If you didn't get admission in any colleges of Patna, then this is the best college in Patna.

Placements: There is no provision for campus placement in this college. We have to depend on government jobs after being graduate. The placement officer of our college is very inactive. No company has ever visited our college in more than 50 years of establishment.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. It premises is well maintained and cleaned. There is a water filter in each subject's department. There are multiple other facilities like Wi-Fi, library, canteen, adequate number of equipment in laboratory, etc.

Faculty: Faculty is very supportive. They are punctual and dedicated to their work. They conduct many extracurricular activities on regular basis to help students grow in every aspect. Despite the arrival of covid 19, this college conducted all their examinations on time which is a commendable job.

Other: The crowd and campus life of this college is very friendly. The environment of this college is very studious. The teaching faculty and the staff are very kind and familiar.

Our college is one of the best that gives a great college life to fulfill students' dreams.

Placements: Our college provided very less placements with salary packages of less than 1 LPA. Other universities appointed students from our college as teachers. Around 40% of students got placed. The top role offered was a professor.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided in our college were very good like the canteen and hostel facility. Our college had an antique infrastructure and a history of over 100 years. Our college had a great set of professors and all facilities like Wi-Fi, drinking water, etc. The quality of food served in the mess was good.

Faculty: Our college is one of the best for education in Bihar. Students could study science, arts, commerce, and many more. Teachers in our college were very supportive and helpful. Exams were conducted semester-wise. The pass percentage was very good. Students took admission after writing the entrance test.

Other: Our college is beside the river Ganga which looks beautiful look. The people were very good. Students enjoyed their college life. This course needs a lot of education so students can go for post-graduation.

This college is a place for all-around education in Patna.

Placements: I am highly satisfied to get my education from BN College Patna. Our batch was the most amazing, with almost all students got selected for an internship. Almost half of the students choose to become content writers, while a few choose to continue studying further. The 2017 batch was special because we got to lead the first-ever youth parade in the college. I was quite satisfied to be the poem-reciter of the class. Most of us got a salary package between 2.5 LPA to 4 LPA. The other special thing about BN College was our teachers who made us successful.

Infrastructure: I liked the library and class structure of our college. I enjoyed it the most in the auditorium of our college. The playground is a very good place to enjoy recess. The canteen serves various delicacies and ice-cream flavors.

Faculty: All teachers of our batch were very helpful. They have detailed knowledge of the subjects, and they guided us in all parts of life. The curriculum of the English Hons is a bit old and needs updation.

Other: I have chosen English Hons at BN College because my friend recommended me to join it. I have always wanted to be an author, and I found BN College an ideal destination. The syllabus needs to be updated with more emphasis on Indian literary history. Our college conducts 4-5 activities per year.

Review of B.N. College, Patna University.

Placements: I am from 2017 batch. I got admission by clearing the admission test. For honours courses, one should have minimum 45-50% of acadamics in their 12th. Usually honours students don't get placements. Only vocational courses students get placements. Top recruiting companies were HP, Microsoft and Jet king. The lowest salary package offered was of 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was of 8 LPA. About 30-40 % of the students will get an internship from college.

Infrastructure: We have air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi, library well-maintained ground and study park. Our college is very good for students who are economically weak. They will get good facilities and timely exams if they join Patna university. It is the only government university in Bihar that gives your degree on time. That's why I selected this college.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are NET qualified. They are helpful, dedicated, knowledgeable and qualified. But there is a set of 6 teachers in our department, and only one permanent teacher and 3 guest faculty members are available in our department. This course doesn't make student industry-ready. We have to go to general competitions.

Other: I have an interest in English literature, and the reason to select this course is to get more idea and depth knowledge in political science. I think course syllabus should be revised now. Many events, annual functions and extracurricular activities are held from time to time. The infrastructure facilities must improved to provide quality education to many students. Annual sports day, Republic day, Vivekananda birth anniversary, Sarswati Puja are some of the notable events of this college. The students who are in NCC will get a guaranteed scholarship. Most important students get here scholarship for their support.

After all college is good but facility needs to be improved.

Placements: Placement is not good only one or two student got placement out of 30 student. Only one or two company come for placement and they are not big company. Placement needs to be improved. As we know that unemployment is big problem of India. They must work on placement.

Infrastructure: Classroom is good apart from it the condition of everything (like hostel, mess canteen medical facility sports) is pathetic. Without facility of these things student won't feel good. Lab is not available. Government must work on it. Facility must be like 21st century.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and they teach well. Curriculum is good. It make students industry ready. Syllabus is mind blowing and it is divided in semester wise and it makes it perfect. There are lots of thing to explore. Here we get various subject to read.

Absolutely satisfied with the environment.

Placements: There were no placements for B.A. (Hons.) in English course. Though there were good placements for all the other branches. The internship was not required in my course. The students instead of jobs went for higher studies after the completion of the course.

Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure was very good. The canteen food was tasty and healthy. Proper medical facility was also there for the students in the time of emergency. The campus had wi-fi everywhere. A college library was also there.

Faculty: All the professors were well qualified and knowledgeable. They always supported the students and helped them in clearing their doubts. Proper revision classes were also conducted from time to time. The teachers were experienced and used to complete the syllabus on time.

Other: Various extracurricular activities were there to encourage the students to showcase their talents.

Good teacher quality in the college.

Placements: Good placement in our batch and senior batch. 65% students What placed. 40,30,20 K salary offered. HDFC, ICICI Bank, and other companies were visiting the campus. 75 percent of student's internship at this college.

Infrastructure: All Facilities are very good. The classroom is good, and the library is good all books are available in the library. Very nice quality of food available in the centeen. Also, the hostel rooms are good condition. No, I did not face any infrastructure related issues during our tenure at the college.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. Very good qualified teachers. Teacher quality was good. Yes, teaching methods were used and easy methods. The good ratio was the student's faculty ratio. Yes, I get industry exposure. Yes, the course curriculum was useful.

Other: Very proud moment in the college when P.M Narendra Modi visited the college on 100 years old college event.

It is very disappointing because of the faculty members there, otherwise, it is a good experience.

Placements: There are no placement offers in B.A. English Hons. Programme. The course doesn't have a recruitment programme, one has to be good in the studies and has to find jobs and a career on their own efforts. In other programmes, there are placement opportunities, like in the English Communication programme, Radio Patna gives placement offers, and many of my friends went there for internships, and some of them got hired as the Radio Jockey.

Infrastructure: The classrooms and hostel have adequate facilities with free Wi-Fi and sanitation. The library has books of all kinds, from textbooks to novels. The campus is full of greenery, there are different kinds of flowers and plants around the college. The canteen has good sanitation, and the food is delicious and affordable, too.

Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. However, they do not actively participate in the teaching. Many times they would be late to the classes, and often our classes do not happen. The syllabus and curriculum are to the point and very easy to understand.

Other: The course I opted for was because of my interest in literature. Except for education, everything is right there. The college fests are organized incredibly well, and there are lots of events happening throughout my semester. The seniors are interactive and are very helpful.
