of Design. Students need to clear all the selection rounds to get a seat at the institute. This includes appearing for the ADYPU AIDAT + Interview + Studio Test.

To get admission in ADYPU School of Design, students need to apply online. The institute accepts students based on AIDAT + Interview + Campus Studio Test performance. Once all the selection rounds are over, selected students need to pay the fees.
