Well, yes, students whose background is that of Chemistry could ordinarily apply to M.Sc Biochemistry courses in India. Lots of Universities and Colleges would accept B.Sc graduates in Chemistry, as well as in other life science-related fields such as Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology and others provided their aggregate marks are within a minimum level (usually 50-60%). Ay school may need a good background in the particular related subjects or entrance examination. You should ensure that you have the right eligibility requirements to the M.Sc Biochemistry programme of that particular university.

To apply for MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at AIIMS Delhi, you need to appear for the AIIMS entrance exam and successfully pass the test. The difficulty level is stated to be high for this exam, so thorough study and proper revision is absolutely mandatory. Joining coaching classes for the same can be helpful to a certain extent provided you give in that much of time and dedication. Rigorous mock tests and self-evaluation is equally important as self-study.
The best time to start preparing for MDS is in the 3rd year of BDS. Start by being fully aware of the exam pattern, syllabus, and other basic stuff. Acquire the required study material for each subject/topic for dental PG exam preparation, focusing on quality rather than quantity.
The recruitment of dental faculty for new AIIMS is almost done recently. It was a post of Assistant Professor in Dentistry, so the specialty hardly mattered. After completing MDS from AIIMS, you will get senior residency in AIIMS only, and better chances of getting into faculty posts at AIIMS.
MDS from AIIMS is apparently the most beautiful dream that one can convert into reality by sheer hard work. The course from the prestigious AIIMS requires one to appear for the AIIMS entrance exam and successfully pass the test.
AIIMS gives a very handsome stipend, so from the day you enter PG, you will be self-sufficient. Your research work is sponsored by AIIMS (most likely). You will get to meet and build professional relations with top-of-the-top professionals in the field. The AIIMS tag itself should get you a decent job.
For more information, you can visit the official AIIMS website or contact their admission office.
