B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture - Batch of 2027

It is a very nice college of agriculture, Baseri Dholpur.
Placements: Roughly 25 percent of students from our batch are placed. The top package touched 4.7 LPA while the average range is between 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Recruiters included companies like Coromandel Syngenta Bayer and Godrej. Internships with these firms are also common usually in sales fieldwork or project based positions. Overall placement opportunities exist but could definitely be expanded.
Infrastructure: Institute offers good classrooms, well-equipped labs, a resourceful library, and Wi-Fi that works fairly well. Hostel rooms are simple but manageable. Mess food is average, sometimes tasty, sometimes monotonous. Canteen is a better option for snacks. Basic medical help is available on the campus, though serious health needs are addressed outside. Sports and recreation facilities are well-kept, and evenings on the playground are always active, making students' life vibrant.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, knowledgeable, and explain lessons effectively. The curriculum balances theory and practical learning, but more industry-oriented exposure would make it stronger. Exams are moderate and manageable with regular study. Pass rate is high. Assessments are conducted in a fair and disciplined manner.

Good academics and campus life, but placements could be stronger.
Placements: About one-fourth of students in our batch got placed. The highest package offered is 4 LPA, while the average falls between 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Companies such as Coromandel, Syngenta, Bayer, and Godrej visit for recruitment. Many students also get internships with these firms, mostly in sales, field officer, or project-based roles. Placements are decent but definitely have scope for improvement.
Infrastructure: Campus has well-maintained classrooms, functional labs, a useful library, and Wi-Fi that works most of the time. Hostel rooms are basic but livable. The mess serves average food, sometimes good, sometimes repetitive. Whereas, the canteen snacks are more popular. Medical assistance is available for small health concerns, but for serious cases, students go outside. Sports facilities are good, and evenings on the grounds are always full of activity, which makes campus life lively.
Faculty: Professors are approachable, experienced, and explain topics clearly. The syllabus is up to date and combines theory with practical knowledge, but stronger industry tie-ups would make it even better. Exams are fair and not too difficult if you prepare regularly. The pass rate is high. The evaluation is done seriously with no malpractice.
Other: I opted for agriculture due to my interest in farming and the career opportunities it offers. The hands-on learning and exposure are among the best parts of the program. Placements could improve, but otherwise, the campus environment is enjoyable with cultural fests, scholarships, extracurricular activities, and an active student community.

Review of College of Agriculture, Baseri, Dholpur.
Placements: In our program, placements are average, with about 20-25% of students getting selected. The highest salary package offered goes up to around 3.7 LPA, while the average falls between 2 LPA and 3 LPA. The lowest package is usually around 2.5 LPA - 3 LPA. Companies such as Coromandel, Syngenta, Bayer, Godrej, and Adama regularly recruit from here. Many students also secure internships with these same firms, mainly in agri-sales, field officer positions, and project-oriented roles. The exposure is helpful, but more opportunities in core research and industry-focused roles would make placements stronger overall.
Infrastructure: Department has fairly good infrastructure, including Wi-Fi connectivity, well-maintained laboratories, smart classrooms, and a resourceful library. Hostel accommodation is basic but manageable. The quality of mess food is average, sometimes good, though often repetitive. Canteen offers better snack options. Medical facilities are available on campus for routine health issues, though serious cases usually require going outside. Sports and recreational facilities are well-maintained. The campus grounds are especially active in the evening, which adds to the student experience. Overall, the infrastructure is decent, though improvements in the hostel and mess would be welcome.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive, qualified, and knowledgeable. They provide proper guidance whenever required. Teaching standard is good, and the curriculum is mostly relevant, though additional industry exposure would make it even better. Semester examinations are of moderate difficulty, and with regular preparation, they are quite manageable. The pass percentage is high, so most students are able to clear the courses without major difficulties.

This is the best agriculture college in Dholpur.
Placements: Placement scenario at SKN is quite discouraging for B.Sc. agriculture students. Around 10–15 percent of students manage to secure jobs. The salary packages are far below expectations, considering the effort and years of study. The highest package is good, but the average remains poor. A large number of students graduate without any opportunities. Internship options are also very limited and rarely from well-known companies. Most students arrange them on their own. The job profiles are offered mostly sales-oriented, which do not truly reflect the agricultural core fields.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities at SKN are average. They do not live up to what students expect. Classrooms and laboratories are outdated, with insufficient equipment. Internet connectivity is very slow or unavailable in many areas. Library lacks updated study material. Hostel conditions are below standard, with overcrowded rooms, irregular water supply, and poor maintenance. Quality of mess food is unsatisfactory. They always repetitive, and sometimes unhygienic. The canteen has very few choices. Medical support is minimal and unreliable during emergencies. Sports facilities are neglected. They are leaving students with little scope for extracurricular development.
Faculty: Most faculty members are well-qualified. They are not always approachable or supportive. Teaching style is theory-based. Along with little bit focus on practical exposure, and syllabus is outdated. It is not aligned with industry demands. It makes students less prepared for real-world careers. Exams are unnecessarily lengthy and stressful. These evaluations sometimes lacking consistency. The pass percentage is moderate, and scoring high is difficult due to lack of guidance. Curriculum and teaching methods fail to equip students with skills required for job ready.

Best agriculture college in Dholpur.
Placements: Hardly 10% of students manage to get jobs through on-campus recruitment. Salary packages usually range from Rs. 40,000 to 1.6 LPA. The main recruiters are SEED companies and Hexagon. Unfortunately, internships are not provided, and placement assistance is weak, because of this, many students prefer engaging in farming on their own land for a more reliable income.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms are decently furnished with a B.Ed wardrobe, a shoe rack, and an iron. Wi-Fi is available in hostels. Classrooms are spacious and fitted with digital teaching aids. The library is one of the finest in Dholpur. Hostel food is clean, nutritious, tasty, and served in unlimited portions.
Faculty: Professors carry 25-30 years of teaching experience. The course design is largely practical-oriented, giving students strong hands-on exposure. Semester exams are challenging due to a vast syllabus. Still, about 80% of students clear them, as a minimum OGPA of 5 is required.
