Pathfinder of Bankura, it's the way for those who want to pursue it from near home.
Placements: About 100% of students get a chance to be placed. Many big names attend to recruit us. They chose through many steps, not for the highest or the lowest CGPA but for good sense of humor and communication skills. They gave 2 LPA to 5 LPA packages at starting and more.
Infrastructure: College is in a good place from Bankura Town, there route to Bankura station nearby. Bus services are free to all from hostel to college and college to hostel. It has free use for college library. We have technical labs, play grounds, and all staffs.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Many of the teachers pursuing Ph.D. or pursued. Their teaching qualities are very high, high at professional. Course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are made easy for us with the help of teachers. Teachers are friendly and helpful.
Other: I did DME here.

Not the best college, but trying to be that.
Placements: For the previous years the placement was average. But the 2018 batch got a 100% placement. Also the ongoing 4th-year batch whose class started just 2days ago, got placed in Piaggio. The highest salary offered is 25k p.m. and the lowest is 12k p.m. Companies like Fuji, Dilip Bitcoin, Kalpataru, Piaggio etc. Visited the campus.
Infrastructure: Jio Wi-Fi is available free of cost. All the labs have almost every m/CS and instruments. But some of them are faulty. Central library have more than enough number of books from various publishers. Also e books are available.2days a week doctor visits the campus. Cricket, football, badminton, volleyball are available along with gym facilities. Each of the classes are specious and well cleaned and ventilated. In each class whiteboard and projector is available. Good quality food is offered in the canteen. The hostel is 2kms away from the college. Bus facility is available free of cost. In hostel also good food is available. But the hostel rooms are not up to mark. They are dirty.
Faculty: Enough number of teachers are available, and they are well qualified. The teaching quality is nearly 85%. The teachers are really very helpful. They tries to give their 100% to the students. Whiteboard and projector is used for giving lessons. Student to faculty ratio is 7:1. we all got industry exposure.
Other: All type of events like Fest, freshers, teachers day, blood donation camps, tree plantation are held in the college.

It's an average college, tuition fees is moderate. The place is great and close to nature.
Placements: The placements are very bad for mechanical, civil, and electrical. Computer science and ECE are still better. I got placed at Petron with 2.7 LPA package, but the did not send me the appointment letter. No MNCs are called, and there are a lot of fake companies and BPOs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. Wi-Fi is enabled on campus, and the 1st-year hostel is good. The library is well-equipped, and computers are okay. The mechanical lab is new, so it's good. The electrical lab is the best. Overall, infrastructure wise it's average to good. There is a games room, and canteen is average.
Faculty: The HOD is all good, and one teacher from each department other than the HOD is great, but the assistant professors are not up to the mark. Student to faculty ratio is good. Their teaching methods are modern with projectors and screens. Some lab attendants are better than the others, not all are good.
Other: The scholarship is as the state university gives. Annual fest Technophilia is organised every year. Freshers and farewell are also organised. Sports are very important and are encouraged a lot.

Good placements in 2015. Only faculty are somewhat inexperienced. A good environment is there
Placements: Up to 50% seniors are placed. In my batch, up to 60% placements are done. The lowest salary offered is 1.25 lacs per annum and the highest offered is 3.25 lacs. Companies which visited in my time are Amtech, Spunmicro and Accord Tools. I think no internship has been provided to anyone in my college.
Infrastructure: We have a great environment for studies here. We have a good hostel away from our college. In the hostel, Wi-Fi is provided to all. The mess facilities are also available within it. A college bus is also there. The library is good and for sports-loving students, a playground is there for various games. There are medical facilities provided to students who are ill.
Faculty: Faculty members are okay, not so much experienced. They are helpful and the student-faculty ratio is 10:1. They used to teach us on the blackboard and they treated us like a friend. Extracurricular activities are also done within the campus. Certain clubs are there for learning purposes.
Other: The college is situated near the highway, full of green plants. On the campus, Wi-Fi facilities are provided. Canteens are there and a bank is also attached with the college, so loans are easily granted for poor students. Also, we have student cell on the college campus to solve the problems of students.

Other: We have a very good infrastructure with good lab equipment. Coming to faculty, it’s good except mechanical and electrical branch faculty members. Teachers of these two branches are not at all supportive like other branch teachers. They are just ruining lives of students. We have total of 2000+ students. And the environment to study is also good.

It is a good institute to grow your career path and to learn.
Placements: Students were eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester to the third year. Companies visited like L&T, Shyamal Steel, Sandvik Asian, Tata Steel, GKN, Polymer, and others. The highest package was 2.5 LPA and the average was 1.5 LPA. Company offered the role as a diploma engineer trainee. The placement percentage was less than 50% because some students went on to higher studies. I have done higher studies as I was not interested in placement at that time.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available, and the classrooms were well-maintained with a projector and blackboard. The library was also good, and many books were available, but it was always silent and strict in that area. Hostel was actually a little bit far from campus. Three basketball courts, table tennis, and all facilities were available. Also, the food was good and hygienic on campus as well as in the hostel. Medical facilities were also good. The hospital was near campus. A big cricket ground was situated inside the campus.
Faculty: Actually, it was like 30-40, including all departments in our mechanical faculty, the faculty was 12-15, and students in mechanical were around 65. So, the ratio you can say teacher to students was 1:5-6. Teachers were very helpful, well-qualified, and very knowledgeable to teach every subject very confidently. They had very good teaching quality. The course curriculum was very relevant and industry-oriented due to its structure of study. Mostly, all students passed the exam, but I remember that in the first semester, 2-3 students failed, but they cleared during the second semester by giving a re-exam on this.
Other: Annual festivals were like once a semester and technical festivals were like twice a semester. Libraries were good, but the librarian was very strict. Only three books were given at a time, and when you return those books, the staff checks them like the CID. If they get any marks or pages left, they will charge you for a new book of these, and journals were not available. Sports facilities were not there as the ground was small and situated between the hostel and the campus. It was a very small space so students only focused on studies and went home or hostel.

It is a good college for those students who believe in hard work.
Placements: Not many companies visited our campus for recruitment. But talented and good students got placement. Software companies visit our campus for placement, but they were not quite good in the way of salary. For mechanical engineering students, there were fewer core companies available, but our college was trying to do something about it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good and had a friendly-environment, but sometimes it was not good. We had a large library and many books that you can't finish reading them. The students' canteen was not quite good as per our expectations, but the staff canteen was quite good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were quite active in their jobs. In the mechanical engineering department, faculty members available were not sufficient, but our professors try their best to teach students. The course curriculum was huge for semester duration. The time was not sufficient to complete the syllabus. MAKAUT University designed our syllabus.
Other: Many events were held on campus and in the future they will organise many more events.

It is a perfect place for engineering but not good to stay.
Placements: Though students should not consider placements as a medium to determine whether a college is good enough, even placements here are average. If you want to choose mechanical engineering, then it's the best place for you. Except in civil engineering, our college can give you the best you deserve.
Infrastructure: The entire campus has built-in free Wi-Fi, a well-established library, an attached bank (BOI) and ATM. If you search for a room to stay, then the hostel is the best option for you. But the food offered is not up to the mark but the rooms have enough place and free internet connection. The hostel campus has been facilitated with almost every type of sports you can expect like football, table tennis, carrom, badminton, etc.
Faculty: The teachers here are highly qualified, and you can check about them on BUIE.com. They are helpful and friendly. The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:15, i.e., there will be one teacher for every 15 students. Especially for girls, it will be 1:10. Our college promotes vocational training and classes, and the faculty members are quite helpful about this matter.
