On JEE Main Cutoffs
Q:   What is the cut off for Bharati Vidyapeeth BTech course?
A:

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Engineering Delhi accepts JEE Main scores, followed by a counselling process for admission to the BTech course. As per the BVCOE JEE Main cutoff 2023, the last round closing ranks for BTech ranged between 53659 and 93312, among which CSE was the most competitive specialisations. During the BVP Delhi cutoff 2022, the last round closing rank for BTech in CSE was 40559 for the General Al quota candidates.

Candidates can refer to the table given below to check out the BVCOE Delhi cutoff 2023 last round closing ranks for all the BTech specialisations.

CourseLast Round (Closing Rank)
B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering53659
B.Tech. in Information Technology60535
B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering74825
B.Tech. in Instrumentation and Control Engineering93312
B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering79920

Q:   How many times can one appear for JEE Mains?
A:

Candidates can appear for a total 6 times in JEE Mains. The number of attempts is calculated from the year of passing class 12. For example, if a candidate have passed class 12 in 2023, he/she can appear in both attempts of 2023 as well of both attempts of JEE Main 2024 and 2025.

If a candidate opts not to appear in the exam in a year/session, that attempt will forfeit. For example if a candidate who passed class 12 in 2023 but did not appear in JEE Mains in 2023, he/she will have four attempts remaining in 2024 and 2025.

As candidates have a plenty of attempts (six), it is advised to prepare well for the exam and then appear in the exam. Appearing in the exam without proper preparation could effect the performance.

Q:   What is the JEE Main cutoff for BVP Delhi CSE course for ST and SC categories student?

Q:   What can students do after JEE Main session 2 result?
A:

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

I think it is good because of hygiene, cleanliness, sports facilities, connectivity, and a campus.
Placements: 4 students get placed in TATA Power and also receive offers from BSES. Around 23 students from ECE get placed in ZS. Many EEE students are interested in M.Tech, so they do not sit for interviews. Many also secure jobs at teaching companies. There is also a GATE-qualified student. EEE benefits both EE and ECE opportunities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere on campus. Labs are fully equipped with all necessary equipment. Classrooms are big. BVCOE is best in terms of hygiene, as cleaning and mopping are done 2–3 times a day. The washrooms are among the best in all IPU colleges. The mess food is not good, but the canteen is much better than in many other colleges. Medical facilities in the college are not available every day, but there is a hospital just behind the college. Sports facilities are good, with strong teams. The ground has improved after upgrades this year.
Faculty: Faculty is serious only if students are serious. Some professors are not very good, but the good ones really care about students’ futures. There are 2 mid-semester exams in even semesters and 1 mid-semester exam in odd semesters. The passing percentage is 40%, and internal marks are 40%, so passing is relatively easy.
Other: The campus crowd is very good due to the other courses available. The gender ratio is also very good, around 1:1.

The college has good infrastructure and very helpful faculty.
Placements: The placements are good considering the recession and job market right now. Around 80-85% of the students got placed, with the highest package going up to 60 LPA and the average around 7-8 LPA. Faculty and the course are very placement-centric, and the college focuses on research and internship training.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is really good with new equipment. Every classroom is air-conditioned and has projectors. Wi-Fi is available for all the students on the campus, and you can gain access to it by submitting a simple form. There are other amenities such as a gym, table tennis, volleyball court, basketball court, and cricket pitch. The canteen in the college serves fresh food at affordable prices with good taste.
Faculty: The faculty is really helpful and qualified. Most teachers are Ph.D. holders in their field and encourage the students to publish research papers and learn new skills. The curriculum is the same as all IPU colleges, which is good and relevant. Semester exams are somewhat difficult, but you can get through them if you put in effort. The passing criteria is 40% marks.

