Overall, college life is good. The crowd is more inclined towards Sikh people.
Placements: Almost 70 per cent of the college students are placed in tech companies, in which Infosys and Wipro are the major recruiters. The high-paying tech companies on the campus are fewer. Need to rely on your own potential and outsource, though overall placement in CSE is better with an average package of around 7-8 Lacs. The highest package on campus this year is around 25 LPA, however, off campus is around 60 LPA. 50-60 per cent got internships in startups and some of them in large companies, mainly off campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in each and every area, but it is available only for staff members, and the password is given only when specifically required. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped with basic necessities. Unfortunately, there are no hostel facilities in our college However, PGs nearby are available. There are 3 canteens in total inside the college, which provide good quality food at an adequate price. We have 1 volleyball court, a netball court, and a Table tennis court. Medical facilities are good enough.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and teach very well and are cooperative. The course syllabus is almost similar to all engineering colleges in India, and they are well exposed to industry Semester exams are moderate, not difficult if you study sincerely. Pass percentage is around 33 per cent.
Other: I would remove the unwanted subjects in the first year, which are irrelevant in engineering. However, this is followed everywhere. Events are organised regularly in the college along with exciting prizes. Fest takes place, but with basic things and bot, it's not worth it as compared to du.

It provided good placements last year.
Placements: Coding culture is outstanding, with great placements from the last few years.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay. There is no hostel, but there are PGs, which are near the college at a distance of 1 to 2 KM. Along with that, there are no sports facilities inside the college, but it provides facilities in Harinagar Sports Complex.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent with great experience and knowledge. Their method of teaching is very unique and proactive. The course curriculum is also designed to meet the needs of the present world, with some subjects getting updated from time to time. Along with that, various labs are open regularly. It has good staff members.
Other: No hackathons are organised regularly, and every student is given the chance to showcase their talent and grit, with many societies present in the college. The best one is the NCC.

Great college for students with good placements and supportive faculty.
Placements: Placement scenario is quite good in our college. The training and placement cell is very supportive and conducts regular sessions on resume building, aptitude, and soft skills. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, and Capgemini visit the campus every year. Most students from the IT and CSE branches get placed in their final year with decent packages ranging between 4–8 LPA. Coding culture is growing, and students who are consistent with DSA and development projects have a higher chance of getting placed in product-based companies as well. Off-campus support is also provided by the alumni network.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is well-maintained with spacious classrooms, projectors, computer labs, and a good library. Wi-Fi is available across the campus. The fees are reasonable compared to other private colleges in Delhi, and various scholarships are available for eligible students. However, the hostel facility is not available inside the campus, but many good PGs and rented accommodations are available nearby at affordable rates. The canteen serves hygienic food, and there are also medical and sports facilities on campus. Overall, the campus environment is safe and student-friendly.
Faculty: Faculty members in the IT department are knowledgeable and helpful. Most teachers have good academic qualifications and are approachable for doubts outside class hours too. The curriculum follows GGSIPU guidelines and is regularly updated with subjects like Data Structures, DBMS, Web Development, and Machine Learning in later semesters. Practical labs are conducted along with theory to ensure proper understanding. Internal assessment, midterms, and end-term exams are conducted strictly. Notes, PPTs, and past year papers are provided to help in preparation. Overall, the academic environment supports both learning and skill development.
Other: Apart from academics, the college encourages co-curricular activities like coding contests, hackathons, cultural fests, and technical events. Societies like coding clubs, drama, music, and dance are very active. I am also part of NCC, which has helped build my personality and discipline. The college location is well-connected by metro and bus. GTBIT provides a good balance of academics, opportunities, and exposure for students aiming for a career in tech.

Good faculty members and placements are okay.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech in IT from GTBIT. Around 80-85% of students in IT and CSE secure jobs through on-campus placements. The highest on-campus package shown on website is between 31 LPA to 45 LPA, with some off-campus offers reaching 60 LPA (but actual figure may vary if you know you know). The average package is typically 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Amazon, HCL, and IBM, mostly for off-campus roles. Internships via college are limited and not very impactful, so most students prefer off-campus opportunities. Common roles offered include SDE, data analyst, consulting, and tech internships. Most of us rely upon off-campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. When you come to report in college, you will find it attractive. But there is no ground, so college has to arrange ground outside the campus for sports events. There are working ACs in every room. There are 2 libraries, 2 labs for major subjects, and 2 canteens. You have to arrange hostel by yourself. Canteen serves good food. Sports events happen outside the campus. We have a gym also.
Faculty: All faculty members are supportive. Teachers are good till now. In first year, the syllabus is common for every branch. You can upgrade your branch after semester 1, if you get good CGP. Course is relevant, and there are societies that will make you skilled. Semester exams are a bit tough but mid-term exams are quite easy than semester exam. Pass percentage is 40%.
Other: The infrastructure could be better. It conducts small events for freshers. Sports meet and big events like Anugoonj are conducted. Campus surroundings are good and you get metro nearby Mayapuri and Subhash Nagar. Scholarships like CAPF and EWS are provided here.

Good college at all. You should go for it.
Placements: In our college, 60 to 70% students are placed at their performance level and skills. Highest package offered by our college is around 45 lacs, and average package is around 5 to 6 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Infosys, Paytm, and NEP. Around 50 to 60% students got internships from courses in companies. Top roles offered in courses are Engineers, Data Scientists, and AI Engineers.
Infrastructure: Facilities available are like Wi-Fi in labs, fully AC classrooms, and a library. Other is gym in our college. And our college has a book bank where we issue books for our semester exams, and we can use them. We have 2 canteens. There is no hostel yet.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-educated, and qualified. Great teaching quality. They make students ready for the industry. Exams are generally not difficult at all. If you study well, you can easily pass your exam. Passing percentage is 40 out of 100 in every subject.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an engineer. It's a tech course. More analytical knowledge. In our college, there are fests, extracurricular activities like NCC, dance societies, and all.

Decent college experience with good learning, helpful seniors, and growing opportunities.
Placements: Placements depend on your efforts. Around 70% of students in IT get placed. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and sometimes Amazon visit. The average package is 5-6 LPA. Roles include developer, tester, etc. Internships are possible through societies, seniors, or self-report. The placement cell supports you decently, but again, self-effort matters the most.
Infrastructure: The campus is not very large, but it is well maintained. Classrooms are decent, with projectors in many rooms. The library is good and quiet, especially useful during exams. The canteen is okay, though it could be improved. Wi-Fi is available but not always reliable. The college has a basketball court, a badminton area, and facilities for indoor games. NCC is a major highlight here. It adds a lot to discipline and leadership. Societies like Nexus (AI), photography, dance, and others also exist and provide a chance to explore interests. Campus life is good, though not as vibrant as at bigger universities.
Faculty: Faculty at GTBIT is one of the strongest points. Most teachers are supportive and well-qualified. A few go the extra mile to help. The syllabus is IPU-based, decent, and somewhat industry-relevant, but extra learning is needed outside the classroom. Exams are manageable, not too tough. The pass percentage is pretty good if you study consistently.
Other: I chose IT because of my interest in technology and the growing career scope. The college has active societies like Nexus AI enthusiasts. Fests happen regularly, and the crowd is decent. Seniors are helpful and always guide juniors. Campus connectivity is fine, and the environment is safe. One thing I wish were better is the campus space. It feels a bit cramped. Still, the overall vibe is positive, and if you focus on learning and take initiative, GTBIT can offer a good journey both academically and socially.
