Balanced experience with good infrastructure and supportive faculty, but it needs an industry campus

Placements: Around 85% of students were got placed from my course according to their skills. The highest package of my college is 25 LPA, the average package is 4 LPA-5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA-1 LPA. TCS, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Deloitte, Accenture, and Capgemini are recruiting companies. Basically, 65% of students got internships in remote companies. The top role offered is a developer.

Infrastructure: As a B.Sc. IT student, the facilities and infrastructure provided by the department are generally focused on supporting both theoretical learning and practical skills development. The classrooms are well-ventilated and equipped with digital projectors and whiteboards to make lectures more interactive. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, allowing students to access online resources and work on assignments or projects from anywhere. The department also has fully functional computer labs with high-speed internet, modern PCs, and the latest software tools required for programming, networking, and database management. The hostel facilities are adequate, and the mess and canteen are average in terms of hygiene and good quality food.

Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective domains and most of them are postgraduate and Ph.D. The teaching quality is decent, with a good mix of theoretical and practical demonstrations. The course curriculum is moderately relevant but often leans more towards academic theory than direct industry requirements. Semester exams in the college are generally moderate in difficulty if you attend the classes regularly, take notes, and revise properly. The pass percentage lies between 85% to 90%.

Other: I chose this course due to my interest in technology and coding. The best part is the hands-on lab experience and supportive faculty. The syllabus needs to be more industry-related. The campus hosts monthly tech events and fests and has an active crowd, it's well-connected and offers scholarships and promotes extracurricular activities like coding contests and sports.

Best college for placement. Overall performance is best at the industry level for the job role.

Placements: 75% of students are placed in this course. The highest package is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.6 LPA. There are many companies that come to hire the freshers like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and Accenture. Many students are placed in these companies.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of library is excellent. Labs of this college are best, and all computers are the best in performance. We can perform any type of web design and app development. Hostel is not available at this college, and it cannot provide any type of hostel facility.

Faculty: All the exams and semester exams are held on time. All the courses like add-on or industry based syllabus are completed timely. Exams are easy to difficult in level. All the syllabus are industry-ready. Pass percentage is 60% for the semester exam.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in it due to its future perspective. Campus surroundings are the best and very disciplined way.

Overall, this college is better than others in Bihar.

Placements: Approximately 50% students are placed in reputed companies like Wipro, TCS, Accenture, etc. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the average package is 2.9 LPA. There are many top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte, etc 25% students got internships in many companies. Web development, data analytics, and data science roles are offered in my courses.

Infrastructure: There are multiple facilities available in my courses or department. This college is fully equipped with wi-fi, but students can't access it, and the lab is average because they don't provide any extra facilities there. 20% of the system is not working properly, and the library is average.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, and also good at teaching, but not all teachers are good. 40% teachers are good at teaching. Our courses also make us job-ready, but they teach only the basics. The semester exam is not too difficult, and all students passed successfully.

Other: Actually, I chose this course because it provides knowledge about computers, and in this era, knowledge is very important.

Placements: When we talk about my college, image, and the course B.Sc. IT, 70 to 75% of students get placed in renowned MNCs. The highest package offered by the course is 21 LPA, the average is 3.4 to 4.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.4 to 2.7 LPA. For my course, most MNCs are able to recruit students such as TCS, Wipro, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, and many more. Approximately 65% get internships from the course in remote locations. Based on IT technology, they get a developed role within the company.

Infrastructure: As per my department, B.Sc. IT has modern, industry-standard facilities to ensure practical learning. High-speed Wi-Fi campus internet connectivity is available across classrooms, labs, and common areas. Well-equipped computer labs, smart classrooms, including smart boards and interactive boards. Other: I chose the B.Sc. IT course at Image because of its strong industry connection. My interest in computer applications and the best thing about the course is that the syllabus is industry-based and in college. I wish there were more advanced workshops and regular classes going on. The crowd is diverse and energetic, with good connectivity to the city. Surroundings are safe, and scholarships are available for merit students. Extra activities, from sports to coding clubs, keep students engaged beyond academics.
