Our college has the best environment.
Placements: Placement opportunities till now are not more. However, the new placement cell in our college has improved a lot and helped students to get high salary package jobs. Some courses like geography and computer science honors are getting placements now.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is beautiful as it is just beside Chandannagar Strand. Still, the college does not provide Wi-Fi facilities, and only students with access to the computer labs get internet facilities. This college only has a hostel for girls. The canteen has great food at a very low cost.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and all the staff members are very friendly except some people. Overall, they treat students as their own children and try to communicate with them. Students are very friendly here and help each other a lot. These courses are basic honors courses, so they don't make us industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to know the base of computer science. This course does not make students industry-ready, but the knowledge you get will be very useful if you want to pursue higher studies. There are scholarships like Swami Vivekananda Scholarship, etc. You can also avail Student Credit Card if you need money for doing any course. I am currently planning to do MCA or M.Sc in computer science after this course.
