Review of College of Engineering, Kidangoor.
Placements: On average, students secure placements with an average LPA. Numerous companies participate in the placement process each year, yet only 60% of students find placement. The typical LPA offered by many companies stands at 6 LPA, although some students also secure larger packages. TCS, Wipro, and Infosys are among the companies involved in the process.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are average; rooms offer only average amenities. However, the ambiance with friends differs compared to other college hostels. Our hostel food is pretty good and somewhat tasty, but sometimes it becomes too boring, leading to many problems raised by students about the hostel.
Faculty: Exams are very tough. The KTU University syllabus is outdated and not updated enough. Moreover, the exams are very tough, with more questions coming from out of syllabus. KTU is the worst engineering university, so don't get trapped in KTU University; go and take admission in another university.

Satisfied with the college facilities.
Placements: Nearly 20% of students were placed at our college. Most of them are working. The highest package is INR 5 LPA. The lowest would be INR 2.5 lpa. Top companies include IBS, Wipro, Qburst, and Tata Elxsi. Students go for internships on their own. The college doesn't provide any internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for each department. The labs are mostly clean and very well equipped. Classrooms are big enough with enough benches and desks. The department library is small but has enough books. The college library is big enough to have many books. The hostel is good, with good food and facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and supportive. All teachers are qualified. All have enough knowledge of their respective domains. Teaching quality is very high. The course curriculum is relevant. Students gain enough knowledge. Most students would be industry-ready. Semester exams are not difficult.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Nearly 30% of the students got placed in high firms. The remaining students preferred higher studies or went to create start-up businesses. Top recruiting company is Wipro. They are offered roles in leading positions in their respective firms with high income.
Infrastructure: College of Engineering, Kidangoor Idangoor has everything a student needs, from well-equipped labs, a library containing more than 9,000 books, hostels, and a clean canteen. There are good sports facilities, a co-op store for essentials, and even a language lab. Overall, the campus provides a great environment for learning and growth.
Faculty: Teachers are really supportive and helpful. Some taught us things from an entirely different view. I admire many of them for their skills and qualifications. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The exams are held with standard difficulty.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027

Decent Infrastructure. Good faculty. Incredible Community. Average Placements.
Placements: Placements are plenty for computer science, electronics, and communication departments with decent packages. Whereas the other departments lack placements, I'm new to this college; therefore, my information on college placements and internships is very limited.
Infrastructure: Our college, the College of Engineering in Kidangoor, lacks a hostel, but that shouldn't be a matter of concern as there are plenty of private hostels and paying guest facilities available nearby the college. The college does have a women's hostel. The canteen facility at the college is top-notch, with affordable food items for all students.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified. Even though they may skip some exam portions, they are very friendly and caring. They truly want their students to qualify for the exams. The syllabus is based on Abdul Kalam Technical University, which some people consider very deep content-wise; industry relevancy is a matter of concern.
Other: Cape Fest and Lumiere are some of the flagship events of the college.

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: Nearly 30 percent of students are placed on our campus. Most placements are offered in computer science and engineering. The highest package is INR 5.5 lpa, and the lowest package is INR 3 lpa. The top recuriting companies are Qburst, Ust, Tata Elxsi, Wipro, etc. Students are not going for any internships at our college. Roles include software engineering and the QA role.
Infrastructure: Yes, most infrastructure is available. Wi-Fi is available freely for everyone. Labs are good with proper computers. Facilities are good. Classrooms contain enough benches and desks. The library is big, with so many books. There is only a ladies hostel provided by college management.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and cooperative. They have very good knowledge about their subjects, have good teaching skills, and are very supportive. The curriculum is not very relevant. It doesn't make students industry-ready. Coding subjects are not taught a lot.

You could enjoy your campus life here, but if you are into placement prefer another.
Placements: You get enough placement opportunities, one must be skilled by 3rd year so that the process of placement ease and one get the desired company, many of us get tester and developer roles and some of them get really good jobs, it depends on the skill level.
Infrastructure: Library facility are provided till 4:00 PM. Classrooms are averagely maintained, and faculty members are good. Ladies' hostel is inside the college, and many PGs are there for boys with decent food and accommodation, on average the rate would come nearly around Rs. 6,000 with all food and accommodation.
Faculty: Our curriculum is outdated but the curriculum has been updated with priority given to internships and placements. Students can have a vacation in the final year if they want to pursue internships. Semester exams are moderate if one is ready to work hard then exams are quite easy.
Other: Campus provides enough functions and co-curricular activities. Students can participate in these activities regularly with many clubs like IEDC and IEEE. Many of these scholarships are updated by the college group itself, I chose computer science because of this future scope.
