College is friendly and kind.
Placements: Placement percentage is around 60-65% of Tamil department students who were successfully placed in relevant fields. Schools, publishing houses, media channels, and Tamil content startups were the major recruiters. Government opportunities were given to students who cleared competitive exams and were recruited into Tamil Development and Cultural Departments.
Infrastructure: College has a spacious campus spread over 5 lacs sq.ft, with 1.7 lacs sq.ft. of built-up area. Classrooms are well-ventilated, and smart classrooms are also completed. The college infrastructure is very good.
Faculty: We have experienced faculty led by a Ph.D., HoD, and supported by five other Ph.D. qualified assistant professors, working as a dedicated team. Tamil department has a total of 13 faculty members, each handling around 17 to 21 lecture hours per month. Internships & Projects include collaborations with schools, media houses, and publishing houses (organized via placement cell) and provide hands-on experience. Entrepreneurial training is college-wide. Ethos extends to Tamil students through workshops aimed at language-based enterprises (e.g., tutoring, content creation).

Comprehensive review of commerce program: Placements, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: 45 commerce students secured placements in companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and HCL. Students join as business analysts, finance trainees, and process associates. The average package is 4.2 LPA. Internships done at SBI generally have a strong placement record with a wide range of companies recruiting from their various campuses. In recent years, they have seen a mix of high-paying offers and a large volume of overall offers. The highest package is quite impressive, and the average package tends to be in the moderate range.
Infrastructure: Commerce students benefit from well-equipped classrooms, a digital library, and modern labs. The hostel offers clean rooms, Wi-Fi, nutritious food, and 24x7 security. It is ideal for focused learning and comfortable living. It has comprehensive infrastructure across its campuses, including well-equipped labs, spacious lecture halls, advanced medical facilities, and robust IT infrastructure. The university also provides separate hostel facilities for both men and women. It has a transport facility and various recreational amenities like sports complexes and cafeterias.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and supportive, delivering an industry-relevant syllabus. Subjects are well-structured. Exams are fair, and the pass percentage is consistently high. Faculty members are engaged in teaching, research, and administrative roles, including dean, head of departments (HODs), professors, associate professors, and assistant professors, as well as non-teaching staff members.
Other: Commerce offers a strong career scope in finance and business, so I chose it. Events like BizFest add excitement here. It has a friendly campus, a good crowd, and great faculty support. Scholarships are helpful for meritorious students. There is a scope for more industry tie-ups.

The college is friendly.
Placements: It has a well-established Nutrition & Dietetics department that can place ten to fifty students per year, with a placement rate commonly between 75-90%. In the 2020-21 placements, 60% of students get placements across in various multi-specialty hospitals in surroundings of Tamil Nadu.
Infrastructure: The food in the canteen is hygienic. We get subsidized food in college canteens and hostels. Vegetarian and non-veg options are often available. There is a free campus Wi-Fi (mostly limited speed), and it is accessible in classrooms, libraries, and hostels. There is access to textbooks, journals, research papers, and e-resources. Some have digital libraries and e-journals.

Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure includes smart classrooms, a resource-rich library, and seminar halls. Hostel facilities are hygienic with regular maintenance, mess service, Wi-Fi, and recreational areas for students' well-being at Bharath College of Science and Management.
Faculty: The commerce course curriculum is updated and aligns with industry needs. Faculty members use case-based teaching. Semester exams are balanced and timely. The pass rate is above 90%, which shows strong academic support.
Other: I chose the commerce course for its practical application in careers. The best parts are case-based learning and expert faculty members. The campus is lively with fests and seminars. It has a well-connected location. I should improve industry exposure and global modules.

So here, we can feel better.
Placements: Some students join as script editors, anchors, or reporters in Tamil TV and digital channels. The rise in digital Tamil content platforms gives students freelance and full-time opportunities. The college placement cell arranges soft skills and interview training, which benefits students.
Infrastructure: There are separate hostel blocks with mess facilities under a shared bill system. On-campus dining has shared mess billing. The standards are average based on student feedback. The staff here are very good and respectful, and they are all concerned about our lives.
Faculty: The department offers occasional add-on modules to strengthen language and employability skills. Bharath Tamil Mandram conducts regular guest lectures, cultural events, and literary competitions to enhance applied language skills. There are also many friends here.
Other: Government scholarships (SC/ST/Minority), merit scholarships for toppers, and full attendance incentives are available, along with bank loan assistance. The campus is near the city bus stand with a serene, green environment offering indoor and outdoor recreation, campus shops, and a welcoming student community.

The college offers state-of-the-art fashion labs with modern sewing machines and CAD software.
Placements: There is a smooth coordination and timely update throughout the placement process. A good variety of companies visited the campus. A significant number of students also secured internships in reputed firms, which not only enhanced practical skills but also converted into full-time offers for many. Around 85% of FT students are successfully placed, which reflects a strong placement season.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, whiteboards, and adequate seating, supporting effective learning. The central library has a good collection of textbooks, journals, and reference materials relevant to all streams. It also offers access to digital libraries and e-resources. Study spaces are quiet and conducive to focused reading, though seating during peak hours can be limited.
Faculty: Faculty members in the Fashion Technology department are generally well-qualified and experienced, with expertise in both design and technical aspects of the fashion industry. The Fashion Technology syllabus is well-balanced between creativity and engineering, which covers core areas such as Textile Science, Fashion Illustration, Garment Construction, Pattern Making, Apparel Production, Fashion Marketing, and CAD for apparel design.
Other: A natural interest in clothing, styling, fabrics, and design often drives students to pursue Fashion Technology as it offers a creative outlet for expression. Fashion Technology combines design aesthetics with modern tools, like CAD (Computer-Aided Design), garment construction tech, and textile innovation.
