Absolutely satisfied with AOT.

Placements: High placement offers. Around 180 students are already placed with an average package of INR 4.5 LPA. Overall academy of technology is a temple for education, so I would highly recommend students to join an academy of technology as in the district of Howrah, it is the best engineering institution in which the courses are offered in a very organized way.

Infrastructure: Nice infrastructure, well-equipped labs and play ground. The laboratory is equipped to participate in different hackathons and coding competitions with helpful and qualified lab assistant. The machines are also not too old. In academy of technology, everyone is going to learn in linux OS.

Faculty: Top-class faculty members. They are highly supportive in each matter. Even our principal sir is very much supportive of any student's problem and thereafter comes the placement cell. ey guide the students as parents to reach a company's door. Our TPO m'aam is very kind and helpful.

Other: I was a BCA graduate then. I wanted to pursue higher studies and I opted for MCA. now I am in 3rd semester and our placement is in progress. Many of our class mates including me are placed.

Highly recommended for CS and IT students because of a Very Good faculty and Good placement in a MNC

Placements: In the season 2022- 23, 10 students of Master of Computer Applications out of 32 students are already placed in a well-known MNC like - TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro. The average package offered by the MNC is INR 4,00,000 per year and INR 10000 per month during their training period. The top Recruiting company for our course is Cognizant. The companies offer junior engineer Trainee roles and programme. Analyst role for their selected candidates. 75%-80% of students got internship offers during their last year in a well-known IT sector.

Infrastructure: In our college, most probably 200-250 classrooms are there. 10-15 laboratories are there with one Big central Library for their student. There are no Wi-Fi facilities available for their students. All students are using their internet.

Faculty: The teachers are highly educated and hold their M.Tech degrees, some of them are also Ph.D. That is why they teach us very well and systematically. Along with our regular course, they also provide a special class in our daily routine which makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are very tough and strict. The pass percentage is 40% in our college.

Other: I chose the course to join a reputable MNC, where I can build my career.

Our college has good faculty members and provides good placements.

Placements: About 90% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA by Amazon. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, etc. Around 60% of students get internships through Internshala.

Infrastructure: A lab is available for every subject. Lab assistants are good and knowledgeable. A hostel is available. We get good food from the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are available. We play games. A gym and an ATM are available on the campus.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful to students. The teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Malpractice is not allowed in exams. The pass percentage is 99%.

Review of AOT- Academy of Technology.

Placements: Many MNCs and startups visit our college to hire students. Placements are average in our college. The minimum salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 7 LPA. The maximum salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. TCS, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc., are the top recruiting companies. If you study properly then you can get on-campus placements easily.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There is no Wi-Fi facility. The food served in the canteen is better. It also provides a decent library. The reading room is not available so we have to read in classrooms. Washrooms are clean in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are polite but few of them are rude. They are also well-educated and few speak English only in our classrooms.

Other: I opted for this course because of its placements. If students take special classes for placements like communication skill development, aptitude, interview skill, etc., then it would be easy for them to get placements in top companies.

Academy of Technology is the best for me.

Placements: Our batch and senior batch have good placements. In my senior batch, 45 students out of 55 got placed. In our batch, 52 students got placed out of 58. These record placed on-campus, and the rest all are placed on off-campus. Finally, all the students got placed with me.

Infrastructure: Our college has good facilities like departments, medical facilities, parking facilities, bus facilities, etc. The college provides the ambulance for the college staff as well as the students in the emergency time. The college has big football and cricket field for the sports.

Faculty: Our college is helpful for all of these staff members and the students. The faculty members are friendly with all the students. Every department is good for the students as well as the faculty. The faculty members and the students are closed for any inconvenience caused.

Other: I am Shakeel Ansari, and I have done MCA from Academy of Technology. AOT is in the top 10 colleges of West Bengal.

With a WBJEE rank around 105800 you have a good chance of getting admission to aot academy of technology particularly in certain branches like electrical and electronics engineering as the closing cut off in for WBJEE in 2024 was 996426

My rank is 20k and cutoff for first counselling is 81257 for BTech ECE. Do I have a chance of getting a seat in AOT till last round?

Considering the AOT cutoff 2024 for the BTech courses, only Round 1 seat allotment was released for the ECE course. Considering the AOT ECE cutoff 2024, the cutoff stood at 81257.
