Very poor placement records. It is good for those who are preparing for government job exams.
Placements: Placements were generally for professional courses like MBA, BBAs, etc. Also, they were limited in numbers; very few candidates got placed through the college for other courses like B.Com., etc. There was a community of students who guided and motivated the new students for their career.
Infrastructure: The college campus was equipped with: Wi-Fi Connection (sometimes poor network) Library (very poor condition) Mess (always close) Playground (activities like kabaddi and cricket were played and conducted there) Also, the faculty members were so rude towards the students. Classes were never conducted on time.
Faculty: My course, B.A., was generally theoretical. The course curriculum could have been improved if integrated with curricular activities. Exams were not so difficult. Anyone could clear the exams with one month of preparation. The minimum percentage required to pass the yearly exams was 60%. No practical knowledge was disseminated in the curriculum. The teachers were not so cooperative. Some of them were genuine but most of them were lazy.
Other: This course I chose mainly because I wanted to prepare for the government job exams. The subjects gave me core knowledge and acted as a base. Curriculum activities were the least . Events and fests were negligible at the college. Scholarships were provided but most of the officials were lazy and corrupt. They behaved so rudely with the students.

I am pretty satisfied with this college.
Placements: This college doesn't provide any placement and internship.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, very big space and eco-friendly environment, but lack of facilities like clean water, no canteen or sports facilities. Cleanliness should be improved. The rest is fine, and you don't have to worry about your study.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, but we students don't attend classes on a daily basis. Semesters are easy. We don't study too hard to get good marks. The passing percentage is 45%. I got second division and most of the students too. Some of them fail too because they didn't write well in their exams, but you can re-appear and you don't have to wait much time.
Other: I chose this course because I am a student of the English medium and the English subject is my favourite, and it's very easy for me to understand. Everything is fine with other courses too.

It has good moments sometimes when politicians or leaders come through it.
Placements: 69.7% of students got placed in my course. Companies like Semsols, digital marketing companies, and Pink Lemonade (in Bangalore) visit our college. Roles offered for HR jobs are manager and assistant. Top roles preferred are real estate agents who hold capital. They are management placed there, and a higher percentage of people got jobs.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, labs, a library, a water filter for keeping hydrated, a good environment, and neat and clean furniture. Classrooms have very good quality. My quality of education and the food quality are also good, and medical facilities, sports, and games equipment are also available, and I like it so much.
Faculty: Teachers have full knowledge. The teaching is average. Somehow, it is difficult in exams only in the 3rd year, but even my friends helped me each time; we studied in groups. The minimum passing percentage is 55% of the total out of 100%. Teachers were very helpful and told me how the lessons were taught, and the notes they provided were of very good quality.
Other: It follows a low number of educational features, but the campus crowd is huge for this course.

Q:   Is it good to pursue BA in English literature?
    A:
Hi Balaji, Once graduated in B. A. (Hons.) English literature, you could do your M.A. or an MBA. There are several higher study options for meritorious graduates in English language and literature, such as journalism and mass communication; management; tourism administration; law; international relations; linguistics; communication management; film editing and direction; visual communication; and library and information science and forms of creative arts like drama and cinema. You can explore the option of doing some specialised post graduate courses for which graduation is needed in the field of media, multimedia, public relations, foreign languages, teaching, social work, finance, retail, design, hospitality, stocks, aviation etc. based on your interests and strengths. If you have a flair for writing, have good communication skills and a reading habit, journalism or mass communication is a good choice. You could also opt for academic careers like teaching and research and particularly training. English language training is a big and growing sector in India with jobs freelance and full-time options as an English language trainer or a voice and accent trainer. English can also help in being a part of call centres, TV, Radio, reporting and also in the advertising industry. You can also work in an embassy. I hope it helps. Please feel free to revert. Wish you luck.
