The KCET 2026 registration window will open on Jan 17, 2026 for Center for PG Studies -VTU admission to the BE/BTech and other courses. Students can register till February 2026 ( Tentative). The exam will be held on April 23, 2026 and April 24, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The MAT 2026 Feb session registration is open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Feb 23, 2026, and the test is scheduled for Mar 1, 2026. Further, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Mar 2, 2026, and the test will be held on Mar 8, 2026.
- The Karnataka PGCET 2026 registrations for admission to MBA, MCA, and ME/MTech courses will be expected to begin in the last week of April 2026.
- The CAT 2025 result is out for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates need to log in to check and download their scorecards on the official CAT portal.
- The XAT 2026 result is out for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Students need to log in to the official XAT portal to access and download their scorecard.

Faculty members are very good, and the library facilities are good.
Placements: Many of the students got placed in MNCs. I also got placed in a company. Around 75% of placements were provided by our college. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The companies first offer internships to the students, and later, they will offer permanent employment. Around 56% of the students who joined internships were offered the stipend of Rs. 4,500 per month. It is very useful for all the students in this college.
Infrastructure: All the facilities like labs, classrooms, Wi-Fi and medical facilities are available in our college. Quality of food available in our canteen is very good. All the facilities are available in the hostel rooms, and the rooms are cleaned every week. I am not facing any problems in the hostel.
Faculty: All the teachers are very good at teaching. They provide good knowledge of the subjects. The standard language is used for teaching. They check the homework daily, and we can give no word for teaching. It is the most useful course for me. I have learnt many things from our college. I got placed in a good company with the help of our college.
Other: The college conducts different events every year.

Its cheap in college fees as compared to others private colleges, there is a free space with garden.
Placements: There are no placements offered by any companies to this college, and they only Provide pool campus drives, and they announce it very late. Just two days before they put it on the notices board. The internship is a myth here. They suggest only paid internship that too from the locality and they are interrelated and, they won't teach students well at the internship and it behaves like training institution. Only MBA placement is good, even though they bring BPO and Tech support companies with less package just for publicity they do this drama just to show that we have few companies here for placements, and to make hoardings for advertising purpose. The placement officer is not available at the office, and it is always locked. Randomly they put on the notice board, and most of them are not aware of everyone. They started placement from last year, but college started in the year 2008. Though we have lack of placements, I hope our juniors may get placements. I think the only drawback about this college is placements, for MCA and M.Tech courses even though teaching is average. It is a government college, no one cares students like private college faculty. The faculty members are also not good, some of the faculty don't communicate in English.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is too good, but computer labs are not maintained well, even though it's slippery during the rainy season. There are more workers than the students. The infrastructure of VTU is awesome, fabulous and mind-blowing. We don't find any infrastructure like this VTU in the entire city of Belagavi. The hostel facility is awesome and separate rooms for each student and separate hostel facility for both boys and girls. The internet facility is too good. We have SBI bank branch at the university campus, and we have banking facility for transactions.
Faculty: You need to study on your own, and no syllabus will be completed by the scheduled time. Even labs are not conducted frequently since there are no lab instructors will be available. It's like aaya ram gaya ram, and no one cares about you, and you need to be on your own. We have extracurricular activities like gatherings on the final day and fresher's day celebrations. And the sports section is good, but only one sports teacher is available at the college, and the sports equipment will be available, but they won't allow the students to play, is it too funny. They just store them in the treasury. The badminton court is not maintained well. The wooden floor is already ripped off, and the cricket ground is like full of grass, and it's like lawn done for cattle.
Other: The facilities like Wi-Fi and the library are too good with international journals and all the magazines. The courses offered here are MTECH, MBA, and MCA. The syllabus is huge but it's outdated, and as per industry exposure it's too weak and backward. Most of the people visit the university for the sake of collecting PDC(PASSING DEGREE CERTIFICATE). They collect more fees for re-evaluating exams. The regular exam fees are about Rs.300 per subject and Rs.3000 for re-evaluation even they don't show the photocopy of the answer script sheet, and there is no gap for backlog exams.

The infrastructure of the college is very good, clean and without violence.
Placements: About placements, there were only two companies which came this year. Some of the students got placed into it. The salary package was 3 lakhs. One company was Vyom Labs Pvt Ltd but I don't remember now about the other company. Roles offered by the companies are technical support, BPO, developer, etc. About the internship, 30% of the students got internships from the college. The highest stipend was 7000, the lowest is 0 and the average stipend is 2000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of VTU is fantastic. Here, all facilities are good like WiFi is there with a high speed and even LAN cables are given in every classroom and hostel room. Labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games are very good. All these facilities are available on this campus. Labs and classrooms are well-designed and comfortable. The food in the canteen is good. Hostel rooms are also very comfortable for the students. On this campus, no infrastructure problem is there. This campus is very clean, green and neat.
Faculty: About the faculty members, they are well qualified and their teaching is good but some of them are not good. They are very helpful for us and are knowledgeable. Various methods are used by them to teach us. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1. I have got the industry exposure. There are no extracurricular activities organized. Some are organized but they also not useful and helpful to us.

Satisfied with infrastructure need more industrial tie up.
Placements: Placement was not good, at all, in case of internship, college staff helped to get internship but not for all students very few staff tried their best but whole college should hep students to get internship and placement as well respective government should look in it.
Infrastructure: Regarding Wi-Fi, it is ATIT best good Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity for student good class room whole digital class room and furniture was best library was not upto mark need to upgrade more books and specially library staff should be well qualified need to understand the English and Hindi languages.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and humble and qualification is good also but incase of knowledge need more industrial exposure tie up with industries, both digital and conventional methods used to teach. Curricular was good but need more lab and research type of work.
Other: Fees is good for every student campus crowd not much has connectivity problem.
