Moderate and decent package.
Placements: Most of the students get placed in companies. The highest package so far is 64 LPA. Last year, the highest package was around 15 LPA-17 LPA. The average package is around 3 LPA-5 LPA. Recruitment has some eligibility criteria, like CGPA and no back coding DSA in any coding language.
Infrastructure: There are 11 hostels. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, named BIET, with good speed. One common library for all the year students. One common sports ground for sports like football, cricket, kabaddi, and volleyball. One building for indoor games is available.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful while maintaining attendance and supportive of scholarship and studies, too. They have teaching experience and have a Ph.D., and some are guest faculty. Semester exam and class test are conducted for the evaluation of the subject. 41 out of 100 is a passing mark.
Other: Scholarships are given to all eligible students. Fests are conducted regularly.

Tier-3 doesn't do over expectation.
Placements: A total of 247 students got placed with various companies. The highest package is around 17 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, TCS, Larsen and Toubro, and others. All the students with eligibility criteria get placed somewhere with a decent package.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are available. Vrindawan hostel for first-year boys. Sake Bhawan for second-year boys. Panchavati Bhawan for third year boys, Jai Bharat Bhawan for fourth year boys. Yashodhara Bhawan and Kalpana Chawla for girls. Each hostel has its own mess and canteen facilities.
Faculty: Exams are conducted as a semester exam. Based on the textbook or class notes, there are repeated previous year papers too. Teachers are helpful and supportive, and have long experience in the teaching field. They have conducted 2-3 class tests in every semester. They have a PBL and an assignment for regular practice.
Other: Scholarship for all eligible students with some criteria. Fests are regularly conducted, and also in sports.

BIET has decent past placement records that are quite impressive. ROI of college is decent.
Placements: If we talk about the percentage of students placed from college, including all branches, it is about 65-70 per cent. The recent highest package was 30 LPA offered to an ECE student, and the lowest is about 3 LPA. Students got internships from college via many clubs, like the learners' club, machinery and motors club, etc., in companies like Wipro, Ashok Leyland, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite old, but it's not that bad because the greenery present in the college makes the environment very lovely. Mess food is also not that bad, not as good as home, but it's okay. 24/7 Wi-Fi is available in the hostel, and campus sports facilities are also good, like a badminton wooden court, table tennis hall, gym, football, cricket ground, volleyball, track and field, and many more. The library is quite good for studying with an AC facility, and classrooms are basic green board-equipped, but smart classes are also present.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are very nice and helpful, but some of the faculty are quite rude and only care about their work. All of them are knowledgeable, but their teaching style is not interactive, and it is boring. They included some relevant subjects in each branch, which will definitely help them in future, like DSA in CSE, and the AIML branch is included now. If you are able to study a minimum of 2-3 hours a day, you will easily score 7.5+ CGPA in semesters. Mostly, students pass by 75 per cent without any subject back.
Other: I chose this college and branch because it is a quite old government institute and has a great alumni network. The ECE branch is like an evergreen and interesting branch, according to me. I think there should be more advanced lab equipment which are used currently in industry. In our college, many fests are held regularly, so you will not feel bored here. Almost every eligible person will get a scholarship. The campus is naturally beautiful and healthy, neat and clean.

It is not good for placement.
Placements: 247 students get placed. The highest package is 17 LPA, and average package is 5.5 LPA. More than 50 companies visited the campus and recruited students. Around 70 percent of students get placed. Top companies are like Mahindra, HCL, TCL, Physics Wallah, Vedantu, and many more. Mini projects or internships are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is present all over the campus named as BIET. It has good speed and unlimited access 24X7. One common library for all where all necessary and basic books are available for competition exams or for semester exams. All around canteen is present for our daily needs inside a hostel campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and very well educated. We have a great teaching experience. Semester exams are not very much hard, moderate level overall book-based or notes questions. 41 out of 100 is passing mark. Some teachers are so irritating and have zero teaching skills just doing timepass in the classroom.
Other: All eligible candidates get a scholarship with full document verification.

It has strong labs and supportive faculty. There is scope for improvement in industry exposure.
Placements: Approximately 55-65% of students get placed, close to the institute-wide average of over 60%. Many professors are highly qualified, supportive during academic challenges, and offer guidance for GATE projects and internships.
Infrastructure: The central library holds more than 40,000 books and journals, including digital resources and access to online journals. Students also have access to a departmental library for Civil Engineering references. A 24x7 medical facility is available through the college dispensary, staffed with a president's medical officer. For severe cases, students are referred to the nearby government or private hospital in Jhansi.
Faculty: Faculty members in the Civil Engineering department at BIET Jhansi are generally well-qualified, with many holding M.Tech or PhD degrees from reputed institutes. The teaching methodology blends traditional chalk-and-talk with presentations and practical sessions. Faculty members incorporated field projects, surveys, and design models into learning activities, which enrich the understanding of applied engineering.

Do not take admission in this college unless you have a necessity.
Placements: As a 2nd year student in this college, the condition of placements is really bad. Hardly 40-50% of students get placed, and that too with very low packages. Last year, the average package was 5-5.5 LPA, the lowest reached 1.2 LPA, and the highest at 17 LPA. No good companies visit the campus, only some startups and service-based companies visit. Many companies, when I did my research, were also like fraud companies. So, you can assume only mass recruiters like TCS are the one that gives placements to 10-15 students, while other companies only take 1,2, or 3 students. The 64 LPA package in 2022 was an off-campus placement.
Infrastructure: There is 1 hostel for first year boys (Vrindavan Hostel) with average infrastructure. For the 2nd year, there are 3 hostels (APJ, Rajendra, and Sake), they get allotted based on the marks (YGPA) of the first year. Mostly, the top 10-15 students get APJ (single-person/room, good infrastructure), most students get Rajendra (2-person/room, good infrastructure), and students with some poor marks get Sake (the worst infrastructure, always leaks, and is dirty). In the 3rd year, there are 2 hostels, and in the 4th year, one hostel, both with single-room/person, and average infrastructure. For girls, there are 2 hostels, with average infrastructure. Don't expect Wi-Fi to work. The food is also not good, and the labs are broken. The academic buildings are really old, and computers don't even work. The campus feels like it is in the jungle.
Faculty: You will get qualified teachers here, but they don't take interest in teaching. Most of the teachers just focus on syllabus-completion and not on making students industry-ready. Only the Applied Science Department teachers are serious about their classes. The others just care for the students attendance to be above 75%, which becomes a really a great hurdle in studies of the students. We don't gain any knowledge by attending the classes, we still have to complete the attendance and have to study from different resources. Semester exams are okay, you can pass them if you find resources and complete the syllabus from there.
Other: Most people come here after reading false reviews about this college. Many say this college is just underrated. So, please take that out of your mind. Students only came to this college by mistake. No one is sure about the college, as none of the platforms have many reviews about this college, but the exposure here is really bad. No infrastructure, just a large area with only jungles. Skills are not taught, and the teachers are not good. Also, they say there are 60 seats in the branch, but they take 75 instead, sometimes even 80. There is a shortage of drinking water, so we mostly buy a camper from the van.
