Establishment year of Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) was 1988. The institute comes under an umbrella of Birla Academy of art and Culture. Basant Kumar Birla, ex-chairperson of the Basant Kumar Birla Group of Companies and Late Sarala Birla, Ex chairperson of the Birla Academy of Art and culture were the founders of Bimtech.
