Dr. Umakanta Swain recently participated in the 4th International Virtual Multidisciplinary Conference, From Gurukul to Global: Paving the Path to Viksit Bharat@2047 – Restructuring Higher Education with Indic Priorities, held on 27–28 December 2025. At this prestigious gathering, Dr. Swain presented his research entitled: “The Non-Canonical Poly(A) Polymerase TENT4A Governs DNA Damage Tolerance through mRNA Stabilization and the lncRNA PAXIP1-AS2.” His work sheds light on the critical role of TENT4A in maintaining genomic stability, highlighting how mRNA stabilization and long non-coding RNA interactions contribute to DNA damage tolerance. This research not only advances molecular biology but also underscores the importance of innovative approaches in higher education and scientific inquiry aligned with Indic priorities.
Dr. Dhiraj Kumar Nanda and Dr. Jyoti Ranjan Rout, from the School of Biological Sciences at AIPH University, Bhubaneswar, successfully completed the Online Refresher Course in Indian Knowledge Systems under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MM-TTP) of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The course was organized by the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, from 15–28 December 2025.
