Altera Institute admissions for the 2026-27 (PGP ‘27 batch) are now open. Early Round of Applications are now live till 30th December 2025. Interested students can check the website of Altera Institute to apply.
For intake to the PGP ‘27 batch, Altera Institute will be accepting the CAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT scores. Students who will be appearing for CAT 25, NMAT 25, XAT 26 or have a valid GMAT - FE score from last 2 years (Nov. 23 onwards) can apply now.
The recently graduated PGP ‘25 batch set higher benchmarks of placement outcomes for the Institute. The IPRS audited placement stats are as follows:
- Median CTC – 18.14 LPA
- Highest CTC – 26.08 LPA
- Top 25%ile CTC – 22.14 LPA

Altera Institute offers MBA across several specialisations. The duration for MBA at Altera Institute is 2 years. The eligibility for MBA courses at Altera is graduation/ bachelor's degree in any stream with at least 50% and a valid score in CAT, NMAT, XAT, and GMAT. Altera Institute Admission Dates 2026
The Altera Institute admission dates are inline with its accepted entrance exams. Candidates selection is based on the scores obtained in one of CAT, XAT, NMAT and GMAT entrance exams. Altera Institute has a non-refundable application fee of INR 1,499 for the early round and INR 1,999 for later rounds. The fee can be paid along with the application form.
There are a total of 180 seats for the MBA/PGP course. The seat allotment process is carried out based on accepted exam score and as per the sanctioned seat intake. This mentioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.
