Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Only 3-4 students in our course were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was around Rs. 12,000-15,000 per month. Top recruiters of the college were SML, Flipkart, and Amazon. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 13,000 per month. About 40% of the students got internships from our course in Flipkart and Amazon.

Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like fully equipped labs with tools and required things. All the labs and libraries are fully air-conditioned. Classrooms are neat and tidy. Canteens are also good. Hostels for boys as well as for girls are available with very good security. Hostel rooms are fully functioning and very clean. There is also a good mess where students and teachers can eat healthy and good food at just Rs.35 (unlimited).

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, especially when it comes to personal problems. As they are highly qualified and knowledgeable, they teach us easily. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant because some subjects and things are related to the course, and some are indirectly connected. It makes the students industry-ready.

Other: I've chosen this course as I want to do engineering, especially production engineering. The best thing about this course is the teachers as they are very helpful, knowledgeable, and very good at their teaching skills. The one thing which needs to be better is the attendance system. The sports head senior was from our course. Events and fests are conducted on the campus every year, which are mindblowing.

Your future is in your hand if you take admission in this college. I think your future will be safe.

Placements: Machino is the best company to get placed. It is all about automation. It shows how much knowledge you have about automation, and how much you need to get placed in this company. If you get selected, first one year you undergo training, and your salary will be Rs. 18,000 per month approximately. Then after training your salary increases approximately Rs. 30,000 per month, so keep working hard.

Infrastructure: In our diploma college when you go for admission you visit MPH (multi-purpose hall), which is full of air-conditioners, 2 big parks are available for sports and every year students are participating in the sports meet. Labs are also available. In every hall, seating arrangement will be perfect. The canteen is the best place in our college. All types of junk food, lunch and tea are available.

Faculty: In CCET college, the teachers are very qualified. The most attractive sirs are Huggar sir, who completed PhD in 3 subjects and wrote one book about Chemistry, Navyug sir who easily involve in students atmosphere, D.K Soni sir or Vipin sir who completely involves in NSS and give their 100%.

Other: For every 2 months, they conduct events like Apratim, star night, DJ night, NSS camp, NCC camp, sports meet, and sometimes other activities. If you win, they give you prizes. If you are a topper in your class or cleared all subjects, then they will give you scholarships.

The college is good, but teachers are bad.

Placements: 5–9% of students got placed in my course. The highest package was 2 LPA and the lowest was 1.4 LPA. MAKINO and Cheema Boilers were the companies involved. Only 5% got internships at MAKINO. The engineering college really needed to work on placements. Very few companies offered placements here.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms were good. The drawing hall needed renovation and the library was good. The college mess was very good. Canteens and messes had reasonable prices. Sports weren’t opted for because teachers kept deducting internal marks for those who didn’t attend class due to any events.

Faculty: Teachers were very egoistic. The course curriculum was relevant. Exams were of intermediate level with a 33% pass percentage. Teachers named Navyug and Raj Kumar were unfair. They purposely dragged down the overall percentage of students they didn’t like by giving low internal marks and failing them in practicals.

I am proud of my college.

Placements: The placements in this college have maximum chances to get a job with a better salary. In the production branch, every year, at least 8 or 9 companies visited the college and offered the lowest salary package is Rs. 15,000 per month. The vital point to think here is that if you get the job, you have to clear all your subjects with or above 60%.

Infrastructure: In this college, there are so many labs available for every streams. The library is also available, which is on the 3rd floor, which is the best place to study. Sports are also available like -cricket, badminton, basketball, etc. The canteen is also available, which is a perfect and clean place.

Faculty: In this college, the teachers are good qualified and knowledgeable, but some teachers are very high qualified like Mr Huggar Sir, who had written the chemistry book and completed his PhD 3 times. The teachers teaching methods are so simple that if you don't understand the method, you can suggest them to help you with the method. The production and Industrial engineering stream are one of the best streams because of maximum students would get jobs in their respective branch.

Other: In every month, events would organized, and even you can win a prize, some events are conducted by police, which are safety and health events to spread awareness. Some events are conducted only for entertainment. In the college there are two playgrounds, one is in front of the canteen, in this ground, you play only cricket. The 2nd ground used for playing basketball and some other games. The scholarship is the best thing if all-clear, last one year, you get the scholarship and if top the college, so you get the scholarship other types of scholarship, is also available.
