It is really good to share and good to introspect.
Placements: There are around 75 students per batch, and some also come after lateral entry.
Infrastructure: The campus has playgrounds and dedicated grounds for sports. There are many sports facilities, as well as a sports complex. The selection also happens to these clubs based on your interest and zeal.
Faculty: There are many departments in the college. The faculty is nice, some are really good, and they do contribute. The course structure is fine and industry-oriented. There are 2 semesters per year, and dedicated exam structures are available. Class tests are regular with the end sem as the final exam.
Other: There are many fests that happen over the entire duration. The students are from different locations, which makes the atmosphere of the crowd. The location is also not remote, and there are things to explore and grow. The atmosphere is good. Shauryaotsav is an annual sports event that happens during college.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2028

The faculty is decent and college infrastructure is average.
Placements: In our batch, nearly 65%-70% of the students from civil engineering got placed, while others opted for higher studies or government exam preparation. The highest package offered in our course is around 12 LPA, the lowest is about 3.5 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies included L&T, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and some core construction firms like Shapoorji Pallonji and GMR. Around 40% of students managed to get internships, mainly through companies like L&T, PWD, and private consultancies.
Infrastructure: Department provides a decent infrastructure with classrooms, a well-maintained library, Wi-Fi availability, and laboratories equipped with essential instruments for practical learning. Hostel infrastructure is satisfactory, with proper accommodation facilities, but improvements can still be made in cleanliness and maintenance. Mess food is average and manageable, with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Medical facilities are available within the campus, and a nearby hospital adds to the convenience. Sports grounds for cricket, football, and volleyball, along with indoor games, are available, providing students with good opportunities for recreation and fitness.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and supportive, though the teaching style is sometimes more theoretical than practical. Curriculum is updated as per AKTU guidelines, but still lacks strong industry-oriented exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing more on theory. With regular study, the pass percentage remains above 85%-90%, so most students clear exams without much difficulty.
Other: I chose this course because of my strong interest in civil engineering and the reputation of IET Lucknow as one of the top government colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The best things about the course are affordable fees, good placement opportunities, and exposure to both technical and extracurricular activities. Fests, cultural events, and student societies keep campus life active and enjoyable. However, improvement is needed in industry-oriented training, hostel facilities, and modernization.

B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2028

3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Decent government college, placements are less in lower branches, and average infrastructure.
Placements: Chemical engineering branch is quite average, I mean you cannot expect much placement so rather go for GATE exam or go for coding as per your area of interest. The average package for chemical engineering is approximately 7 LPA. Top roles offered are process engineer, quality control engineer, and production engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Library is open for all good books provided. Classrooms are decent but washrooms in college are pathetic. Instruments in labs are not working mostly like in chemical department. In lab, mostly the instruments don't work. Also, some professors are quite particular about attendance.
Faculty: Some teachers are quite partial towards female students and sometimes their favourite as well. But some are really kind and solve our doubts. Semester exams are not that much difficult but you need to study from the start and not one day before the exam as it will affect your college.
Other: Events like Encore Udgam, Vidyut Bankura, etc., are held.

Faculty members and infrastructure are decent.
Placements: In our batch, around 60-65 percent of students got placed through campus recruitment drives. The highest package offered is around 10 LPA while the lowest is around 3 LPA. Average package offered is 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS Wipro Infosys Tech Mahindra and a few core companies. About 40 percent of students also secured internships in companies like Cognizant HCL and local industries. Most roles offered are software developer analyst support engineer and trainee engineer positions.
Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure is decent but has scope for improvement. Classrooms are well ventilated labs are equipped with basic facilities and WiFi is available though not always reliable. Library is moderately stocked and helpful for academic resources. Hostel facilities are average with rooms being manageable but maintenance is sometimes delayed. Mess food quality is average not very diverse and canteen options are limited. Medical facilities are basic and available on campus. Sports and games facilities exist but are not well maintained.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable but the teaching style is quite traditional and not very interactive. Some teachers are supportive while others are less approachable. Curriculum is somewhat outdated and does not fully prepare students for industry requirements though basics are covered. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with consistent preparation. The pass percentage is generally high, around 80-85 percent as the evaluation system is lenient. However the lack of practical exposure and modern teaching methods makes the overall experience average.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the field and the career opportunities it can provide. The best part about the course is that it gives a strong foundation in core subjects and helps in developing problem-solving skills. However, curriculum could be updated to meet industry standards, and more practical exposure with workshops and live projects would improve learning. Campus fests and events are limited but provide some opportunity for extracurricular participation. Crowd is friendly, though the overall campus life is not very vibrant. Connectivity to the campus is decent, but better transportation.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.8
4Placements3Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
This college is good for students who cannot afford colleges with high feels.
Placements: Approximately 80 to 90% get placed in the CSE branch. This year, the highest package goes up to 50 LPA, where the average is around 8 to 9 LPA, and the lowest is 4.5 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, and TCS come to our college every year. 75 to 80% of students get internships from the second year itself, and payouts go up to 2 LPA in companies like Amazon, Bajaj, and Tata.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity in the hostel is not very good. Sometimes it goes above 200 Mbps. Our department has suitably designed labs for different courses, with a library consisting of a variety of books in each and every field. The food provided is not very good. You can give a mark of 6 on a scale of 10. There are different sports clubs like volleyball, basketball, kabaddi, and badminton.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and are qualified from prestigious institutions like IIT, and some have done M.Tech from them. Their teaching skills are good. Sometimes they are strict if you do not attend their classes. The curriculum provided is somewhat lacking, as there are many additional subjects with 0 credit value, but it will be suitable for a student pursuing any field. Semester exams are tough, and checking is done by the AKTU faculty members; around 85 to 90% of students pass with ease.
Other: The Computer Science course is chosen by many because of its strong career prospects, high earning potential, and the excitement of working with technology that impacts nearly every aspect of modern life. The best things about this course include vast job opportunities, exposure to emerging technologies, and the chance to make a meaningful contribution to society.

College is good regarding return on investment. Location is fantastic so company visits often.
Placements: More than 500 students are placed out of 550 students. 3 students got the highest package of 54 LPA CTC with top recruiting companies like Amazon and Google. Many of the students got internships. Overall, 30% of our students got internships. Top role offered is assistant manager.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the chemical engineering department are very good as it has a new separate building of itself called NNF (Navyug Navcharya Foundation) but the equipment is not up to date. Hostel facilities are below average. The canteen is also average. Medical facilities are at the bare minimum. Sports and games facilities are nice.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable enough. But some of the teachers do not have the teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant. The exams are decent enough, not very hard, not very easy, it's decent enough to maintain our CGPA.
Other: This is the only course I am getting in this college so I preferred this. The best thing about my course is that it is very diverse. It's decent enough. Events and fests are all bogus. Campus crowd is good. Scholarships are also decent. Extracurricular activities are also decent.
