Companies that visited the campus were not much satisfied with the students of our batch, and only quite a few students got placed from our department.

Very flexible and easy curriculum, helpful faculty, hub of student politics.
Placements: I don't have that much information about placements in my course, and I think that's because very few students are offered packages. I have never heard of someone who got a placement from our college, but I know that companies do come for placements at our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not as good as a private college, but compared to many government colleges and other colleges in DU, I think it’s good. There is good Wi-Fi. Computer labs are recently renovated, and new up-to-date models are placed there. There is no hostel facility at our college.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful if you get in touch with them 1 on 1, and the curriculum is quite flexible. It’s not too much that you need to really focus on and is not a burden at all. I think the curriculum at DU lets us explore new fields and work on things other than our course.
Other: I opted for this course because it perfectly aligns the most with the field I am going to pursue in future and the eligibility criteria. We have a lot of events and fests going on almost every week (sometimes less). There are guest speakers, student activities, competitions, seminars, games, sports competitions, jamming sessions.

A decent college with a decent crowd and a lot of potential in the coming years.
Placements: Most of the students in our college don't opt for placements & go for higher students as the packages offered are pretty basic. The highest package here is 15-16 LPA, the lowest is around 2 LPA, and the average company offers 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Lenskart, Unacademy, Byjus & others. In the internship fair, quite a few students got internships ranging from unpaid to Rs. 10,000 per month with various new companies & startups. Most people don't sit for placements. In my course, around 15 students were placed. Top roles offered in B.Com (Hons) are data analytics, HR, and business development.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is above average considering other DU colleges. Wi-Fi is available but speed sometimes is not enough. 2-3 labs are available for B.Com (Hons) department. The library is air-conditioned & books are also available. The canteen food is good considering the price. The hostel facility is not available in our college.
Faculty: Our faculty members are nice but there are a few expectations with irregular teachers. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders or assistant professors who are pursuing Ph.D. The course is relevant. Industry visits & internship opportunities should be provided to make it more industry-level. In B.Com honors, semester exams are not very difficult. It is difficult to score more than 8 CGPA but students easily get around 6 CGPA with an extra push it is not difficult to get 7 CGPA.
Other: I chose B.Com (Hons) because it provides in-depth knowledge about commerce. The new education policy also gives students to study subjects from another discipline as well. Internships should be made compulsory and extra credit should be provided for it so that we get industry exposure. Fest in my college are decent and societies are very active which gives the student a lot of exposure.
