Review of B. P. Mandal College of Engineering, Madhepura.
Placements: College is still developing in terms of placements. Some companies do visit, but opportunities are limited compared to top NITs and IITs. Most students prefer to prepare for government exams or higher studies. However, training and placement cell is trying to improve industry connections. Internship opportunities are increasing year by year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent for a government engineering college. Classrooms and labs are functional with basic equipment, though more modernization is needed. Library has useful study materials, and digital resources are being added gradually. Hostel facilities are average, and rooms are manageable. But maintenance and mess quality can be improved. Campus environment is peaceful, which helps in focusing on studies.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and approachable. Some are highly experienced, while a few are relatively new, so teaching quality can vary. The curriculum is prescribed by Bihar Engineering University (BEU), and covers all essential subjects. Exams are conducted on time with a fair evaluation process. Practical learning could be enhanced, but overall the academic environment is disciplined.
Other: The best part about the college is the affordability of education. It provides a degree in engineering at a low cost, making it accessible for students from different backgrounds. Technical fests, cultural events, and sports activities add to campus life. With more focus on placements and infrastructure upgrades, college has the potential to grow further in the coming years.

This is the best college for engineering in Bihar.
Placements: 65% of students are selected for placement in our college. Recruiters for the EEE branch include HCL, TCS, Infosys, YASH Group, and more. The highest package offered is 12,00,000, the lowest package is 2,50,000, and the average package is 4,00,000. The placement criteria include a CGPA of more than 6.5, aptitude skills, communication skills, and some coding knowledge.
Infrastructure: The hostel fee is 14,400 per year, and the mess fee is 3,200 per month. The quality of the hostel mess food is good, and registration for the hostel is very easy. You just need to fill out the hostel form and pay the advance fee for six months. There are also many PG accommodations and flats available outside of the college campus.
Faculty: EEE is the best branch in this college. All faculty members are qualified through the BPSC Examination, and they are well-experienced and knowledgeable. In one semester, there is one mid-term exam, one class test, a final semester exam, and practicals with a viva.
Other: The college hosts various festivals such as Aarambh2, fresher events, farewell parties, an annual function, and sports events. There is a very big library in the college, a large playground, and facilities for badminton and tennis.

A review of B. P. Mandal College of Engineering .
Placements: About 40 to 50% of candidates among those sitting in placement are placed. The highest package is from CSE, approximately 12 LPA, and the lowest package is approximately 4 LPA. The startup and some old companies like HCL and TCS are executing placement exams in my college. The EEE students generally prefer the GATE exam. The top roles are AE and Grade A officer of PSU's.
Infrastructure: The faculty members of the EEE department are so knowledgeable and experienced. The academic building is well maintained with all labs, big classrooms, and lifts. And there is a single and small library in the college academic building. The hostels are too good, but the food quality is average. Every year, a sports week is conducted by the sports club of the college, in which so many other college students participate.
Faculty: The teachers are so supportive and cooperative. Curriculum is as per other engineering university curriculum. The semester exam is quite moderate to easy-level. And pass percentage is approximately 70 to 75 percent. The curriculum should change as per modern era.
Other: The 2021 batch is a fabulous batch, and some students are qualifying for the GATE exam in their 3rd year of college.

I am not satisfied because of placements Infrastructure is good but lacks teaching.
Placements: About 30% of students are placed. The highest package 6LPA and avarage is 2.5 LPA. Top companies are HCL, Birla cement, Prism cement, Tech Mahindra, and so on. About 40% of students got internships in this college and 45% of students got on-campus placements. Some hons about the college is lack of teachers. Teaching quality of the teachers should be the best.
Infrastructure: The course is avarage but the infrastructure of the college is really good (e. g. labs, classroom, canteen, library, etc. The hostel's infrastructure is good but the mess food is avarage. Hostel discipline is strict. The rules are strict. Lack of gym and games.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is not relevant. It doesn't make the students industry-ready. The semester exam is tough and the passing percentage is 40%. The final semester exams are tough.

This college is very beautiful. You can study well and enjoy college life to the fullest.
Placements: Each year, students from every branch are placed in many companies, like Wipro, Cisco, TCS, Tech Mahindra, etc. The highest salary package is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Students get internships at TCS, Alstom Madhepura, NTPC Badh, and NTPC Muzaffarpur.
Infrastructure: All departments have their own lab, classroom, air conditioner, library, and the best internet connectivity through Wi-Fi. The hostel is just as good as the medical college and IIT mess. There is a canteen. Medical facilities, sports, and games are available. ATM and bank services are available.
Faculty: All technical teachers are Ph.D. holders and IIT qualified as well as BPSC qualified. The majority of non-technical staff B.Tech holders are guest faculty like lab assistants and guards. They speak English because they are highly educated. The pass percentage is 90% and all the faculty have a good behaviour.
Other: Some events are good.
