It is a good college with infrastructure and a peaceful place.
Placements: In my college, there are several courses like AI and this. CSE this course was started in 2023, and the core branches were started in 2001. Then placements are conducted in the final year in companies like Talrop, Wipro, etc. We should require some fundamental skills in programming, problem-solving, logical thinking, etc. If we tackle everything, we will get placed.
Infrastructure: The lab facility is good. There is a well-maintained hostel. We do not get bad food quality. Mainly, three bus routes are available through Palakkad, Manarkkad, and Patambi. There is a bus facility to the railway station. It is free, and no fee is required for the railway bus. The fee is comparatively worth it because the fee at nearby colleges is slightly higher.
Faculty: Faculty and staff members are friendly. They are well-experienced and also helpful during revision time. They help to discuss important questions, and during exams, they ask us to score 90 percent. The syllabus is new, and the 2024 scheme is easy to score. 24 out of 60 marks are needed to score. We require 24 marks to pass the university exam, but we should study properly.
Other: A tech fest is conducted, and recently it became a great success, creating a good reputation as it is conducted every year. Art fest, extra sports, and programs like the Onam celebration and Christmas celebrations are also conducted every year.

If you're ready to enjoy and secure your career in future you can choose here.
Placements: In our college, there are many students from each and every department who are placed in several industrial areas and also in their conducted course-based jobs. The top recruitment companies are like Google, Microsoft, Talrop, ABB and Wipro, and students from core branches get placed in companies like IT-based, as well as in their own course-based job sectors.
Infrastructure: Well, about infrastructure, especially about the lab facility, our college is good. As EEE students, we have separate labs and well-trained industrial professionals who teach us. Therefore, those students are able to know how to handle industrial areas. Then, about the internet and computer labs in our college, there are almost 7 computer labs with Wi-Fi connectivity. About hostel life, there is a regular FSSAI food inspection conducted, so no need to worry about food quality. Then, about hostel rooms, they are neat and clean. One room consists of 2 beds for 2 students.
Faculty: About staff and faculty, it is important to say. They have completed a PG degree in specified subjects and are well-experienced. They follow the syllabus from KTU University, and are helpful and friendly to students. About exams, according to the 2024 scheme, the exam is comparatively easy to pass because only 24 marks need to be scored out of 60 marks, so passing the exam is not a big deal.
Other: Every semester, there will be at least one programme conducted. Also, every year, there is an art fest and a tech fest conducted by the college. Onam and Christmas are celebrated every year. Our college is located in a hill area, so it is calm to study and very good to enjoy our college life.

Absolutely a good college. Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In my college, I am studying EEE.
Infrastructure: FSSAI inspection is usually done in my college, therefore, there is no hostel food issue to complain about, and also the hostel is neat and clean. And overall, 7 computer labs are there, each department has separate computer labs, and Wi-Fi facilities are available. And labs are very well-maintained and clean.
Faculty: Most of the staff, and especially lab instructors, worked in industrial areas, therefore, they have a great practical knowledge. In the exam, according to the 2024 scheme, it is easy to score the pass mark. Now the mark needed to pass a paper is 24 out of 60. And everything depends upon the interest, how much we gain knowledge and utilise everything, like labs and interactions with professionals, etc. The staff are highly experienced, some people have 20 years of teaching experience. Currently, due to working from home, at my college, AI and CS are trending, so in my class, the strength is low. But definitely, one day the demand will get back to the core branches.
Other: In every semester, there must be a fest and celebrations, and they are always awesome. Also, there are sports, especially in football. Surrounding areas are a natural place because the college is in a hilly area, so there are several rubber estates, and it is a fully natural and calm place. A great place to study and enjoy college life.

Review of Al-Ameen Engineering College.
Placements: Our batch had 63 students who studied electrical and electronics engineering. Only 12 students got placements from our batch. The highest salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 7,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 10,000 month. Top recruiting companies were Vodafone, Idea, and KSEB. Roles offered here were in substation recruitment as an electrical engineer. The highest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Only 10% of the students got an internship from our course, and it was in KSEB and Vodafone.
Infrastructure: There were hostel facilities available for boys and girls. A Library and a computer lab were provided for students. The college provides Wi-Fi enabled labs. Classrooms in our college were normal. The quality of the facilities was average. The quality of the food served in the mess and canteen was below average. Occasionally, we get good food, but the price was too high and not affordable for common students. There were not many medical facilities, and the management didn't take any interest in it. There were no sports and games facilities. A playground was made available for the students after our course duration, but the management does not allow students to make proper use of it. They were trying to reduce their expenses by cutting our sports time and tournaments.
Faculty: Teachers here were helpful but not that qualified. Some of them got jobs because of religious quotas. They only favoured certain students, and they never completed their portions. So students had no choice other than studying the subjects by themselves or from outside help. The course curriculum was not relevant. We were studying unimportant topics, and we were not industry-ready. We didn't even visit any industry. We didn't do any good projects as we were supposed to do. There were only some paper presentations. Teachers were not helpful to understand the real industry outside.
Other: I have chosen this course only because I had no other choice. I was interested to learn but didn't have many opportunities. Teachers here were good enough to make us prepare. But we learned with limitations, and it was a good experience. Practical sections are required to improve the course with fewer exams, more industry training, and good internships. There were not many events, but the campus crowd was good. The college is located in a remote location on a hilltop. So there is not much connection with the surrounding. The college did not conduct any extracurricular activities.

Almost around Palakkad, especially about the cost of fees, our college is better.
Placements: Students get placed. There is a crucial condition that if you have a back paper, it is difficult to get placed, because some companies place students who don't have back papers. So you should clear every paper to the maximum on the first attempt. Usually, in every final year, placements are conducted in my college, and most of the companies are reputable. If you perform well, you get placed; that's all.
Infrastructure: The college is good and neat, regularly maintained, and it is surrounded by nature, which makes it good to study in a calm environment and enjoy your college life. Regarding the college hostel, as a hostel student of this college, I don't feel bad, and especially, there is no ragging in my hostel that's a great thing I experienced as a hosteller. The hostel food is good, and if you have any complaints, you can directly contact the mess, and everyone is friendly. You don't need to hesitate about that.
Faculty: Faculty members are not bad, but completing exams is not easy; it is due to the university pattern, as our university is KTU. As per the university rule, the semester only has 3-4 months, so you should keep that in mind for exams. The faculty members are the only reason I at least passed my exams; they are well-experienced and trained and hold PG degrees in specific subjects. They are supportive and helpful, especially before exams, as they conduct revisions and discuss important questions.
Other: Events and fests in our college are good. If you're willing to study and care about your future, you can enjoy everything without any tension; otherwise, you lose your happiness and career. Many workshops are regularly conducted in our college, and fests like the arts and tech fest are the main things that make our college fulfilling.
