Our college provides every essential thing along with quality lessons.
Placements: Almost 11% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered was Rs 70,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs 12,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs 30,000 per month. Many government schools and other private schools recruit our students. Around 35% of students got internships in this course. Top roles offered are teacher, philosopher, writer, motivator, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has 5 classrooms for the philosophy course along with a library. Labs are available in our college. There are no hostels in our college. Students who want to learn from this college must stay in rental houses near our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are also qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us every chapter generally. The teaching quality is top-notch. This course is relevant to human philosophy and it teaches us life lessons. It builds our personality and makes us ready for any situation. Semester exams are averagely tough because questions are very common. The only problem is to finish all the questions in time. I think the time should be longer than 2 hours. The average pass percentage is 87%, which is good according to me.

It is a good college with good teachers and good laboratories.
Placements: It was Rs1330 for admission in the B.Sc. zoology course in 1st semester. You can pursue M.Sc. in zoology after completing the B.Sc. course, they'll be many working fields for you, after completing the course. You can become a zoologist, or can try to crack NET after completing graduation here.
Infrastructure: There are projectors, Wi-Fi, computers, and research labs where you can study the specimens to your heart's content. Honestly, I learned to handle microscopes and other things here. You can buy minimal snacks in the canteen, and order specific foods for yourself.
Faculty: Teachers are super good, they help us by guiding us through our hard times. When we were feeling bad about ourselves they often tell us their life stories about how they became the man they are. They also give us preparation talks about our future and provide notes for our studies. The exams were good, and it's kind of difficult. If you won't study enough you will fail.
Other: From when I was a little boy I liked animals, and after that when I went to study tuition at a teacher's place, I was very much amused by his talent and I wanted to be just like him, that's why I pursued after I dreamed of becoming a scientist. I just want our university to donate more things to the college laboratory, if we get enough laboratory materials, we can surely learn many good things. The college campus is surrounded by green trees, the crowd is minimal, and our scholarship is verified a little late in our college.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Geography - Batch of 2024

College life was average, not so charming, but not too bad that we couldn't study there.
Placements: There were placements, but we couldn't expect much from them (around 10%). If we studied very well, we had a chance to get a job through the college. However, a B.Sc. alone didn't guarantee a job, and we had to work hard to secure one. Many students from our batch were later established in big departments, but not in remote sensing or GIS. I did not have an internship, so I do not know much about them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was neither too good nor too bad. It was average, as expected from a college in this location, and being a government institution. The football grounds were good, and we could play there. The entire college had its network, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Classrooms were clean, though average. We could spend time in the library. There was no good hostel facility.
Faculty: Overall, teachers were helpful. They had vast knowledge, and their teaching was good. The course curriculum was not very relevant, but we could expect one or two excursions. Semester exams weren't easy or hard. It depended on teachers, the year, and other factors. Having less than 75% attendance was not a problem if we had good relations with teachers.
Other: I chose this course because I loved geography and had wanted to study a B.Sc. in geography for a long time. I also had an interest in photography, so I chose it. For enjoyment, I bunked many classes, which I shouldn't have done. Events were sometimes very big, like during our time, Keshab, a celebrity, came to perform, so it was quite good. We couldn't expect to build a strong network there. There was a little bit of political party influence, at least. If we applied for a scholarship, it was approved. The college did not organise any extracurricular activities.

Basirhat college is good for future.
Placements: No placements offered from my college, because this is just a graduation level college only B.A. or B.Sc. etc. Course are available. No companies came to this college for their requirements but because of the teaching quality every student can get a good job outside.
Infrastructure: No hostels are available. Everyone is local and everyone from basirhat or basirhat nearby that's why here we don't need any hostel and this is a day college so we can study in day and come back home by dawn. Morning College is also available for some streams.
Faculty: In basirhat college Teaching quality is very good, exams are pretty hard and we have to study hard. Our respective teachers teach us well that's why we easily pass out all kind of hard situations in exam. All teachers are available for all departments and streams.

Overall, Basirhat College is average.
Placements: The placements in Basirhat College are very poor. In my course, I have not heard any news of good placements this year. Good companies don't come to our college with good offers usually. It is a degree college. If you want to find a good college to get a good placement, then Basirhat college is not for you.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. There are enough classrooms in our college building. The classrooms are very big. Maximum subjects are available here. In my opinion, laboratories are very good, well maintained, large and modern. I have visited physics and chemistry laboratories and Maths computer room. Other laboratories are also good. There is a huge library in our college. It is large and peaceful for reading here. There are many auditoriums in college. But our college has no hostel facility. This is a bad thing. A hostel is available nearby. There is a canteen but not well maintained, due to which many students avoid the canteen. Medical facilities are average. There is a huge playground in our college. Annual sports are held every year.
Faculty: Our teachers are very well-qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us very carefully. They are friendly. You can discuss with teachers about your studies (even about other subjects also) even after college hours. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready.
Other: My course is very relevant for master's degree, research degree and also industry. Many festivals are held in our college. Connectivity is very good. Bus, auto, toto and rikshaw, all are available all time. Three railway stations are available nearby.

I recommend this college.
Placements: The college has very good placements. It is one of the most valuable colleges in our area. We are very grateful to have a college like this in our area. The teachers are very good in the college.
Infrastructure: Very good hostel facilities are available in the college, and the rooms are very neat and clean. It is very economical. It is surrounded by beautiful trees. The hostel has 3 washrooms. So, it is good for me. The staff are very caring. They also contact our parents.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good in the college. They are very caring and friendly with students. They handle us very gratefully. They also contact our parents. We love our teachers.
Other: Students can take admission in this college.
