Chalo Surat Chalo Pithawala college.
Placements: 50-60 percent get placed. The highest package is 13 LPA. Companies like L&T, Torrent, Byju's, and many more recruit here. Most students get internships from the college in companies around Surat. As a mechanical student, students get into production or design roles.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are large enough for more than 35 students to sit in a single class. The library is available in all the departments with all the course-related books. Labs are available in every department and are conducted regularly. The quality of accommodation in the hostel is good. Food quality is a minor issue. Medical facilities are available, and sports facilities are very good.
Faculty: All the faculty members in my department are well-experienced and qualified. The course throughout the degree is sufficient to develop skills and make students ready for the industry. University exams are comparable to 12th board examinations. If you review past 2 years' papers and study those questions, you will easily pass the semester.
Other: I chose this college because it's affordable and has well-experienced faculty members. The best thing I like is the festivals and the variety of food available. The college should improve its placement rate. All the festivals are celebrated on the college campus, such as Navratri, Janmashtami, and many more. Freshers' party and Atrang are also held annually. Students get all the opportunities to show their talents. Scholarships are provided, with 100% scholarships for ST/SC students and 20% for other categories. Throughout the 4 years, students are taken to various industries for exploration. The most enjoyable aspect is the sports competitions held on campus.

Review of C.K Pithawalla College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: I studied in the mechanical branch. I was a pass-out student of the year 2019, and the last year I also applied for a job in many well-known companies in college. There are some lists of companies Capto Engineering, Chola Insurance, L&T, Essar Steel, etc. Approximately 70% of the students applied for the job in which 50% of the students selected in the first round. However, only 20% of the student got a job in the above companies. The highest salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month by L&T, the lowest salary offered was Rs. 10,000 per month by Capto Engineering and the average salary offered was under Rs. 20,000 per month. The top recruited company was Chola Insurance, and 40 students were selected by Chola Insurance. Top roles offered in a company were a project manager and maintenance engineer. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA and the average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Around 50% of the students got an internship in Sumul Dairy and Reliance as a production and maintenance engineer.
Infrastructure: In our college, there are some good facilities such as canteen, library, etc. In our college, there are a total of 5 different buildings for different departments and one building for administration. All the buildings are well-organised and properly constructed. In the mechanical department, there are a total of 20 classrooms, and in every classroom, camera and projector facilities are available. All classrooms are well-ventilated. In the mechanical department, there are a total of 7 different labs which contains all the latest equipment, so students can easily understand. Our college also provides free Wi-Fi services. There is a canteen in the middle of the college campus, and the food is very delicious and hygienic. Seating arrangements at the canteen are also good. There are no medical facilities in the college. There is a huge cricket ground, and every year our college organises cricket competition. They also focus on extracurricular activities.
Faculty: In the mechanical branch, most of the professors are PhD in their field, so teaching quality was excellent. They not only focus on academy education but also focus on extracurricular activities. The main aim of the professors is to the overall development of students. They gave more practical knowledge about the subject, which is very helpful in a job.
Other: I have chosen this course because, since the 11th standard, I had an interest in the mechanical field. The best thing about mechanical branch is after completing mechanical engineering, there are many job opportunities and very good growth of job. I wish if the college focus more focuses on practice knowledge rather than theoretical in the course. There is a wide range of extracurricular activities organised in our college, such as technical festival, different sports games, cultural events, etc., every year. I also participated in each of this competition and also won the first rank in techfest.

Review of C.K Pithawalla College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Top recruiting companies visited our campus at our time are Essar, Chola Insurance, Ashok Leyland, Thermax and Jaro Education. Ashok Leyland offered the role of generation trainee. Everything that you need to do is start preparing for the government job, GATE or abroad. I don't think that you will get a job immediately after completion of the course. But don't worry, you will get too many opportunities after completion of this course.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi facility with 36 MB per day. Food facility is good. Sports are not good except cricket, kabbadi and volleyball. Classroom and library are good, but the ground and campus are bad. There is no place to seat or relax, and there is only place for parking. The infrastructure of our college is average.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful and funny as every college has. Junior faculty members are annoying, but all senior faculty members are PhD holders. All the teachers are good. Seniors faculty members always motivate and give extra knowledge. They are most energetic and do a mass bunk.

The administration still needs to be improved in our college.
Placements: Students got placements in some of the non-technical jobs also. Our college adds students in their training & placement G-mail group through which they inform them about various vacancies available for jobs in different companies. The top recruiting companies for mechanical engineering in Surat are Larsen & Toubro, Essar, Reliance, Oil & Natural Gas Commission, Kribhco, etc. The top roles offered are production engineer, quality control engineer, thermal plant-related jobs and managerial roles. There is no limit for the salary offered for the perfect students according to the job and the company.
Infrastructure: Our college is not connected to the road as it is located 2.5 km away from the city area, i.e., near Gavier village due to which everyone has to travel extra km to reach the college. Moreover, for the food, everyone has to depend on the only canteen in our college, and even for the stationery. The infrastructure of our college is quite good, and the classrooms and labs are huge with sufficient space. Most of the working equipment and machines are in good condition. Wi-Fi facility is also available, and the library is quite good and also have a separate reading room. But the hostel facility is not available in our college. For sports, there is a separate grounds for cricket and volleyball, and students also participate in various competitions.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members completed their PhD, and many are still doing teaching job in college. They are helpful, and there is almost 90% completion of syllabus of every subject. Every student has to maintain 75% attendance as it is mandatary. Our college does make the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because mechanical engineering is an ever-growing and evergreen line for study and for work. The conventional syllabus can still be improved by the university. Scholarships are offered for SC/ST students. Our college organises tech- fest every year. Our college surrounding is lush green, but there is a bit of a network connectivity problem.

The college has good faculty and facilities. But some sections of course and labs need attention.
Placements: The year I joined the college, about 90% of the students were placed in our course. Many companies, like Essar, Hydro Pneumatic Technics, etc., visited our college for recruitment. They selected students generally in the categories of maintenance departments, operational departments, etc. For a fresher, they were offered a salary package of around 3-4 LPA. The highest salary package ever provided to students is around 7-8 LPA. Generally, students have to apply in companies on their own for internships. Companies select students based on their preferred criteria.
Infrastructure: Each department has its own building with labs, classrooms, staff rooms and a library, and also has a space for parking of vehicles for students. There is a canteen in the centre of the campus, which provides a variety of food with good quality. Sports week is being organised in which various games like cricket, kabbadi, tug-of-war, volleyball, table tennis and some more are played. Volleyball and cricket ground are well-maintained for players. A good library is available to issue books and open study rooms also available for students. Labs have some good equipment and machines, but some of them need attention for proper working.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, educated and knowledgeable. They teach and guide very well, and they are available for any kind of help required to the students. Many of them done researches and have in-depth knowledge about the subject. Some newly recruited teachers need to upgrade their teaching methods as they are knowledgeable, but methods need to be improved for better teaching. Industry visits are organised based on subjects. Extra programmes can also be conducted to get real industry-level knowledge.
Other: The college organises techfest and cultural fest every year, which are excellent as many students participate in it and organise graciously. Gujarat Technological University also organises techfests, various competitions based on literature, singing and various fields. Many other extra activities and competitions in clubs like literature, fine arts, photography, singing and drama are conducted. I chose this course because I was interested in learning the aspects of these subjects. The best things about our course are it teaches you about the working of things that are practically around you. I want some upgrades in the section of courses that do not include the current situations in that field. Some new topics can be added, informing the modifications to the current topics.
