B.E. in Information Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027
4.4

Really good infrastructure and facilities, good placements.
Placements: Placements at our college are excellent, with the highest package at 92 LPA and the average package at 18 LPA. The faculty support seniors well in securing good placements, and many outgoing students have landed positions in reputable companies. Overall, placement performance is excellent.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good, with well-maintained buildings and facilities. Wi-Fi is available on campus, and there is a library for student use. Hostel facilities are also good, including a canteen and an indoor playground. The mess is located inside the hostel for convenience.
Faculty: The college offers high-quality education with knowledgeable and qualified faculty who are supportive and approachable. The curriculum is industry-relevant, providing practical skills and knowledge through lectures, hands-on projects, and internships. While the semester exams are challenging, they are fair and test a deep understanding of the subject matter, contributing to a high pass percentage. Overall, the college effectively prepares students for their future careers, combining academic rigor with industry readiness.

Better infrastructure available.
Placements: More than 75 percent of students were placed. Our college has good placement facilities because we have a cell that helps us with placement training. Approximately 5 percent of students got internships in other sectors. The top roles offered in our college are Business Management and Database Analysis.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are good, and the departments are available for every course. Wi-Fi, labs, and the library are available. Food is good, and they provide a mess and canteen. A medical kit is available, sports and games are conducted, and cultural events are performed every semester.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, and they are well qualified and have good knowledge in teaching. The teaching quality is excellent, which makes us understand the concepts. Exams are very easy; we can pass if we read before the exams. The passing percentage is 45% of marks.

Ok, only for placements. Do not expect college life. The college looks like a school with all rules.
Placements: Totally, 80% of the students were placed from our seniors passing out batch in CSE. 99% of the students were placed at the top recruiting companies, which are Cisco, Amazon, Bosch, etc. Internships are not more common on this campus, but you will get placed by the end of your third year, so an internship is not an issue.
Infrastructure: Hostel food is not that good. I would say we can manage it because it is completely vegetarian, so we cannot have non-vegetarian foods inside the mess. The benefit of this is that they will be keeping sweets or ice cream daily so that we can adjust, but some days we have to eat outside.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, and some teachers will give more marks and some will give less marks, but that is not the issue. We can score marks, and the teachers will give suggestions. The curriculum is relevant, and the projects are also like learning new things.

B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2025
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
A great college with excellent placements.
Placements: Usually, 70–80% of the batch applied for placements gets placed. In my course, 125 out of 153 eligible candidates were placed in 2024. The highest package was 41 LPA by NVIDIA, the lowest was 4 LPA by LTMindtree and the average is around 14.7 LPA for ECE. The top recruiting companies are TI, NVIDIA, Intel, Cisco, HPE, Qualcomm, etc. 45–50% of people got internships in companies like TI, Fidelity Investment, Western Digital, Toyota, etc. The top roles offered are SWE, Design engineer, Hardware engineer, SRE, etc.
Infrastructure: ECE has its own separate depth building. The college Wi-Fi is available to every student. The classrooms are well-lit, well-ventilated and have blackboards as well as smart boards for an audio-video experience. Apart from the department library, there is another 3-story building for the library with hundreds of thousands of books. Each student can get a maximum of 6 book issues at a time. Other than that, you also get access to the digital library. The hostel is certainly above average but not that great either. You get double-sharing rooms for the first 3 years and single-sharing rooms in the final year. The mess is okayish but the food in the canteen is good. The campus has a clinic inside where you can get free consultations and dedication for minor health issues.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are PhDs with multiple publications and are well versed in their subjects. However, there are cases when some teachers aren't able to deliver properly. For some particular verticals like VLSI, ADDC, etc. Most of the teachers are exceptionally good. The syllabus of ECE is the best part of this course. You don't need to study anything extra; just follow the syllabus and you will be ready for interviews. There are 3 internals and one semester-end exam with easy to moderately difficult level. Each internal is organised at a gap of 4 weeks. Usually the pass percentage is 70–80% for a course.
Other: I was good with math and physics, so ECE was a perfect course for me as it requires a good amount of the two subjects. The best things about my course are the placement opportunities and the syllabus. The improvement can be made by making the course a little less hectic. Usually, you don't get much time for extra activities due to the academic pressure. Also, the academic calendar can be made a little more specific. There are two major festivals called the 8th Mile and the E-Summit. Apart from that, departmental festivals take place too but they aren't annual. The college is on the Mysore Road highway and is just in front of Pattanagare metro station so you get excellent bus and metro connectivity. You have a teaching park and Kengeri satellite town nearby.

Why RV? Because we are we.
Placements: As I'm from the Biotechnology branch, most of the students opt to go to higher studies rather than sit for placements. Even for students who want to get into a good company, they can sit for placements. In our branch, companies like Merck, Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre, etc., have been tried with the department for better compatibility. Along with that, students can also sit for IT jobs, and the average salary package ranges from 7-12 LPA, with the highest going up to 16 LPA as per last year.
Infrastructure: The college has a good library and a decent campus, but when it comes to classrooms, they are now updating with digital equipment for better learning. Talking about the laboratory, it is also kind of decent, not that great. But overall, the campus is good for students and has 3 food canteens and 2 student areas for any discussions, one ground which is suitable for playing football, cricket, etc. Departments also have different libraries for each department with books for reference.
Faculty: Teachers and staff are really helpful and come up with different strategies for making us understand things. They don’t insist on us being in class all the time; classes are held in the amphitheatre as well as in the auditorium. All courses in the curriculum are very much relevant for what we need to ace things in the future, like anything related to Masters and placements. Semester exams are quite tough as they involve more applying of what you have studied.
Other: I have taken Biotechnology because I like the Biology subject, and the best thing is that they not only teach Biotechnology but also other subjects like management courses to have a brief knowledge about what happens in daily life. Events and fests happen every two years; trust me, they will be the biggest in the city.
