The BGS Institute of Technology has a separate Training and Placement cell to guide and prepare its students for future industry roles. The Training & Placement Cell conducts tests covering Aptitude, Reasoning, Verbal & Mathematical Ability, Language Skills, and Technical Skills. The students go through Personality Assessment Tests, Presentation Skills, and Group Discussions. The BGSIT Training & Placement Cell trains the students in business correspondence, effective vocabulary, presentation skills & soft skills.
The duration of undergraduate engineering programs at BSG Institute of Technology, ACU is 4 years. But the maximum duration to complete the BE programme is 8 years from the date of admission to BSGIT, ACU. If a student fails to complete the course in 8 years, he/she will have to discontinue it.
BGS Institute of Technology, Mandya is affiliated with Adichunchanagiri University (AU), Karnataka. AU is a private university which was established in 2018. BGSIT has also been approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA.
BGS Institute of Technology has a 21 acre campus in Mandya whereas the Bangalore campus of BTI spans over 15-17 acres. BGSIT is located in semi-urban area whereas BTI is located in the urban area.
