M.Des in Design Futures 

at ISDI Mumbai, Kurla West

The MDes in Design Futures aims to help students gain advanced skills in design, address challenges now and in the future and use product, interaction and visual design with an eye on social, cultural and environmental issues.

Students learn through core classes, studio assignments and writing a thesis on topics such as speculative design, sustainability, AI, XR, data visualization and entrepreneurship which helps ensure their education is up to date.

A total of 230 students graduated during the 2021-22 academic year. As per the official data, 65% of the total students were successfully placed during the 2022 placements, whereas, 10% of the batch opted for Masters. As per the official record, Google offered the highest international package of INR 1.20 crore per annum during the 2022 placements. The second in the sequence was HYgraph with the highest package of INR 34 LPA. XAT 2026 registration process began from July 10, 2025. Official announcement of commencement of XAT registration process 2026 has been made by XLRI at its website. Interested candidates have to register for XAT 2026 by creating a login ID at xatonline.in website. The XAT application fee will be INR 2200. Candidates will have to pay the fee to submit the XAT application form.

The popular programmes at Atlas School of Design and Innovation are its BDes and MBA programme at the UG and PG levels respectively which are extended in a range of specialisations including:

• BDes: Communication Design, Animation & VFX, Communication & Styling, Product Design, Fashion Design, Strategic Design Management and Interior Design.
• MBA: Design Management & Strategic Thinking.
