B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2018
3.4
Overall, it was an okay college. Average facilities, placements and infrastructure were okay.
Placements: I think only 50 percent of the students got placed and the average salary package was around 3 lacs. Tech Mahindra was the major recruiter. Mayur Owens was also there. And other companies in our surroundings. I think after the course, most of the students got internships and jobs in major cities. And others choose to prepare for government jobs. Our main role was to deal with mechanical engineering streams.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was there, and the library was there, though not enough books were there. Still, we can say okay. The classrooms were nice, like the seminar hall. It was a nice experience to study there. Mess was there and everyone said that the food was good. Sports grounds like basketball, volleyball, a big playground, and cricket were there.
Faculty: In the first year, there were nice facilities but afterwards, there were not enough facilities. Most of them were postgraduates. And some were undergrads. Yes, labs were there but the course doesn't make students industry-ready. Semester exams were okay; they were not quite difficult to crack and we could easily study and get a pass.
Other: I like the stream of mechanical engineering and there were limited colleges in our surroundings so I went for this one. There were programs like Tarunya and Lakshya, the cultural and sports fests, in our college as well.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2018
1.2
It is a below-average college, and I do not suggest students join this college.
Placements: Our college has bad placements. Only a few companies visit the college for the namesake. In the previous year, companies visited the college, but they did not provide placements.
Infrastructure: Librarian is good. Only a few books are available in the library. There has been a bad shortage of water many times. Labs should be reviewed. It should do many works. New paint had to be done. Overall, it is below average. It does have much huge campus. It is spread over only half acres, I think.
Faculty: Not all teachers are available here. Many times teachers are not able to complete the syllabus, or they are not interested in completing the syllabus, or neither students take them seriously. From time to time, the salary is not provided to them.

Faculty and knowledge, the best combination.
Placements: Placements are good as per the location of the college. Talking about my senior batch, almost 60-65% of students were placed. The highest salary offered till now is 4.8 LPA. Companies like HCL and IBM visited last year and in this year, there's a chance that Kirloskar will visit. Students were offered different types of roles in different fields. During my internship, the college gave a chance for a training at the Philippines to 3 students from each branch and the stipend offered was 14000 per month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is good. It has a 360-degree view and a beautiful garden. Wi-Fi is enabled on the campus all the time and the classrooms are well maintained. All equipment are present in the labs. One can do any experiments in the lab in presence of a guide. The campus has different courts for badminton, basketball, cricket and volleyball. I didn't face any problem related to the infrastructure or Wi-Fi. The hostel is just behind the college. The hostel has separate buildings for boys and girls.
Faculty: The faculty is very frank in nature. They will provide you with any help that you need in college. The teaching method of the faculty is quite good. They teach the practical subjects in labs, numeric subjects on board and the theoretical subjects on projectors. The faculty also helps in developing our personal skills. They guide me not as a student but as their own younger brother who is ready to be an engineer. This is the best faculty I have ever met. The faculty members always take their class for an industrial visit every 2 months so that the students can enhance their practical knowledge.
Other: The college life here is quite good. One will never get bored in the college as there is always some or the other activity going on. One will get a proper opportunity to go ahead in any field. Also, the college carries out certain seminars to motivate the students and conferences to get ahead in the technical field. The college itself performs workshops in the campus which are very necessary for the students.
