Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria: You must be an Indian citizen, have attained or will attain the age of 17 years as of December 31 of the year of admission, and have passed the 12th Class under the 10+2 Scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or an equivalent examination with English and medical group subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology).
2. Apply for the entrance examination: Send your application in the prescribed form, available with the prospectus, to the Academic Section of AIIMS.
3. Appear for the entrance examination: The examination is usually held on the first Sunday of June.
4. Check the result: The result of the entrance examination is declared in mid-July.
5. Join the course: Admitted candidates must join classes on August 1. The admission of candidates who fail to join the course by the stipulated date will be automatically canceled.
6. Undergo medical examination: Selected candidates will have to undergo a medical examination by a Medical Board set up by the Institute.
7. Pay the fees: The following fees and charges are applicable for the MBBS course: Registration Fee, Hostel Rent, Caution Money, Tuition Fee, Laboratory Fee, Students Union Fee, and Mess Security (refundable) and Hostel Security (refundable).
