Candidates after getting admission at Annamalai University DDE can download the soft copy of study material from the university's website. The syllabus and self learning study materials for the programme is supplied during the time of admission. For the second, third and fourth semesters/ years, the self-learning study material is dispatched by CDOE via post on receipt of the tuition fee for respective years. Students should also have paid the fees in full for the
previous years to get the study material.

The course curriculum include electives option. Candidates can choose the preferred subjects in the fourth semester of the programme. There are five electives, which are further sub-divided. The offered main elective categories are: Human Resource Management, Systems, Production Management, Financial Management, and Marketing Management. Each of the elective subject also has a credit attached to it.

No, Annmalai University DDE offers admission to the MBA programme on a merit-basis. There is no entrance score requirement. The university accept applications for the distance course based on merit in the last qualifying examination. Hence, the aspirants performance in the bachelor's degree course is considered for the final selection. However, to be eligible for the course, aspirants must have a valid bachelor's degree of at least three years duration.
