The honest answers campus life.

Faculty: Professors here are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching way is decent, good as my college is affiliated with Makaut, so the examinations are controlled by their only the curriculum is not that much industry-relevant. The semester exams' toughness is very good. You can't score good marks by studying just one day paper pattern is completely unpredictable pass percentage is not that good during the initial semesters, but with time, by understanding the environment university paper toug...

Review of Bengal College of Engineering and Technology, Durgapur

Faculty: For Bengal College of Engineering and Technology (BCET) in Durgapur, feedback is mixed. Many students find the teachers helpful and knowledgeable, with some holding Ph.Ds. However, some reviews indicate the teaching quality can be average. The curriculum is generally considered relevant to the industry, but opinions differ on how well it prepares students for jobs. Many agree that students need to do their own work to be truly industry-ready. Semester exams are considered difficult, but some rep...

Real face of BCET Durgapur.

Faculty: Teachers are never helpful, qualified, or knowledgeable. The teaching quality is sending PDF to Google classroom only. We have used ChatGPT in exams and still got backlogs, then we started leaking papers and got all the chits before, and still got backlogs.

Good placement scope for students if they have skills. Faculty members could have been better.

Faculty: Course Curriculum is as per today's market requirements and teachers are also there with a mix of good and average faculty members. The exam pattern and the standard are good only I would rate that 4/5 but sometimes the questions asked in end-semester exams are very irrelevant to the subject.

The faculty of the college is the best.

Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality of the teachers is too good. College semester exams are tougher than others, but due to the teaching quality of the teachers, the pass percentage of the students is approximately 74%.

If your skills are good, you can easily get jobs in the IT sector.

Faculty: The faculty of the college is very helpful and very experienced. Their teaching quality is awesome. Our course curriculum is relevant, though it does not make the students industry-ready. The semester exams are very tough. The minimum pass percentage is a 6.5 CGPA.

BCET as the finest college in Durgapur.

Faculty: The faculty members are good but not permanent. They change very often, but the quality I have observed is excellent. The professors are very supportive; they offer many resources related to academics and others. They help in guiding each and every student based on their needs.

Experience of my college life.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable. They guide us about our future semester exams. The teachers' teaching quality is very simple, which is easy for the students to catch up with and learn quickly. As I am from the ECE department, my interest is in core.

Bcet Review by Bijoy Adhikary

Faculty: In the BCET college, there are maximum teachers qualified with MTech, and some teachers are qualified with PhD. So, it’s good for both teachers and students. Teachers also help students every time; they are very friendly. They take it as just a spoken class and an extra coding class for the students. The college is under the AICTE and MAKUT, so it’s quite difficult to pass the semester exam, but if the students study in the whole semester, they will pass easily.

College with lower fees. Completely worth it.

Faculty: The faculty is well qualified with various teachers holding the Ph.D. degree and also very helpful towards the students. The course is completed well in time with regular periodic tests and practical exams. Students are made industry-ready with the various courses and trends going on in the industry.

BCET college review. Better college in Durgapur.

Faculty: Some teachers are good, some are not. The teaching quality is average. I don't like the Makaut course curriculum much because it has biology and EVS as subjects—not much to make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate; you have to give them under camera. Minimum passing marks are 40/100.

Review : Faculty improvement is needed; infrastructure is decent but lacks sufficient amenities.

Faculty: Teachers are good if students study; teaching quality is average and not very engaging. If made more interesting, attendance would likely improve. BCET is affiliated with MAKAUT, but its curriculum does not seem industry-relevant as it includes subjects like Biology and EVS which are of limited use. Semester exam difficulty is average; MAKAUT's exam patterns sometimes cover only 1-2 modules out of 5-6, necessitating thorough study of all modules.
