The honest answers campus life.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are good at my college. The full campus is covered by Wi-Fi, and we have fully air-conditioned facilities. We have computer labs, separate labs for other subjects like Physics, Chemistry, digital & analog, etc. Hostels for boys and girls have a cafeteria on our campus and a grocery shop for essential needs. We have a basketball court as well as ground for different sports like football, volleyball, and cricket. We have SKS Medical College and Vivekananda Hospita...

Review of Bengal College of Engineering and Technology, Durgapur

Infrastructure: BCET (Bengal College of Engineering and Technology) offers a variety of facilities. The campus has Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, and a large library. Hostel rooms are available in both single and shared options, with basic furnishings. The food in the mess is often described as average but healthy. Campus canteens provide more variety. For medical needs, there is a 24x7 first-aid center on campus. The college also has a gym and sports facilities for games like cricket, football, and table tennis. O...

Review of Bengal College of Engineering and Technology.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good. Veg and non-veg both are provided by the hostel. Most of the students are from Bihar rather than Bengal and some of the students are from Jharkhand. The hostel campus is a good and peaceful place. The warden is helping by nature and supportive.

Real face of BCET Durgapur.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. We never saw labs. We have green board classrooms with least amount of space and benches. Library is only for issuing books only. Quality of food is like getting atleast 1 insect in every 10 students. Medical room is there but there is never a doctor or nurse as it is a store room. Playground is full of huge grass like about 4 feet, but some way of playing sports or online game is there.

Good placement scope for students if they have skills. Faculty members could have been better.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good only as per the rating of the college. They have a particular lab for almost all departments where 75%-80% of the equipment is working. Hostel is average as expected not so Hi-Fi but decent. The cleaning staff is there but not consistent and hostel mess food I would rate 2.5/5.

Good infrastructure but worst faculties. Placement and internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: The only thing that my college has is its infrastructure. Our college has one of the biggest campuses in our city, Durgapur. The labs are very good. We have Windows 11 on almost every computer in our lab. Our college has a pretty big library, but nowadays, the Wi-Fi system is the worst. There is a pretty big playground at our college. Also, the hostels are very good, but the hostel food is a little bit oily. Nowadays, we have smart classrooms in our college. Because of a Durga temple, our hostel...

A good place away from home to learn, build connections, and explore career opportunities.

Infrastructure: There was a separate girl's hostel with proper security, Wi-Fi, laundry, food, and medical facilities. All the facilities were good. Mess was always accessible. The food was healthy and medical had 24X7 emergency facility as well. Sports and games were all open until 8:00 PM on the campus with security.

The faculty of the college is the best.

Infrastructure: All the facilities of the college are very good, and the infrastructure available for the course/department, like Wi-Fi, class, sports, medical facilities, and library, are very good. Also, the hostel facilities are the best, and food quality is too good.

BCET as the finest college in Durgapur.

Infrastructure: I only have a complaint about the seminar hall. It needs a vast upgrade; the projectors are old, and the sound systems are old. But the other infrastructures are okay; they are all well and nicely organized. I haven't opted for the hostel, so I can't explain that.

Bcet Review by Bijoy Adhikary

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is impressive. All blocks are separate from each other: CST, Core, CE, and me. So it looks neat and clean. Also, the college library is located on the college campus, and there are so many engineering books and competitive exam books. And in the college lab, the computers are good, but some labs’ computers are very old, so this is a negative point. But all labs have AC, but the college campus does not have Wi-Fi for students.

College with lower fees. Completely worth it.

Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with Wi-Fi and internet connections and also hostel has an internet connection for the pre-final year and final year students. There is a central library other than the departmental library. The hostel has a twin seater room with individual cupboards a study table and chairs for both occupants and also the mess food is okay.

Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure for computer science and technology: good Wi-Fi, good labs, and a good classroom and library. Also, there are good facilities in the hostel, good food quality available, a good canteen, very nice medical facilities, and nice sports and games.
