To apply for MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at AIIMS Delhi, you need to appear for the AIIMS entrance exam and successfully pass the test. The difficulty level is stated to be high for this exam, so thorough study and proper revision is absolutely mandatory. Joining coaching classes for the same can be helpful to a certain extent provided you give in that much of time and dedication. Rigorous mock tests and self-evaluation is equally important as self-study.
The best time to start preparing for MDS is in the 3rd year of BDS. Start by being fully aware of the exam pattern, syllabus, and other basic stuff. Acquire the required study material for each subject/topic for dental PG exam preparation, focusing on quality rather than quantity.
The recruitment of dental faculty for new AIIMS is almost done recently. It was a post of Assistant Professor in Dentistry, so the specialty hardly mattered. After completing MDS from AIIMS, you will get senior residency in AIIMS only, and better chances of getting into faculty posts at AIIMS.
MDS from AIIMS is apparently the most beautiful dream that one can convert into reality by sheer hard work. The course from the prestigious AIIMS requires one to appear for the AIIMS entrance exam and successfully pass the test.
AIIMS gives a very handsome stipend, so from the day you enter PG, you will be self-sufficient. Your research work is sponsored by AIIMS (most likely). You will get to meet and build professional relations with top-of-the-top professionals in the field. The AIIMS tag itself should get you a decent job.
For more information, you can visit the official AIIMS website or contact their admission office.

The AIIMS Delhi is very strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of M.Sc. in Medical Pharmacology. The candidate must have a degree in a relevant field and must meet the minimum percentage requirements. The selection process is based on an entrance examination, and the candidate must also undergo a medical examination by a board appointed by the institute. The candidate must be medically fit to join the course. The institute also has a penalty for discontinuation of the course after joining, which is Rs. 5000. The candidate must also possess a valid degree and must have completed all the requirements for the course. The institute is very particular about the eligibility criteria and does not allow any candidate to join the course if they do not meet the requirements.
