Only TCS company visit with limited offer seats, there is no guarantee of placements, even the maximum students with good marks don't get the jobs in this college.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2025

A brief about my MBA from Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg.
Placements: The average placement is 3 LPA-4 LPA, and the highest package is 9 LPA-10 LPA. Companies like Career Mantra, Fundroom, Corizo, Intellipat, Academor, Afcons Infrastructure, Home First Finance, Stratview Research, Bajaj Allianz, Tube Investment, Emipro Technologies, ESAF Small Finance, TCS, Haleon, Solarsquare, Bhanzu, Shriram Finance, Berger Paints, Rinex, Dhanguard, Jaro Education, Nipon, TTEC, Gradguru, Vrize, Planet Park, Yugasa Software, Express Tradecom, VENSI, Manorma Industries, JK Lakshmi, Radio Mirchi, Gradguru, etc., visited. Some banks like ICICI Prudential, HDFC, and Axis also visited.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and greenery are quite impressive. The library is huge and accessible during college hours. I was not living in the hostel, so I don't know more about that. Wi-Fi is such trash, it is literally of no use.
Faculty: Teaching quality is a solid 10/10 as faculty members are experienced and helpful, and they also use to provide the notes by themselves only. Each semester has 2 class tests for 40 & 60 marks, with one final semester exam. However, somewhere, practical experience during the course is missing, the curriculum is 6/10. Faculty members are experienced and helpful.
Other: As per my experience, the teaching style can be improved, and practical exposure should be provided to the students. There is no industrial visit, no internship opportunity provided by the college. Scholarship is available for the ST/ST/EWS quota, for which certain conditions have to be fulfilled. The campus crowd was decent. However, I feel like there is only one fest that is Ojas, which was okay-okay only. Clubs are there, but for specifically management students, there is only one club. Extracurricular activities are not much, as I'll rate it as 5/10, and for sports, I'll rate it as 4/10.

Review by Ayush Kumar for my college, Bhilai Institute of Technology.
Placements: Average package is something like 5 LPA. Can't say perfectly about how many students will be placed. Top recruitment companies are TechNet, Infosys, TCS, and Wipro. Almost 100 percent of students get internships in local companies all over Chhattisgarh.
Infrastructure: There are so many facilities in hostel, like a badminton court, a gym, and also a sports complex for the students to play cricket and outdoor games, and a basketball court on campus. Food quality is average, but the warden and guards are so kind and helpful.
Faculty: Teachers and the seniors are also very helpful. Our teachers are so knowledgeable and good at teaching, and they are also very kind. They help every student in exams, as well as in extracurricular activities. Semester exams are not as difficult as those in other colleges. Pass percentage is above 70%.
Other: College provides a scholarship facility for the students. I chose this course because I have an interest in it. Some faculty members who are rude in college should be changed. It's an eco-friendly campus. We host a college fest, or we can say that the event name is Ojus. Many events are held on time. There are 5 to 7 clubs in college, like Vista for event handling, dance club, Lasya, and so many clubs.

Very good infrastructure of our college and well maintained.
Placements: In my college, the placement percentage is good; it's around 70 percent of students who are placed. There are placements available for all courses and branches. The highest package is between 12 to 15 lakhs per annum, and the average package is 4 lakhs per annum in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and well well-maintained structure of our college and facilities are also very good like free Wi-Fi free labs, classrooms, etc. Hostels are also very good and well maintained and the mess is also too good.
Faculty: In our college, our faculty members are very good and experienced. They are well knowledge. Semester exams are conducted every six months. There are a total of eight semesters and the passing percentage is also very good the percentage is around 99%.

Best possible college in Bhilai/Durg.
Placements: 19% (approximately) of students were placed in the year 2024 from my course. The highest package was around 8 LPA-9 LPA, and the lowest was around 2 LPA-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, L&T, etc. Internships depend on your own skills, and you have to find them yourself. For my course, BSP is there for internships. Most students don't accept the placement offer and go for higher studies. GATE results are good here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are good, but for summers, they need improvement. The fans here don't work, it's just like a showpiece. My favourite place on this campus is library, it has a lot of books and Wi-Fi is also available. The library is just beautiful, also in the summer, it has coolers. About hostel for boys, it is fine, but the girls' hostel is located outside the campus, and it is not good. It's better to live in private hostels or PGs. The food quality of mess is just fine. Overall, it is a good option for budget budget-friendly college.
Faculty: Teachers are good here, but the curriculum of CSVTU is followed, which is just so old now. Need an improvement in curriculum, but can't blame BIT for that, it's all on CSVTU. It's the best possible college in Bhilai/Durg and maybe in all of Chhattisgarh except the NITs, IITs, and IIITs.
Other: Many clubs are available here like vista, astro club, energy club, etc. Vista is the cultural club and it is just great. About astro club it was the only Astro club present in whole CG but now a new astro club is formed this year. Fest of this college is ojas which is good but can be better. Also it has a great auditorium. NCC and NSS are very famous of BIT and it is really great. The campus is full of greenary and looks really beautiful in the evening.

A great campus with helpful faculty.
Placements: Around 60 percent of students are placed from our course. The highest package was 42 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average package was 6 LPA. About 70 percent of students got internships. Top recruiters included Microsoft, TCS and others. Roles offered are software developer, data analyst and system engineer.
Infrastructure: My college has smart classrooms, good labs, fast Wi-Fi and a big library. The hostel is clean and safe and the mess hall is healthy, and the canteen is nice. Medical help is available, and there are many sports facilities. It's a great place to learn and grow.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and they teach well. The course is up-to-date and helps students get ready for jobs. Semester exams are moderate, not too tough if you study regularly. The pass percentage is good, usually around 80-90 percent. Notes support provided are helpful

It has well-experienced teachers. The campus is very beautiful.
Placements: After the Coronavirus, there is not a good situation for placements of core branches like electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and civil engineering. I am not at all satisfied with placements this year. Every next company that arrives is taking CS and IT field jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the building is very old. Every classroom does not have smart classrooms. It needs to improve the infrastructure. The overall campus is very good and greenery. The quality of the food is good and not very excellent.
Faculty: Teachers are very nice and well-experienced. Some teachers are very excellent. Senior most teachers are very much experienced. The overall teaching is good. Smart teaching is not used and I do not know why but it can be improved.
