B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2026

Good but not best, the infrastructure is very poor.
Placements: No core companies are there for the placements. Only call centre and IT jobs are coming to the cell and for the interviews. The management is publishing 100 percent placements, but the truth is only a very few students are placed in core companies; others are placed in IT companies.
Infrastructure: Poor infrastructure, and the total campus area is very small when compared with other engineering colleges in the same university. The basic lab infrastructure is even not available. The tools are very poor, and the new tools have not yet been updated since years.
Faculty: Good faculty and courses when compared to the other colleges. Proper guidance is provided from the staff side and department, but the management side when observing is very unrealistic. Not even a proper single technical fest isn’t conducted during my years.
Other: Choose this course by personal interest.

Good infrastructure and supportive faculty, decent placements and vibrant campus life.
Placements: 50 percent of students get placed. The highest placements are given by companies like Gulf Asian, Abroad India, with a package of 50,000 per month. Average companies also come, and the lowest is up to 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Gulf Asian, MRF, etc. 60 percent of students got internship at DRDO, VRD, IISC, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi has low speed. Labs are good, classrooms are also very good. Library contains sufficient books, and the interior and space are also good. I'm not a hostler, so I don't know about the details. Canteen food is average, and medical facilities are also average. Not at all good in sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. That's why Christ has more pass percentage than other colleges. Course curriculum is not at all relevant because only theory sections; practical sections need to be improved. Semester exams are not at all difficult to pass. Pass percentage is 75 percent.
Other: I'm a mechanical engineer. I want to enter into Merchant Navy, so I chose this course. Best thing is about knowing about automobile, engines, machines, etc. I wish to improve practical sections rather than theory. Events, campus, surroundings are average.

Absolutely satisfied with CCE.
Placements: Almost 75% of the students are getting an average of 5 LPA from campus placements. The highest package was 11 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., came for campus interviews. Most students were offered internships with the help of faculty members. A key point is that everyone got their job in their respective fields rather than everyone being placed in the IT sector.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are equipped with advanced teaching tools. The labs are well-stocked with everything from basic references to GATE coaching books. We have 3 air-conditioned computer labs with excellent systems. The canteen provides high-quality food based on my experience.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very helpful and highly experienced. They are friendly and assist with doubt clearance promptly. The management has set a relevant course curriculum, and the college provides extra courses specific to particular sectors. The college ranks among the top 10 in terms of pass percentage.
Other: I chose my course because I am very interested in tech and gadgets and wanted to understand the principles behind machines, which attracted me to the engineering sector. I wish all students were provided discounts or scholarships for good laptops; that's something I would like to see improved.

Absolutely dissatisfied due to strictness and lack of events.
Placements: We get good support from our faculty members.
About 60% of students get placed within their field.
The average package is 3 LPA.
The highest package is 15 LPA.
Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro are here for recruitment.
The college supports internships and tries to provide it from 3rd year.
Infrastructure: We got 2 computer labs with good Wi-Fi connections.
About 60 computers are in each labs.
Good classroom with a big smartboard, which allows us to understand topics easily with video references.
The food at the canteen is average.
We have a library with decent books which are useful for our studies.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified with high GATE rank.
The pass rate for our course is about 90%.
Since the college conducts 2 series of exams and a model exam, students can easily score marks in university exam. Since we follow KTU, it doesn't make us industry-ready. Our college provides an add-on course which helps us become ready for industry .
Other: I chose this course due to my high placements. The college is very strict. I think it would be great if they gave us freedom.
Events are good. But they said they were going to reduce the events. The only good things that happen in this college are events, and now they are going to reduce them.

Good faculty, good placements.
Placements: 91% of students got placed last year in the computer Science and engineering department. It had the highest placement rate last year. Industries like IBS, IBM, TCS etc visit our college for placements. The highest package provided is 15 LPA and the average is 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained with smartboards, CCTV and projectors. Well ventilated and bright. Wi-Fi is made available on each floor. The college canteen is average and also spacious. Sports hours have been provided by the college. Hostel facilities are not so good but they are working on expanding the facilities.
Faculty: 85% is the pass percentage of the college. This is achieved by the dedicated faculty. Regular revision that is provided monthly helps the students to cover the whole syllabus. 2 series of exams and a model exam are conducted before the semester exam. It really helps a lot.
Other: The faculty members and students have a great bond. There were a lot of events, and fests conducted. They give a lot of aptitude tests and technical-based training from 1st year onwards. It will surely help us during the placement.

I am satisfied with good faculty members, grounds, events, and placements of my college.
Placements: My college is average in terms of placements. About 40% students are being placed from my course. The highest package offered was 18 LPA. Electronics and communication students of the batch of 2020 are placed with Aranlabs. Students from the same year had internships from companies like Kelp information tech Pvt., Chennai, GTECH mulearn, Inker robotics, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has very good and modern infrastructure. We have good Wi-Fi, labs for all the respective branches of courses, Matlab subscription, Library, vast ground, basketball ground, parking slots for college buses, etc. The quality of the hostel is good. Food is good. Sports competitions are actively held in our campus.
Faculty: The faculty members and teachers are really helpful and are doing a good job at delivering great results. We have many exams and internals being conducted for making us ready for the University exams. College has placements training sessions for the students from their 1st year of study. We have a high passing percentage overall. All the branches having a passing percentage of above 75%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be more creative and a social provider. I am interested in studying web designing and development. Many small and big events are conducted every year.
