B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2018

I am satisfied with the college but has a few inexperienced faculty members.
Placements: In our course of B.Tech civil engineering, there were a few placements in companies like JP cement and a few other companies but when it comes to computer science and EC branch the placements were good, and companies like Infosys and others visit to hire students.
Infrastructure: The college building and its library were beautiful as compared to other colleges. Library provides centralised air-conditioner and computer laboratories facility. The hostel building was average, as well as there was a Wi-Fi facility for every student. The quality of food in the hostel was average.
Faculty: Teachers were mostly fresher and had little knowledge about their subjects except for some teachers who were experienced. They only teach students like reading a book and explaining it well. But when it comes to concept building they lack in it. Overall college was good, but students had to study on their own.

This college has a really good infrastructure.
Placements: 20 percent of the students were placed in various companies and got job in different salary package starting from 2 to 3 lakh per annum. TCS and Wipro are involved in the placement drives. IT and CS branch gets best placements but other branches get less placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. Wi-Fi is available and classrooms are well ventilated. There is a good library and air conditioned classrooms. Medical facilities are not available but sports and canteen are good.
Faculty: The curriculum is good, but scoring 90% with the teachers teaching methods is a difficult task for the students. Semester exams are taken by AKTU which helps the students to pass in exams.

In the summer vacation, students must train themselves in good company.
Placements: Almost 20% of the students got placed in campus placements. Almost 8% of the students got an internship in our college. Many companies offered students with placements and jobs. Our college is average in the ranking list of top colleges. The minimum salary package offered is 2 LPA, and the maximum salary package offered is 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: In our college, facilities are good for education and practicals. The infrastructure of our college is very good and big. Library departments are bad because they have the oldest books for students. The syllabus is incomplete, but the gaming program is good in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-knowledgeable. Our course is good, and the environment provided is also the best. This course is currently relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to do something in the engineering project. The best thing about our course is civil engineers are everything to the environment and nation.

Q:   Are private sector BTech jobs better-paying than government jobs?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

Well, yes. The private sector BTech jobs in India offer a higher earning potential than the government sector jobs, including promotions, yearly bonuses, performance rewards, etc., along with a plethora of career options across different sectors. Having said that, there is less scope for job stability in the private sector due to market downturns.

The government sector is known for decent job security and other benefits like health insurance and retirement benefits. Rest, you can sit and decide for yourself whatever suits your interests the best. Best wishes.

Q:   Are there any hands-on labs or internships included in the BTech CSE coursework?
    ShikshaGPT says
    A:

The BTech CSE syllabus is incomplete without regular lab classes and internship programs because of the importance of programming, software development, and AI and ML knowledge required in the CSE field, which cannot be taught only through theory classes.

Premier institutes often collaborate with leading industrial partners to provide their students with the best internship exposure and training opportunities, which may act as an entry point to excellent earning opportunities later.
