Good infrastructure and supportive faculty, with placements and scope for improvement.
Placements: The department attracts reputed recruiters from diverse sectors. Some of the top companies visiting the campus include IT & software Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, Accenture and Capgemini. Core/technical are L&T, Siemens, Bosch, and Tata Technologies. Analytics & consulting are Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and PwC.
Infrastructure: There are spacious classrooms with projectors, smart boards, and audio-visual teaching aids. Computer labs with updated software and high-performance systems. Access to labs, projects, internships, and case studies that help apply knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Faculty: Regular guest lectures, workshops, and seminars by industry experts further enhance learning beyond textbooks. Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable, who guide not only academically but also in career growth. A good number of reputed companies visit the campus for internships and final placements.
Other: More guest lectures, workshops and industry tie ups would help students gain deeper insights.

Once upon a time, this college had a good reputation but now it's getting bad.
Placements: I'm currently studying in my second year of college, so there are no placements for my class. The average package offered is around 2–6 LPA in my course. There is not any such fixed recruiting company; however, Tata and some local firms recruit from the college. An internship has not been provided to us yet and we can't say if we will get it in the future.
Infrastructure: If we talk about the infrastructure of the college, the buildings are good, but there is not much on the campus, like long grounds and playgrounds. Classrooms are AC smart classrooms, but they don't run AC all the time and keep getting issues. The hostel facility is close after the COVID; the quality of food in the canteen is kind of okay, not much good; talking about medical facilities, their is a dispenser for students; normal headaches, wounds and other small treatments can be done. The sports ground is always close; it is opened almost once a year for college sports day tournaments only. There is not much encouragement for sports there.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good at teaching, have good knowledge and are well qualified, but a few new teachers aren't very good; old and experienced teachers left the college, so the study level is a little low. Students need to study hard; they need to do more self-study to get ready for a job. The semester exams are very difficult; less than 50% of students clear all exams in one semester.
Other: This course is very famous these days and it's future scope is good, which is why I chose it. They should provide more good teachers. There are not many fests organized in college, and the number of students taking admission is decreasing.

Infrastructure is average, some facilities are good, some are poor, and placements are good.
Placements: In this college 4th year/5th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Some recruiting companies include TCS, Iktara, HCL, etc. The highest package is INR 700000 LPA, and the average package is INR 400000 LPA. More than 50% of students are getting placements. Overall placements at this college are better.
Infrastructure: Facilities such as well-designed computer laboratories, a silent library, and well-comfortable classrooms with air-conditioned facilities are available. There are two canteens in the college that offer good-quality food, and the behavior of the ones sitting behind the counter of the canteen is good.
Faculty: In this college, some faculty members are very good in the nature of their knowledge but some faculty members are ranked 6 out of 10. Some faculty are Ph.D. (Professors) and some faculty are post-graduate. Exams are three times in a semester, and the difficulty level is normal as well as high, according to the students knowledge.
Other: I chose this course to become something in the classroom. Field, I love doing coding; that's why I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that you will never be bored in this field because there are always new projects and programs to solve. Some things are there that could be better. The course should be more practical than theoretical. In this college, every fest has its own fest, and every year there should be a sports tournament in the college.

Our college has the best faculty members to provide knowledge.
Placements: About 30-40% of the students are placed from our passing out batch. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2.05 LPA. Accenture is the top recruiting company of our college. The top role offered to the students is software tester. At least 30% of the students from our batch get an internship in their personal field of interest.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the campus in the information technology department are air-conditioned smart classrooms with well-furnished seating arrangements. Computer labs are available with high-tech availability. Every possible facility is provided here.
Faculty: All the faculty members in the computer science and technology field are well-experienced and have superb knowledge of their subjects. They help students for their technical and conceptual work. They are also providing some extracurricular activities to develop students' skills.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in computers related to networks and server maintenance.

Dissatisfied because of faculty.
Placements: About 35% of the students of our course were placed through campus placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Adobe, etc., are the top recruiters. Programmer, Coder, debugger, designer, database admin, project engineer, manager, HR, project engineer, etc., are the roles offered. The highest salary package offered in our course was 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered in our course was 1.20 LPA. The average salary package offered in our course was 2.5 LPA. Nearly 30% of the students got internships from college in companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Accenture, FCI-CCM, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities such as Wi-Fi, computer labs, library, playground, seminar room, smart classrooms with projectors, etc., are available here. The facilities of the hostel are good. The food provided is also good. There is too rush at the canteen during lunch, and there is no space for standing and eating in a nice manner. Medical facilities are good. The sports ground is not in good condition. Everywhere the grass is growing, and somewhere it is rough.
Faculty: All the teachers are not knowledgeable. Some of the teachers are freshers, and they have no experience in teaching. So their way of teaching is not good. The course curriculum is the best point here. They prepare us for the industry by teaching us new languages in extra lectures which are beyond MDU syllabus like Java, Python, Machine Learning, etc.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is a white-collar job, and also I have a keen interest in computers, and I want to become a software engineer. According to me, some industry experts should be invited for a seminar so that they can guide us what technologies they are working on and we will also know how to get a job in future. Scholarships are provided for meritorious students, and the rest other things are performed in a nice way.

All the facilities are provided in a good manner, and their quality is good except for sports and games. Students are not offered sports lectures, and the quality of the ground is also not good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is also good and is efficient. The lectures are arranged systematically, and the content is delivered perfectly. The course curriculum is relevant, and the college provides students with some extra lectures in which they prepare students for new technologies like machine learning, internet of things, artificial intelligence, C, C++, java, python, database, and Microsoft Excel, etc.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in making programs and I want to work in the software industry, which makes apps which aids in improving the life's of people better and easy. According to me, more guest lectures should be provided, and people who have worked in the industry should be invited to share their views and experience with the students. Events and fests are conducted.

Life of B.S. Anangpuria students.
Placements: Placement over here is neither too good, nor too bad. If a student is capable, he/she will get placed in any company with ease. So it's up to you how you prepare yourself for placements. On the other hand, average companies come for placements. Earlier, IT firms like Amazon came for hiring but the bad thing was, they came for hiring students for call centers not for software purpose works.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not too good. It feels like a school. But you will never get Wi-Fi or good quality food. There are no games- neither indoor nor outdoor. Labs are good and are upgraded.
ACs are not fully functional, so it will be a tough time in summers.
Faculty: Many faculty members are helpful and kind; they will help you in any case.
But not all are same.
Few are mean minded. That's the worst part. The course curriculum is okay because it is not too hard. But yes, teachers give lots of assignments and homework.
Other: My college is in Faridabad Alampur, near Sohna.
So there is no mode of entertainment nearby our college.
In fact, the students are not even allowed to go out from the college until its 4:15 pm, so they are really very strict. The good thing is students can bunk classes with the permission but not regularly.
