Amrita College of Nursing offers a three-year UG course of BSc in Nursing. The course follows a semester system, which is given as per the syllabus of Indian Nursing Council. Admission to this course is entrance-based. It's a UG level course, those who pass Class 12 with minimum 60% aggregate in the respective subjects are eligible to apply for this course. Students get selected on 50% seats via scores of candidates in Amrita Entrance Examination Life Sciences, Agriculture & Medical Sciences (AEEL). The remaining 50% seats are reserved for meritorious candidates under the scholarship category.

Admissions are given based on the university-level entrance exams, which are conducted by the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.

For admission to PG courses, the shortlisted candidates have to appear for a Personal Interview round. Admissions at Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi is the Directorate of Admissions & Scholarships. For admission to the PG course, 50% of the seats are reserved for students with merit scores and the remaining 50% of seats are reserved for the Scholarship category.

It is a good college and has good faculty members.
Placements: Almost 100 students are present in my class and my junior years. They have been started with the semester system. We are the last batch to follow the year system. There is actually merit management as well as NRI Kotak available, and there is only little course fee difference between all the same.
Infrastructure: All the services are very good. The mess food and the canteen food is also very good. They provide medical, sports, and games facilities such as badminton, basketball, throwball, etc.
Faculty: All the faculty members are extremely talented. They are highly educated. They are helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum for us was what I live and for the semester system. The course curriculum is relevant. It provides a range of opportunities to all the students. Exams are not much difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: This course was chosen by me according to my mother and I was also going to pursue CRA after BSE nursing, so this course found it very helpful and my life is going to be secured after I pass out of the course. My college life is also very good.

Really good college providing good placements.
Placements: 100% placements are provided in the college. There are no internships available. The course ensures directly getting a job after passing out. 12 lacks is needed for studying in this college. The first placement of the hospital got 25000. If the student does not pass the course, they get a job in this hospital but the salary is only 15000.
Infrastructure: In the college, we get Wi-Fi along with a library. Only vegetarian food is provided here but the food quality is good. The college offers good medical facilities, sports and games. We have good electrical facilities. At times, the water facility gets poor, but it is manageable. There are no outings for the students.
Faculty: The teachers are well trained and knowledgeable. The curriculum is helpful for the students. 50% is needed to pass. The semester exams are very difficult for the students due to lots of assignments being given. If you have a good internals score, you will pass easily.
Other: It is a professional course that's why I selected this but it's too difficult to study.

Very satisfied because of the placements.
Placements: I am studying in Amrita College of Nursing. There is an entrance exam conducted to get an admission here. I got enrolled in the college by passing in that examination. In our batch, there are 94 students. Almost all our seniors are working now. Our college has 90% chances of students getting placements.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure which is equipped with speciality labs, research centre and a library with lots of books and databases. Our hostel has enough accommodation facilities along with Wi-Fi, vegetarian food and good medical services. Hostel provides a high quality gymnasium.
Faculty: Teachers are student friendly and have a wide range of knowledge. Most of them have completed their Ph.Ds. Our curriculum is very relevant for our course, it helps us to get enough knowledge in our area. Exams are good and very helpful for analysing our knowledge. Passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in caring for others. I think this is the job which has a hand of God. My campus also provides enough curricular and extracurricular activities. No scholarship are provided by the college.

Our college is best for nursing.
Placements: Around 100% of students are placed. The highest salary package is 2 LPA. AIMS Delhi and AIMS Coimbatore are the recruiters. Nurse, nursing super end, etc are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are highly innovative and efficient. The atmosphere is good and peaceful. Hostel facilities are good with higher amenities. Food provided in the hostel is veg. We have a nonveg canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are doing well and are highly educated. They provide quality education. The course curriculum is relevant and updated. Semester exams are tough but we get an adequate revision. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Social service is the main highlight of this course. Teaching methods can be improved. All the events and activities are interesting and enjoyable.

We promote Amrita a lot but get no credit. More fests, less audience roles, please. Faculty's good.
Placements: Medanta Hospital Fortis Hospital Sarvodaya Hospital The highest that you can get for this career is 2 LPA starting, and upto 3,60,000 after experience and all. The top role that you may get in this career in India, is being a award incharge, infection control nurse, nursing superintendent, Deputy Nursing Superintendent.
Infrastructure: Hostel is just okay. No Wi-Fi in the hostel. Food is just edible with sometimes no taste at all. The classes are all AC, with SMART class features. The study desk is just big enough to accommodate a R. D Sharma only. Fortunate we have AC's in our rooms.
Faculty: This college has 2 sessional exam per semester. We have one model exam. We have one university semester exam. We have faculty members majorly from AIIMS Delhi, Pune, Bhubaneswar. We have 6 months of one semester, with 1? Months of theoretical teaching and rest all clinical duties.
Other: I chose this course because of the growing demand. I wanted to move abroad There is no college fest.

Placements: The college does not offer any placements for B.Sc. Nursing programme currently. According to the semester system, the course offers internship of 6 months which can be done in the same hospital. Those students of college who wishers to work in the hospital after completion of the course can apply for the same within the given time and will be offered salary approximately 25000 .
Infrastructure: The facilities available are good such are classrooms accomodating hundred students, separate library for the college and labs designed exclusively for nursing subjects. The hostel facilities include 3 people in one room, common toilets and washing area, a washing machines for 2 floors, gym facilities and a common mess area where vegetarian food is only available. Shops and restaurants are nearby where students can purchase non veg if need and other necessary items. There is no canteen available inside the college.
Faculty: The faculty is qualified and knowledgeable, provides needed assistance and guidance for making learning experience effective. The curriculum is constructed in such a way that it is nearly impossible to complete them in alloted hours. The exams are quite difficult but enough time for revision and preparatory holidays are available to make it less stressful.
Other: The best thing about the course is the job opportunities available after completion of the course. The exposure gained in the clinical setting and hospital is valuable and may not be available in most of the nursing colleges. The college also provides opportunities of arts and sports. However events and fests are very less comparatively in the campus.
