B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

Dissatisfying professors are there.
Placements: About 50 percent of students got placed this year. The highest package is around 30 LPA, the lowest is 7.5 LPA, and the average is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are IBM, ZETA, Useful IBI Corporation. Almost 25 percent got internship opportunities. SDE role and data analyst role are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-fi not present, smart board for teaching is present, library is well maintained with all types of books. The quality of hostels is decent, lacks in some areas, but is okay. Food is really good in the mess, and canteen service is also available. Medical and sports facilities are not up to the mark.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but not really helpful, and the teaching style is also very old school. Some courses are still there which are not relevant otherwise courses are up to the mark. Semester exams are really difficult, with most passing barely. The pass percentage is good.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.4

Absolute value for money. If you want to come, try to get CSE branch here, its scope is wide.
Placements: Approximately 80 percent of students get placed in companies. The highest package this year is 12 LPA, and the lowest is about 3 LPA. There are many companies like Tata, Hero, Sota, Zeta, cement companies, manufacturers, and others. Approximately 85 percent of students get internships. Mainly CSE students get high placements.
Infrastructure: Department infrastructure is much better in the Mechanical Engineering department. Hostel infrastructure for 1st-year students is good. Second-year Aryabhatta hostel is not very good, but now a new hostel is open for 2nd-year students, which is much better, and the mess is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and help students at every moment. Courses are easy to learn and make you excited. Teacher quality is also good. Semester exams are easy with not much pressure. Pass percentage is 40 marks out of 100, and the pointer system is based on performance.
Other: I like this course, and my family background is also in Mechanical Engineering.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2026
3.2
4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
In the batch of 2026, placements for the ECE branch are very low, and students suffer a lot.
Placements: 60 percent are placed. The highest placement package is 16 LPA. The average placement package is 6 LPA, and the lowest placement package is 3.6 LPA. Inmobi provides placements for about 16 LPA in Lucknow. About 60 percent of students get internships in many different companies, like Useful BI, Airtel, etc. Roles like GET and SDE are offered.
Infrastructure: Labs have sufficient equipment, but all the equipment is too old. Some don’t work. Wi-Fi doesn’t work. It provides a network at a very slow speed. Hostel rooms are average, but the washrooms are very dirty. The hostel food tastes so bad that you will sleep without eating.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, but due to strict actions, students don’t like to go to classes. Some teachers’ teaching quality is good. College has its own syllabus, so it is good for us, but we can’t find any YouTube channels to study. Semester exams are average, and about 90 percent of students pass the exam.
Other: I chose this course because ECE has both placement opportunities in software and hardware.

It is really good to share and good to introspect.
Placements: There are around 75 students per batch, and some also come after lateral entry.
Infrastructure: The campus has playgrounds and dedicated grounds for sports. There are many sports facilities, as well as a sports complex. The selection also happens to these clubs based on your interest and zeal.
Faculty: There are many departments in the college. The faculty is nice, some are really good, and they do contribute. The course structure is fine and industry-oriented. There are 2 semesters per year, and dedicated exam structures are available. Class tests are regular with the end sem as the final exam.
Other: There are many fests that happen over the entire duration. The students are from different locations, which makes the atmosphere of the crowd. The location is also not remote, and there are things to explore and grow. The atmosphere is good. Shauryaotsav is an annual sports event that happens during college.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2028

4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
The faculty is decent and college infrastructure is average.
Placements: In our batch, nearly 65%-70% of the students from civil engineering got placed, while others opted for higher studies or government exam preparation. The highest package offered in our course is around 12 LPA, the lowest is about 3.5 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies included L&T, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and some core construction firms like Shapoorji Pallonji and GMR. Around 40% of students managed to get internships, mainly through companies like L&T, PWD, and private consultancies.
Infrastructure: Department provides a decent infrastructure with classrooms, a well-maintained library, Wi-Fi availability, and laboratories equipped with essential instruments for practical learning. Hostel infrastructure is satisfactory, with proper accommodation facilities, but improvements can still be made in cleanliness and maintenance. Mess food is average and manageable, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Medical facilities are available within the campus, and a nearby hospital adds to the convenience. Sports grounds for cricket, football, and volleyball, along with indoor games, are available, providing students with good opportunities for recreation and fitness.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and supportive, though the teaching style is sometimes more theoretical than practical. Curriculum is updated as per AKTU guidelines, but still lacks strong industry-oriented exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing more on theory. With regular study, the pass percentage remains above 85%-90%, so most students clear exams without much difficulty.
Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in civil engineering and the reputation of IET Lucknow as one of the top government colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The best things about the course are affordable fees, good placement opportunities, and exposure to both technical and extracurricular activities. Fests, cultural events, and student societies keep campus life active and enjoyable. However, improvement is needed in industry-oriented training, hostel facilities, and modernization.

3.6
3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Decent government college, placements are less in lower branches, and average infrastructure.
Placements: Chemical engineering branch is quite average, I mean you cannot expect much placement so rather go for GATE exam or go for coding as per your area of interest. The average package for chemical engineering is approximately 7 LPA. Top roles offered are process engineer, quality control engineer, and production engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Library is open for all good books provided. Classrooms are decent but washrooms in college are pathetic. Instruments in labs are not working mostly like in chemical department. In lab, mostly the instruments don't work. Also, some professors are quite particular about attendance.
Faculty: Some teachers are quite partial towards female students and sometimes their favourite as well. But some are really kind and solve our doubts. Semester exams are not that much difficult but you need to study from the start and not one day before the exam as it will affect your college.
Other: Events like Encore Udgam, Vidyut Bankura, etc., are held.
