Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi, academics with scope for practical & industry exposure.
Placements: I was in the 2024 batch at Aryabhatta College, DU. Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi, offered decent placement opportunities for B.Com. Program students, with around 40-50% of students getting placed through campus drives. The highest package offered was around 10-12 LPA, while the lowest was around 2 LPA, and the average package ranged between 4-5.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Google, KPMG, Wipro, ICICI Prudential, and IBM. Internships were a strong part of the college experience, with nearly 400-500 students from the B.Com. Stream interning with firms such as Urban Company, Zomato, The Economic Times, and Paytm.
Infrastructure: Aryabhatta College offered a solid academic environment and decent infrastructure for B.Com. Students. The classrooms were spacious and equipped with projectors and whiteboards to support interactive and lecture-based learning. The college had a well-stocked library with a strong collection of commerce-related books, journals, and reference materials essential for B.Com. Subjects like accounting, finance, and taxation.
Faculty: At B.Com, the program at Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi, was reasonably relevant and aligned with industry standards. Being part of the college, we followed a structured and regularly updated syllabus under the New Education Policy (NEP) and CBCS.
Other: As a B.Com student at Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi, there were several positives about the course. But there were also a few areas where I felt it could have improved to prepare us for the real world. I wish we had more practical exposure and more focus on modern tools and software.

College infrastructure is good and has a natural habitat.
Placements: 1. Recent Batch of 160+ students: 61 students are placed and some go for Higher studies and some go for Government Examination Preparation. So, around 38% of students are getting placed. 2. The highest package is 11 lakhs CTC by ICICI Bank for BCom (Honours) students, and the average package is around 5 lakhs to 5.6 lakhs. And the lowest package accepted by one student is around 3.4 LPA. 3. KPMG, ICICI Bank , Lenskart, Register Karo, EY, Bajaj Capital, Aditya Birla and many others are the top recruiters. 4. Around 45–50% of students got internships from BCom Honors, BCom , BMS, BA Economic and others. 5. Audit associate, investment analyst , deputy manager, tax executive and others are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: 1. The college campus is Wi-Fi enabled, has a fully centralized AC library, and has a chemistry, botany, and physics lab. 2. Decent quality food items are available in the canteen at affordable prices. The college has large grounds for football and other sports as well, and medical aid is also available on the college campus.
Faculty: Faculties are really very kind and helpful in academic as well as other domains of life and give the right mentorship to students and all are well qualified and able to deliver knowledge to their students. Course curriculum is relevant but, to some extent, outdated and needs to be changed because industry doesn't need these things. The semester is not very difficult but you have to study diligently and consistently, and the pass percentage is around 80-85% .
Other: I chose this course because it provides good future scope and makes me industry-ready. Regular servicing of water coolers is needed. DU has initiated scholarships for financially weak students .

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, really good infrastructure and facilities, etc.
Placements: Around 60% of students were placed, with the average package offered ranging between 300,000 - 500,000. Companies that visit the college include Deloitte, Snacks Media, and HDFC. About 50% of students secured internships through the college, mostly with Snacks Media or Deloitte as sales executives.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. The campus is clean and well-maintained, with washrooms on each floor and separate buildings for arts and commerce. The ground is large and used for various games, while the canteen offers normal quality food.
Faculty: The teachers are mostly permanent and hold doctorate degrees. They are well-versed in their subjects and generally willing to help, though management staff are less accessible. Semester exams occur every 4 months and are of moderate difficulty.
Other: I chose this course because it is highly regarded at Delhi University. However, I feel the admission process needs improvement due to a lack of proper management. The college offers several extracurricular activities, including societies and sports.

Overall, it is a great experience.
Placements: I would say placement in my college is not that great but it is okay. The highest package in my college was 11 Lacs and average is around 4 Lacs. Around 40% of students get placed in campus placement. There are top companies and MNCs that visited the campus during campus placement .
Infrastructure: I would say the infrastructure of my college is great and feels fresh. Even the new building is almost complete. Classes are also well established, the latest books are available in the library, mess is something that is not that great. I think food quality is very low. Medical facilities are also available and sports are very active at Aryabhatta College.
Faculty: I would say the faculty of my commerce department is so great. Professors are well qualified and experienced. They have their own and different styles of teaching. B.Com. (Hons) is the most preferred course at Delhi University because of its curriculum. Its syllabus is also different from that of other universities.
Other: B.Com. honors at Delhi University was my first choice because of the curriculum. The faculty is great, and the crowd of students in my department is also great. The college annual festival is also great. Scholarship opportunities are available for those students who are financially unstable. In Aryabhatta College, extracurricular activities are there .

Review of Aryabhatta College, Delhi university.
Placements: The percentage of students cannot be estimated; it's all about who sits for the placement round and gets placed (based on the academics and interview). Good companies come to this college for recruitment, like KPMG, Gartner, EY, etc. As compared to the job, more companies come for the internships.
Infrastructure: A hostel is not available at this college. Labs are properly equipped. The library has books from all domains. Students can also borrow laptops from the college. The canteen is top-notch, and food is available at a lower rate. Indoor and outdoor sports are both available at the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They have very deep knowledge of their subjects. They are basically friends with the students (the old professors are an exception). Exams are held every six semesters. The pass percentage is as per the Delhi University guidelines. Students are not ready for the industry, though.
