PES University MTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
PES University offers a two-year PG degree course of MTech across four specialisations. Apart from this, the University also has a five-semester Executive MTech course that is available in a single specialisation. To get admission in either of the mentioned courses, students need to qualify for the university’s in-house entrance exam i.e., PESSAT or PGCET/GATE with good scores. To get admission to PES University, MTech aspirants must have graduated in the respective subjects. As per the media reports, PES University highest package offered during 2023 placements was INR 65 LPA. The official salary details are yet to be disclosed. Meanwhile, the course-wise median package offered during 2023 placements is tabulated below:

PES University MTech Admission Process 2024: How to Apply?
The application form for PES University can be filled in online mode only. Interested candidates need to visit the official website of PESSAT to register for the course of their choice. The step-by-step procedure for the same is listed below:
Step: 1 Visit the official website of PESSAT (www.pessat.com) and click on the ‘Admission’ tab
Step 2: Choose the course in which you wish to seek admission
Step 3: Fill in your details like your name, date of birth, mobile number and email ID in the appeared registration form and hit the 'Submit' button
Step 4: Make a payment of INR 1,050 as an application fee. Once the fee payment is done, enter the transaction number and tap 'Proceed to Fill Application' link to complete the application process
Step 5: Proceed with application form and upload the scanned images of your recent passport-size photograph, thumb impression and other necessary enclosures in JPG/ JPEG format
Step 6: Verify all your filled details and hit 'Submit' to conclude the application process

The 2024 placement data has not been disclosed. Earlier, as per the official website, more than 30% of students received an average salary above INR 15 LPA during the 2023 drive. The complete placement report is yet to be released. Alongside this, according to media reports, the PES University average package and highest package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 17.99 LPA and INR 65 LPA, respectively.
The official placement statistics have not been released yet. However, the NIRF report 2024 has been released for Engineering and Management departments. As per the report, 1,199 BTech, 93 MTech, and 284 MBA students were placed during 2023 placements. The median package offered to BTech and MTech students was INR 8 LPA and INR 4.90 LPA, respectively. Further, the median package offered to MBA students during PES University placements in 2023 was INR 5.60 LPA.
