Aspirants need to appear for NEET and get a good rank to secure a seat in the institute. Candidates who pass Class 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCB stream along with Englisha are eligible to apply for NEET. AIIMS Delhi being the top Medical college of India has a competitive admission process. The cutoff for AIIMS Delhi MBBS programme was 48 in 2025 and 47 in 2024. The cutoffs are highly competitive considering the large number of applicants appearing for the exam and availability of limited seats.

The MSc in Nursing and MSc in Paramedical Courses are further available in seven and eight specialisations, respectively. To be eligible for all the courses, students must have completed their relevant undergraduate degree with at least 60% aggregate. After all the rounds of counselling are held, the institute verifies the documents of all the candidates who have been allocated a seat.
