The best engineering college with a good campus life.

Placements: More than 50 percent of students went for internships. We are in our third year of attending campus selection. Our seniors got placed with packages of a minimum of 3 lacs per annum and a maximum of 10 lacs per annum. Students with backlogs had fewer placement opportunities. The top companies are ACCENTURE, IBM, GODREJ, INFOSYS, AIRTEL, HP, and EMERSON.

Infrastructure: The college is vast and has large grounds with multiple sports facilities. Wi-Fi is available on campus for student usage; there is even an online option. The college hostel has the best mess and rooms at an affordable price. The hostel has a gym, laundry, and even three different ATMs.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful with explaining and providing notes. Regular mini-projects and main projects are done by students in their third and fourth years under the guidance of the teacher. The course consists of regular internal exams, improvement tests, and final exams each semester.

The placement history of this college is consistent and good.

Placements: Placement in this college is good. Students get many opportunities and placement training is provided. The placement department sends students to company for direct test and interview. The placement history of this college is consistent and good.

Infrastructure: The campus is completely Wi-Fi enabled and large collection of books and previous year question papers available in library. The canteen food is very nice and we have a coffee shop too in the campus. I was not in the hostel but as I have heard in the campus from other hostlers the review is good.

Faculty: The teachers were very supportive and gave us good inputs. The course curriculum is also good and relevant to industry projects. The faculty helped us with our projects and mini projects and helped us publishing technical papers in good journals too.

Other: The fest in campus is very nicely conducted and everyone enjoys it.

The college is highly recommended. The college offers a peaceful atmosphere to study.

Placements: Based on last year strategy, almost 90% of the students got placed in a very good company with a decent package. Almost 80% of the students get an internship at our college. Top roles like developer, a scholar at SAP, software engineer, technical support and UI developer are offered to the students.

Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The infrastructure of our college is clean and neat. The medical room is available in case of any emergency. Hostel facilities are good with proper and reliable security. The library has all the books and materials, including journals, etc. Canteen is clean, and it served good food for the students.

Faculty: Apart from academics, the college also organises industrial visits for students to explore and know the requirements and expectations. Training is also provided accordingly. Project expo is organised. The course curriculum is relevant, but more book knowledge is required in parallel.

Other: Overall, it is a good college.

The only problem with this college is attendance. 85% attendance is mandatory.

Placements: The aeronautical department placements are good and no placements in M.Tech departments. IT branches get a good number of companies. Exposure to industries is satisfiable. M.Tech students get internships. The stipend depends on the company, most of the time, there will not be any stipend.

Infrastructure: The campus is very clean. The infrastructure is good. It has Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the college and library is also good. There are a cricket and football grounds. Security is very strict, we cannot enter the college without ID cards. There are a canteen and CCD outlet inside the campus.

Faculty: One of the oldest colleges under VTU. The faculty are helpful and qualified. It follows the VTU curriculum. The teaching methods used are good. Very less industrial exposure apart from the aeronautical department. The teaching quality is also good. The decent number of teachers are there in every department.

Other: There is no college fest since it has a diploma college inside the campus. There is a huge crowd.

Other: I enterI entered the college premises with new hopes and aspirations. I was glad to see that the college presented a new sight. It was quite different from what I had seen in and around our school. I observed that the students are free in their movements. They can do things according to their choice. I found all the students in high spirits. They were all happy to make friends. I moved round the college. I was very much delighted to see the grand library of the college where I could find books on very subject. The college laboratory excited my interest on the very first day and I got eager to perform experiments there. I found that the method of teaching in the college is different from that in the school. Each subject is taught by a specialized teacher. Questions are not asked in the classes. Professors do not rebuke the students if they fail to learn their lessons. They simply tell the students to be conscious of their responsibilities. The students find here a homely atmosphere which they lack in the school. For this, they feel easy and comfortable here. I felt a new rhythm of life and returned home with a mixed sense of duty and liberty.
