B.Tech. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2028

My point of view about the campus.
Placements: The average placement rate is around 84% of my branch of my college. Also, my branch’s average package is 10 to 12 LPA whole the most recent and the highest being 52 LPA. Our top recruiting companies are De Shaw and Oracle. According to seniors, 375+ internship offers were made in recent years.
Infrastructure: Facilities are really amazing, Wi-Fi strength is great classrooms are neat and clean. The library is really well established, and the environment motivates us to study. The hostel is decent, and the mess food is also good. Hostel have it's own laundry service, which helps students a lot. Amazing facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are really supportive and help when students reach out. The course curriculum is amazing, and I get to do fun stuff alongside my degree. The course curriculum is flexible and really helpful for industrial challenges for students. Not only that, but all the extra sessions held also help students a lot.

Absolutely satisfied with the placements of only my branch, average infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Placements are pretty good. Tech branches like CSE are pretty good, has a average package of around 17-18 LPA. ENTC has around 11-12 LPA. Core branches like mechanical, Metallurgy, manufacturing, and Civil has a average package lesser than 10 LPA. CSE has around 90% placement rate.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. Faculty are well-experienced but lack in delivering the conceptual study. Labs are not that good. Even some PC's don't work properly. Hostels are 5/10. The study environment is not that much in hostel environment. Mess is pretty good compared to others in Pune.
Faculty: Teachers are not that good at teaching. Some teachers are not even that knowledgeable. Teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is not that relevant except for some subjects. It does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty difficult in college. The passing percentage is around 30/100 in every subject.
Other: I chose this course because I got a good percentile in MHT CET. College should improve the coding culture. Events and fests are good.

Excellent academics and campus life, a great institute with a strong reputation.
Placements: CoEP has a strong placement record with a high percentage of students placed every year. Many reputed core and IT companies visit the campus. The average package is good, with some students receiving high packages. Common roles include Software Engineers, Analysts, and core engineering positions.
Infrastructure: For my branch, its a one of the oldest and core branches of the college and has old and new labs. They also have some new subjects for the core. Hostel have all facilities like a mess and laundry. In the hostel area, there is a cafe. The hostel is near the college. The infrastructure for the course and hostel (CoEP) has excellent infrastructure with the best labs. Recently new computer department building has been opened in CoEP.
Faculty: CoEP faculty are experienced and supportive. Curriculum is relevant and well-structured. Exams are moderately difficult and concept-based. The pass percentile is depends on overall students. First of all, they take the average marks of all, the lowest, and the highest, and then they take the passing marks.
Other: CoEP has a strong academic reputation, good placement, an active student club, and a competitive learning environment with great peer exposure.

Really satisfied because the curriculum is set based on students' understanding.
Placements: Approximately 92 percent of students from the CSE course got placed. The highest package is 51 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 17 LPA. Recruiting companies are Nutanix, D. E. Shaw, Arcesium, Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, Oracle, Google, Texas Instruments, NVIDIA, Mastercard, and Bajaj Finserve. The highest is 2 lacs per month by D. E. Shaw, Arcesium offered 1.25 lacs per month, Wells Fargo offered Rs. 90,000 per month, and Citi offered Rs. 75,000 per month. Roles offered are Software Development Engineer (SDE), Systems Engineer, Data Analyst/Business Analyst.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and libraries are in the best condition with a good environment (except for some old classes) but the Wi-Fi is not available in a lot of rooms on campus. The food in the hostel is good and healthy it also has many medical facilities. In front of the big ground there is a really good amount of sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are all highly experienced and the best in their fields which always helps in any problem. Most of the curriculum is real-life based hence a lot of help. The exams are quite tough but also strict and useful. Even after the previous year questions are provided in libraries it is still challenging to study the pattern hence a surprise test.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.2
4Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
Better than average placements, good faculty members, and average infrastructure.
Placements: Almost all the students who registered for the placement drive got placed. The highest package for B.Tech is 52.57 LPA by Nutanix, the lowest would be 5-6 LPA, and the average package would be around 9.8 LPA (2024-25). For Core Electrical/Electronics Texas Instruments, Nvidia, SLB, GE, Bosch, Rockwell Automation, etc., are recruiting companies. For the 2024-25 batch, out of registered students around 10 to 15 percent of students got internships in companies like Texas Instruments, Eaton, Siemens, Coca-Cola, etc. Roles offered are Analog Design Engineer, Digital Design Engineer, Control Engineer, Verification Engineer, GET, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities for my department are pretty great, the Wi-Fi is average, the labs are well-equipped, classrooms are also well maintained, the library and depth library both are great. The hostel is average, the quality of food is pretty great, the hostel campus has a very big sports ground as well only the intake of the hostel is very low, as someone who is not a Pune local. It's pretty hard to get a seat in the hostel due to its very low number of seats and colleges still keep increasing admission intake.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, very qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also very good except some teachers. The course is NEP-based and pretty relevant according to me just lacks a bit of practical exposure. They are pretty difficult and for passing there is a relatively lenient grading system in which the passing goes around 40 percent marks.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in Electrical and Electronics Chip, other than that it also opens many ways to get government jobs. More practical and internship exposure would be helpful. Events, fest, campus life is extremely good, and there are a lot of fests as well.

There is an absolutely crazy crowd at college.
Placements: Above 85 percent of students from my course get placed. This year, the highest package offered is 52 LPA, but I don't know about the lowest package. The average package offered is 17 LPA. Top recruiting companies like DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, Nvidia, CITI, BP, and many banks hire students from the college. In the latest batch, more than 80 students from our branch got internships. Top roles offered are software engineer, software developer, and system engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs are not that average. In our department, classrooms are good. The library is also great. Faculty members from the hostel are not that supportive. Medical facilities are average. Mess food is good. The canteen is not that hygienic. Sports and games are great.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality depends on the style of the teachers. Personally, I feel most of the teachers have great knowledge about subjects they are teaching. The course curriculum is relevant according to seniors. It does not make students industry-ready, but it gives them basics of that. Semester exams are not that difficult. Faculty members in our college have diverse mindsets. Some teachers are strict, some are very helpful, and some are very good at their behaviour.
Other: I chose this course because I love to think about how computers work internally.

No, COEP, Pune BTech admissions are yet to be opened in academic year 2026. Generally, CAP rounds for BTech courses begin in September with registrations starting from August. Thus, candidates should go to COEP, Pune's website or MHT-CET portal to keep track of BTech application status.
