Review of Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Renigunta.

Placements: The majority of the students were placed in my course, as CSE is currently a trending course. The highest offered package for our batch is 5 LPA, while the lowest is 2.5 LPA, with an average of 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Emphasis, Cognizant, Accenture, Kaptius, and more. Students who worked hard got their internships in some MNCs and even in IT colleges. The top roles offered to the students in this course are mostly development positions.

Infrastructure: There are 4 blocks: A, B, C, and D. Blocks A, B, and C are constructed together, while block D is separate. Each block has 4 floors. Each floor has 8-10 rooms and also consists of a teachers' office, toilets for gents and ladies, and a computer lab. On the ground floor, we have an auditorium big enough to hold 500 students, a Physics lab, a Chemistry lab, and many more facilities. The hostel is also nice, and the food provided is good. However, the prices in the canteen are a bit high.

Faculty: A lot of the staff are newly recruited and they don't have much experience, so it's hard to tell whether they are not comfortable enough to open up to us and speak freely, or if they don't know how to do it. However, based on my four years of experience, a few faculty members were very talented, but very few had a lack of skills. The course curriculum was better before, but now it's changed and is very helpful for the new joiners.

Other: I enjoyed the culture and study environment, etc.

I was satisfied with the labs and teaching, but not that satisfied with the placements.

Placements: Nearly 30 to 40% of the people got placement opportunities. The highest package of this college is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. I think no one got an internship opportunity from our course. Emphasis is recruiting nearly 15 to 20 members.

Infrastructure: Faculty members of this college are friendly towards the studies, and they will encourage and help in various situations, like cultural activities, technical activities, extracurricular activities, and co-curricular activities. In classrooms, it contains a board, a table, benches, and a projector.

Faculty: There are so many senior faculty members to help the students with good knowledge, and some of the faculty members who do not have good knowledge about the course are also there. Overall, the quality of the teaching is okay. Semester exams were not that difficult if we came across the proper class.

Placements: There are no more placements through the college. We have to try from outside of the college. The placement percentage is average in our college. Students who have about 90% are eligible for placements through college. Placements start from the B.Tech 3rd year.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in our college. Classrooms are more spacious and clean. A lab is available at any time. The library contains all types of books which are needed for the different departments. Journals are also available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. They will help to clear the semester exams. Semester exams are going on. The pass percentage is 60%. The faculty is very helpful throughout the college. They will support every student to clear all the responsible subjects.

Everything is good. Regarding faculty, they are friendly with students.

Placements: About 75% of students got placed in the college. We have top recruiting companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Emphasis, Basis, etc. We have campus recruitment training to get selected in the top recruiting companies, where students are trained according to the company's patterns.

Infrastructure: A vast space is provided for everything. We have A/C in the labs. We have a big library where we have almost 500 books regarding all the branches, and also for other exam preparations. The class is also big, where easily 60 students can sit, and it is provided with 4 fans in each class.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and coordinate with the students in all aspects. They will help the students participate in the technical and non-technical events. The semester exams will be moderate, and the pass percentage in the college is 60%.

Other: I have chosen AI because, at present, AI is a booming technical skill. As it is booming, everyone should learn about AI.

Best place to learn and grow with opportunities.

Placements: Approximately 200 students are placed every year from our college with an average package of 4 LPA. Many companies visit our campus for placements, including Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Emphasis, Basis, Deloitte, and others. All the selected students receive internship letters, and most of the offers are for the role of Associate Software Engineer.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available or permitted for students in the college. The labs, classrooms, and library are good, but the labs have limited equipment for experiments. The faculty members are friendly with students. Coming to the hostel, there is no Wi-Fi, but the food is good. However, there are no medical facilities in either the college or the hostel. Sports and games options are also lacking, as they are conducted only before certain events.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive; most of them are well-qualified and make the topics easy to understand. The curriculum is relevant and covers industry-related concepts. Exams are not very difficult. If we attend classes and study regularly, we can pass without much stress. The fee structure is reasonable compared to the facilities provided. Quality teaching and placement support make it worth the money, though the hostel and food could be better. Campus life is active with cultural fests, sports, and different student clubs. The crowd is friendly and interactive, which makes the environment enjoyable. Good opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities.

Faculty is good, but the placements are fewer. In 2024, there were about 200 placements.

Placements: In our college, there were fewer placements for students, but the college was good enough for studying. Our college was certified by Microsoft in Data Science. Wipro was at the top, along with many other companies like Tech Mahindra. The top role in our course was Data Scientist.

Infrastructure: The hostel quality was good. The mess and food were good enough, but there were fewer games in our college.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful during internal exams, as they provided important questions related to our curriculum. Our curriculum was industry-ready because of the many labs that provided relevant basic knowledge. The semester exams were tough, and only students who studied were able to pass. Our college faculty was good enough for teaching, and their teaching skills were good, but I have no further remarks for them. I personally believe that our education was good.

Other: I chose the data science branch because I was interested in it. By taking HTML, Java courses, and DSA, I was able to improve my career. There were no monthly events, and events were fewer. The campus crowd was more, and scholarships were available.
