Here are some additional updates regarding the BLDEACET:
- The COMEDK UGET 2026 application window will tentatively open in Feb 2026 for the admission process of BE/BTech courses.
- The JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses will tentatively be conducted between Jan 21 and Jan 30, 2026.
- The Karnataka PGCET 2026 registrations for admission to MBA, MCA, and ME/MTech courses will be expected to begin in the last week of April 2026.
- The KCET 2026 registration window will open on Jan 17, 2026 for admission to the BE/BTech and other courses. Students can register till February 2026 ( Tentative). The exam will be held on April 23, 2026 and April 24, 2026.
- The NATA 2026 application form for admission to the BArch course will tentatively be released in February 2026.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech courses will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.

Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology and 586 completed their graduation in 2020-21. The hostel fees at BLDEA's V. P. Dr. P. G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology is INR 24000 per year for a person. The mess fees is INR 16000 - 18000 per year per person. It has a 24/7 power supply and a TV in the hostel mess.
The hostel food is good and delicious.