Really good opportunities.
Placements: If I talk about placements, companies do come here, it’s not like placements are NIL. But mainly, companies offer 3–4 LPA, which is way too less. Some companies offer higher salaries, but that too only goes up to 14 LPA, not more than that until now. Companies like TCS, Infosys, ZS, Samsung visit the campus, and some start-up companies too. More than 50 percent get placed for sure if relevant skills are there.
Infrastructure: This is the best part about this college, which I enjoy a lot personally. Wi-Fi is provided during labs, and otherwise you can buy Wi-Fi for personal use at Rs 140 for 4 years. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned and clean. The labs are good, but some of the computers and equipment in the Chemistry/Physics labs are old, which is still manageable. The library is small but neat, and you can study there, a wide range of books is available. The food is very tasty and delicious. We have a lot of options here, like 5–6 shops that offer hygienic food.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty are quite helpful. They teach very properly, and all classes are held according to proper timetables. If a teacher is absent, another teacher is arranged already to teach, so time is not wasted. Also, the teachers provide any kind of notes that are important for studying during the semester exams. They do various activities to make us industry-ready, like presentations and projects, which are graded. We also have societies in this college which are mandatory, so this adds to the extracurricular activities. The semester exams are of moderate level and scorable if studied.
Other: Well, the college provides scholarships and some great opportunities in research work. Also, two fests are held: a technical fest and a cultural fest. It is near a metro station, which makes the surroundings safe. Sports are also good, and various teams are formed for nationals as well.

I am satisfied with my college, as I have no problem with my hostel room as well as my classrooms.
Placements: I am in the first year of my college, so I don't have that much knowledge, but if you are a dedicated student in the field of teaching, then surely you will get placement on campus as well as off campus. Companies visit our college. I am not sure, but TCS and Infosys take an average number of students from here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is just amazing. Classrooms are so nice with smart boards and air conditioning. The library is also good; we can study there till 9 PM. I like my hostel room, and Wi-Fi facility is properly available in the hostel. Mess food is good not too good and not too bad.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, and a few teachers are rude, but teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of some teachers is good, but some create boredom. Semester exams are not too hard; we can solve them by previous year questions. In final exams, external marks matter.
Other: I chose this course because CSE brings more opportunities for us in the future. There are decent fests in college, but not too good. The connectivity of the college to the metro is superb.

It is a great college for new admissions. Faculty is good, and it has excellent infrastructure.
Placements: For the B.Tech computer science and engineering batch of 2023–2027, around 85 percent of students are successfully placed through the campus recruitment drive. The highest package offered is 64 LPA, while the average package is approximately 8 LPA – 9 LPA. Several reputed companies visit the campus, such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini, along with emerging startups like Zomato and Paytm. The prominent roles offered to students are software development engineer, data analyst, cloud engineer, cybersecurity analyst, and business analyst, reflecting the diverse opportunities available for graduates of this course.
Infrastructure: Proper labs are available for different subjects. We have clean classrooms with AC. Clean washrooms are available. It has a great library. Infrastructure is great, and what makes it best is the atmosphere. The cool vibes and sparkling areas make it look so good. Best part is that it is so close to a metro station, like you get off the metro station and step into college.
Faculty: Faculty members of the course are highly qualified, supportive, and approachable. Most of them hold postgraduate or doctoral degrees in their respective fields. They are not only knowledgeable in their subjects but also willing to guide students beyond the classrooms. The course curriculum is fairly relevant and regularly updated in line with industry requirements, with subjects such as programming, data analysis, and emerging technologies ensuring that students are industry-ready. Semester examinations are moderately difficult, designed to test conceptual clarity and application rather than rote learning, and with consistent preparation, most students find them manageable.

Fully satisfied with this college.
Placements: In the 2023-24 placement season, BVCOE hosted over 50 recruiters and placed around 323-345 out of roughly 534 eligible students, achieving approximately a 67-89% placement rate. The median/average salary stands close to 6.5 LPA to 7.8 LPA, with top offers reaching as high as 64 LPA. Major recruiters include Amazon, TCS, Infosys, IBM, Cognizant, ZS Associate, EY, and Adani Group.
Infrastructure: The expensive, well, resource library houses over 46,000 books, hundreds of IEEE and science direct journals, plus a digital library and book bank. Practical learning is supported by labs across all disciplines including electronics, computers, chemistry Matlab, microprocessors, and power systems. Hostel facilities cater to outstation students, with an on-campus girls hostel offering AC rooms in 2 and 3 seater formats. It has mess, purified water, study furniture, and 24X7 CCTV security.
Faculty: Most faculty members are well-qualified (many hold Ph.Ds), knowledgeable, and supportive, with standout professors providing excellent industry-aligned teaching. Student feedback is mixed while many appreciate the approachable teaching style and clear concept delivery, some report variability. Some faculty members are very poor. Even can not speak properly.
