This College is Too Good

Placements: Around 80% of the students in our batch received placements in top companies across locations like Chennai, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Bangalore. The highest package offered was ₹3.4 LPA, the average package was ₹2.5 LPA, and the lowest package was ₹1.6 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include TATA Motors, DANA TM4, Ashok Leyland, Larsen & Toubro, and Royal Enfield. Common roles offered were product inspector and supervisor. Additionally, some students secured internships at Tata Motors and Larsen & Toubro.

The college has very good infrastructure, facilities, etc.

Placements: Almost 47% of students got placed in our course. The lowest salary package is offered in our course. Top Recruiting companies in our course are Wipro, L&T, Tata Motors and Tata Metalic Ltd. Almost 39% of students got an internship from our course.

Infrastructure: There are 30 classrooms in our college, 2 libraries and 19 labs rooms in our college. The college canteen serves food and drinks for college students with very good quality and at the most affordable rate.

Faculty: There are 30 teachers in our department. All teachers are highly qualified, experienced and helpful. Teaching quality is also excellent. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.

Our college has good infrastructure, but it provided bad placements in the year 2016.

Placements: About 75 to 80% of the students got placed from college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 16,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month. The average salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 12,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our college were Tech Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, and L&T construction. The role offered was as a junior supervisor. Around 60 to 70% of students did their internships in Ashok Leyland and Sumakha Pvt Ltd.

Infrastructure: Facilities provided by the college were below standard. It has to improve in the lab and practicals. Even the study material and teaching quality need to be improved. Hostel facility was good for nothing. They charge a lot but gave bad accommodation. Quality of food served was very poor, and the canteen was not available. Medical facilities were very low. Sports and games were average.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful in studies. They have tried their best in all the things. They were qualified and had in-depth knowledge. Teaching quality was good enough. The course curriculum was relevant, but the practical materials were not enough to make student industry-ready.

Other: I chose this because it provides in-depth knowledge of every kind of engineering. It captures all the studies in other departments. The college should provide more practicals and improve the syllabus. Mainly 4 events and many short fests were held on campus. Campus surroundings were good. Scholarships were available, and all crowd easily connects with students, extracurricular activities like blood donation, etc., were organised.

The college is good for gaining knowledge.

Placements: Above 70% of students were placed each year. The highest package that I knew was between 4.5 to 7 LPA. The lowest package was around 2.4 LPA. Tata, Zomato, Tech Mahindra, L and T, and Birla were the most well-known companies that recruited students. Although, there were many well-known companies in touch.

Infrastructure: There were free Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library for students. There were two hostels, for both boys and girls. The infrastructure of girls' hostel was more clean and stable, it had four floors and a balcony facing the college, which was awesome. The hostel food quality became average, but the in-charge kept an eye on it. Although all medical facilities were available.

Faculty: In my Mechanical Engineering course, all teachers were highly educated, and most of them had a Ph.D. degree. They were very knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. Their workshop classes, industrial campaigns, and viva made students industry-ready. The 1st, 3rd, and 5th semester exams were the most tough.

Other: Basically, it was a government diploma engineering college.

Satisfied with placements and faculty of college.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very good. Last time 50-60% students gets some 2-3 placements and else got some good package the lowest package is 12k+CTC and the highest got 25k in hand both are monthly but some get more for their performance, placement officer is so helpful among students.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility in colleges is very good. It provides 2 times meal and the room of the hostel is very clean and the department teachers are very helpful regarding the course or some extra curriculum academic activity they always helps us and now new machines and instruments have been got the college for course.

Faculty: Department teachers are very helpful and they help everything syllabus or else which is developed the student skills with some software training or video tutorial showing. The semester exam is little tough but if student attend regular classes then it makes much easy to get good percentage.

Other: I have to in machines and variety of metals so I choose that course.
