Decent college with okay teachers, average hostel, and awesome canteen food.
Placements: My friends in their 4th year just got their placements this year, and I can say they receive about 5-9 Lacs per annum. My college claims to provide placements ranging from 4-12 Lacs per annum. Top recruiters include L&T, Tops Technology, and electrical companies. About 60% of students are getting placements, I guess.
Infrastructure: In my department, the infrastructure is okay. The classrooms are spacious with benches and fans, but there’s no air conditioning, and in some classes, there are no smart boards. There’s a limit of 35 MB and only a basic internet speed. Labs for practical work are very modern and equipped with air conditioning. There’s a reading room, but it gets crowded during exam time, making it difficult to find a place to sit. The hostel facilities are also average. The rooms are not very big but manageable, with basic furniture: a bed, table, a chair, and a cupboard. The washrooms are average, and the Wi-Fi is slow.
Faculty: Most teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, but their teaching styles vary. A few teachers explain concepts thoroughly with examples, while others just read from slides. If you ask questions, many teachers will assist, but some simply say to "read from the book." So, it’s a mixed experience with the faculty. We do gain some practical knowledge and study from notes and PPTs provided by the teachers. Most questions come from what is taught in class.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty members because they give the best education.
Placements: There are many students who get placement in our college to succeed in their life. In the last year of 2024, one student got a 24-lakh-per-annum package from the company work, stack developer, etc., and students are satisfied a lot, and the families are too.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in our college that are very helpful to the students and facilities for their work and technical practice. Classrooms are clean and provide libraries also to bring the best books and also provide a reading environment. They give Wi-Fi to complete student's important work.
Faculty: There are many faculty members who have talent and their knowledge is fabulous so no confusion is created during student studies. Some faculty members are more talented at getting AIR in the GATE exam: 26 and 57. Some faculty members come from completing their education with a master's degree in IIT of Guwahati and Delhi.
Other: Our college should give a scholarship scheme. The surrounding is better.

The college is not good, not bad, but average.
Placements: I am in C.K Pithawalla College of Engineering and Technology student and my bachelor's degree will be completed in 2026. During the 7th semester, a 15-day internship is provided by the college. In my college, the highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA, so placements are average.
Infrastructure: I live in Surat, so that's why I can't join a hostel, and I don't know about the hostel facilities. In our college, the canteen is available. Sports area is available. In college, Wi-Fi, a library, and labs are also available. Facilities are good here.
Faculty: In college, some faculty members are very helpful and very supportive. Some faculty members only come for the salary, and they cannot teach perfectly, and only read chapters. Exams are semester-wise, so we face some difficulties as materials are not provided of that type.

Let's know about my college.
Placements: 70% of students have placed in my course. The lowest package offered is 4 lakhs per annum, while the highest is 15 lakhs per annum. The course covers top technologies like L&T, many from LinkedIn, and companies like L&T, etc. It also includes web development, software engineering, cyber security, and many more.
Infrastructure: It has seven departments. Each department has four laboratories with two compartments each. Each department also has three libraries and a reading room. The quality of food in the canteen is better than any cheap restaurant. It has a sports room that includes a badminton court, table tennis, chess, carrom, and a large cricket ground.
Faculty: Most of the teachers and sirs have 5-10 years of experience and hold PhDs. Yes, it’s highly relevant, and it makes students well-prepared for the industry. It may be a bit challenging, but most of the students are within the course, so it could be manageable for most of them. We’re also provided with the important materials.

Chalo Surat Chalo Pithawala college.
Placements: 50-60 percent get placed. The highest package is 13 LPA. Companies like L&T, Torrent, Byju's, and many more recruit here. Most students get internships from the college in companies around Surat. As a mechanical student, students get into production or design roles.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are large enough for more than 35 students to sit in a single class. The library is available in all the departments with all the course-related books. Labs are available in every department and are conducted regularly. The quality of accommodation in the hostel is good. Food quality is a minor issue. Medical facilities are available, and sports facilities are very good.
Faculty: All the faculty members in my department are well-experienced and qualified. The course throughout the degree is sufficient to develop skills and make students ready for the industry. University exams are comparable to 12th board examinations. If you review past 2 years' papers and study those questions, you will easily pass the semester.
Other: I chose this college because it's affordable and has well-experienced faculty members. The best thing I like is the festivals and the variety of food available. The college should improve its placement rate. All the festivals are celebrated on the college campus, such as Navratri, Janmashtami, and many more. Freshers' party and Atrang are also held annually. Students get all the opportunities to show their talents. Scholarships are provided, with 100% scholarships for ST/SC students and 20% for other categories. Throughout the 4 years, students are taken to various industries for exploration. The most enjoyable aspect is the sports competitions held on campus.

Supportive faculty, strong practical learning, peaceful campus environment at CK Pithawala College.
Placements: It's more than 60% in GUJCET and over 70% in the Board exam. The most prominent companies recruiting from my course are TCS, Amazon, and L&T. This college is affiliated with GTU. The highest package is 25 lakhs, while the lowest package is 5 lakhs. The highest percentage for internships is above 7.5 CGPA, with companies such as TCS and Narola Infotech participating.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided include labs, classrooms, a library, a canteen, Wi-Fi, medical facilities, and sports. Various events are hosted, offering enjoyment and opportunities to build connections with other students. There are also separate hostels for boys and girls, which provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner for hostel students.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-experienced and qualified, possessing substantial knowledge of both the study material and exam perspectives. They are very helpful to students, and the teaching quality is excellent and easily understood. The course is relevant and offers great internships to prepare students for the industry. A moderate level of exams is administered, with a passing criterion of over 50% that students must meet.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in how technology works and how engineering plays a major role in solving real-world problems. The best aspects of my course at this college include experienced faculty, well-equipped labs, practical learning, a supportive campus environment, and placement assistance. The only area needing improvement is the development of the campus and some facilities. There are also extracurricular activities available, including events, fests, scholarships, and sports events.

Food was healthy, tasty and hygienic but we can't expect to be as good as home food. I would rate my hostel and mess 9 out of 10.

At the beginning of the hostel days, I found a strong urge for the mess food. I can't escape even a single meal. Even I woke up before 7.30 am to have my breakfast on time
