This college is best for studies but the worst for placements.

Placements: Placements are extremely poor in this college, if students want to study and want to become educated then this college is extremely good. All teaching staffs and office are very polite and know how to tackle any situation, but if students are expecting placements then they have come into a very wrong place. This college is best for studies but the worst for placements.

Infrastructure: The classes are clean and all the necessary facilities are given and especially the teachers are really helpful. Smart classes are also there, though very few times it is needed, washrooms and corridors are clean. All teachers and students live with harmony and special care is also given to a student who is excellent in their field. The library is the best students can get, it has a dedicated separate building for the library, by which students can understand the level of the library in this college. Medical facilities are also given, sports and games are also arranged and there are no canteens because no one needs them, by walking 2 minutes students will reach the garden, then they can get food of as many varieties they want.

Faculty: Teachers make sure that students become prepared for all exams, they take exams on regular basis and helps to study and do projects. The pass percentage is higher than other colleges. Almost 7 out of 10 students pass with good marks and are satisfied with it.

Other: I am a computer science student, and I opted for this course because the facilities given to this course are enough with respect to students who are talking about a government college. Scholarships are also given, but I did not get it because it is for SC or ST, and I am a general caste, and to the girls are also special care is taken. Extracurricular activities are also impressive in this college.

Below average college. Try for another college.

Placements: No placement in last 5 years. Very poor condition of placements. I'm honestly saying this. In 3 years of your education you will learn nothing that worth placement at the end of the course you will realize it by yourself. You have to pursue MCA or M.Sc. to get a job.

Infrastructure: Average infrastructure. There a 3 buildings. One liberty and mass communication building, two B.A. B.Sc. . building and three B.Com building. There is a gym and a game room. But game room mostly used by union guys not accessible for everybody you have to take permission for that.

Faculty: Course curriculum is very outdated. Teachers are not updated though. It's under Calcutta University. Course curriculum is vast and useless. After completion of the course you will ask you what have I done in last 3 years. Faculty is average. Not in every department I'm talking about computer Science.

Other: Campus crowd is average. But union control everything. Yes college fest happen but whole fest controlled by union. You need to take pass to enter the event.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty and good placements.

Placements: Almost 60% of students get direct placements from the college. The Computer Science Honours course provides very good job opportunities in the future. I highly recommend this college to everyone. This college can assess your compatibility.

Infrastructure: All labs have high-tech instruments. The library facilities are the best in all of West Bengal.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and concerned about their students.

Other: I chose this course because of the many job opportunities in the future.
